It was midday and birds chirped in the trees, being happy as usual. Silently, Knight moved through the trees, ears pricked as he listened to the beautiful bird songs. Unlike most, Knight had a large problem with silence, it bugged him. He liked talking, hearing noises and knowing what was around him. It brought comfort to his paranoid side to hear noise.
His paws gently touched the ground, trying not to make noise. Knight didn't want to disturb the bird's song. So with a cheerful smile, he stopped beneath a tree. Sitting down by the aspen's roots, listening to the lovely songs.
[ I couldn't type well, nothing was articulating. So yeah, a little derpish. ]

Alexia was walking in through the woods enjoying the sunshine. It was about midday by the position of the sun. She would have to go back soon to get lunch, but until then she wanted to have a peaceful walk in the woods by herself. As she neared a giant aspen she smelled someone nearby. She quietly padded over to the tree wondering who else would be out here at this time. She rounded the trees base and found another wolf sitting at by the roots. He wasn't doing anything in particular, just sitting there with his ears pricked as if listening to the birds song. Alexia sat down and began to watch the other wolf, wondering what he was thinking. She took a deep breath and began to relax.

With pricked ears, Knight joyfully listened to the songs. It took him a while to realize he was being watched by the curious eyes of another wolf. He blinked, barely hearing the grass shift from nearby. He sniffed the air, and smelled wolf in the air. Perhaps someone he knew? But this scent was not familiar to him, so he turned his head, catching a glimpse of fur.
"Hello?" Knight called, trying to get a better look. He didn't want to be seen as threatening, so he quietly sat, waiting for a reply. The bird's song seemed to disappear, but he was paying no attention to it.

Alexia jumped at the sound of someone calling out.
"Oh hello, sorry to stare. You were just sitting so peacefully. I didn't want to disturb you" Alexia stands and cautiously pads over to the other wolf.
"What are you doing out here at this time of day? Surely you have to get back soon to eat with your pack"

Knight watched as she jumped, startled by him calling out. "Sorry to startle you Miss," Knight apologized formally. He hated to startle young maidens, but it was truly an accident. Knight watched as the she-wolf cautiously walked over to him. She seemed nice, and was a new face to him. "Well thank-you for being considerate." Knight replied, smiling to show his gratitude.
"I am out here enjoying the day. I also don't belong to a pack. I am just a traveling loner trying to find knowledge young maiden." Knight explained himself. He had no plans to join a pack, it wasn't something he wanted to do yet. HE wanted to wait since he was still young and learning. "Anyways, I am Knight. What is your name fair maiden?" Knight asked in his kind, formal way.

"My name is Alexia" She says looking the other wolf up and down. "And who might you be?" She asks suspiciously. "That is do you even have a name?" Alexia wonders if lone wolves even have names. She also wonders if they always have food to eat. Suddenly she feels ashamed for being so rude. She feels as if she should have been kinder.
"I'm sorry for being so rude sir. I should have been nicer"

Knight paused as he was asked for his name. He had already said it, but it could have been mistaken. "My name is Knight." He repeated, not trying to draw any ill thoughts towards him. He noticed her suspicious tone as she eyed him down. Knight took no bad feelings to this, since he too had slight trust issues. He stayed in sitting position, curling his black tail around his paws.
He listened to the Alexia as she apologized. "It's fine. You know nothing about me, so I understand your concern." Knight responded. He couldn't give her any blame for being concerned for her well-being. From her suspicious tone, he too had gotten concerned. It had gave him a bad feeling, but he understood why.

Alexia nods listening to him assure her. She thinks of how lonely he must be and wonders if there is anyway to help him.
"Where are you headed?" She asks politely. Trying not to be rude to this weary traveler. "Would you like to hunt with me?" She wonders, trying to be helpful and kind to him. He may be a stranger, but that doesn't mean I can't be nice. She thinks to herself.

After a few minutes of regular questions, Knight noticed that she seemed kinder and more interested. She wanted to know another simple fact, like where he was traveling to. "No where in particular, just here and there. I have always enjoyed traveling." Knight answered, like hearing a question he hadn't been asked yet.
Then she offered him a hunting trip, and he instantly gained interested. Knight loved hunting and he would love to go rather then hear the birds. "I would love to accompany fair maiden." Knight answered, jumping at the chance.

"Then let us be off, I know a great place to hunt"
Alexia stands and walks away. Looking back every minute or so to see if Knight is still following her. When she gets to the clearing she stops and turns around. "
"This is the best place to hunt. Plenty of fresh meat, the prey is usually out at this time so we should have no trouble finding food." Alexia turns around and looks Knight in the eyes.
"Are you ready?" She asks calmly.

Knight nodded and followed Alexia to her hunting grounds. He was excited to be hunting with someone for once, even if he didn't know them that well. However Knight wasn't one to judge since she was a lone she-wolf with possibly no allies. As she talked about her hunting grounds, she made quick eye contact.
"Yeah, I am," Knight answered, excited to start.

Alexia closed her eyes and relaxed. This was going to be a sucessful hunting trip. It had to be. She hadn't eaten in days and she was starving."Be as silent as possible" She says ,though it's hard to hear. She spoke in barely over a whisper. "We need to blend in, be still and calm. Don't move a muscle."Alexia sniffs the air and catches the scent of something close by. She slowly stands and opens her eyes. "I hope you like a good chase, because this deer is very fast."Alexia slowly pads over to a tree and peeks around it. "Let's do this."( Btw My speech is italics and my thoughts are in bold.)

Knight scanned the area, looking for things that would make noise. His paws carefully moved over sticks. "I know what I am doing, so don't worry about me," Knight replied. He sniffed the air too, catching the scent of deer.
"Chasing is hunting," Knight responded. He followed Alexia over the trees, his eyes focused more on the deer. "Yes, lets," Knight agreed, following Alexia's lead.

Alexia takes a deep breath and pounces at the deer, running after it as it tries to escape. I have to catch this one. I have to get something to eat before I starve to death. Alexia puts on a burst of speed and ends up right behind the deer. I've got this one,I know it! Alexia jumps up and pounces on the deer. Yes! I got it! Now that I have a hunting partner I won't have to kill it. Alexia leans down and whispers in the deers ear. "Thank you for your sacrifice"

Knight waited and watched as Alexia lunged at the deer, but the deer was quick and began to run. Knight didn't hesitate to chase after it as well, but he was further behind Alexia. He was large and had more bulk on him, and the she-wolf was clearly determined and speedy. He watched as after a burst of speed, she caught up to it. She lunged and latched on to the pelt, bringing it down. On a normal day, Knight would be lead and everything else in a pack hunt, but he could tell that Alexia had already taken that position.
Knight didn't hesitate to catch up and pray thanks to the deer. He caught up after a little bit, the deer on the ground, and had no more hope. Unlike Alexia, Knight's prayer was more silent, a simple bow of the head. This was the way his knight code worked more so. He opened his jaw and with a quick killing bite, ended the creature's misery. Sweet blood flowing onto his tongue, but he stepped back. "You brought it down, take the first bite," Knight offered.
