(( Just a reminder I am using my phone for a week or two so please again excuse the terrible posts ! Cx ))
It was a nice cool summers day when little Nero awoke from his slumber . He stretched his tiny paws on by one and padded out into the camp clearing . He yawned and blinked his eyes wide open trying to adjust to the bright sunlight . He looked around and saw no other wolves around . ' probably all busy ' he thought to himself . His brown fluffy fur stood out oddly in all directions . He ignored it and eyed around looking for somebody in specific .
Neros small yellow eyes gleamed as he peered from den to den waking some up as he called for the wolf he was in search for . He sighed sadly when he could find him nowhere . Perhaps he was out hunting ? His mouth watered as his belly grumbled for food . He shook it away practically forcing himself not to eat . Why exactly was he trying so hard not to eat ? Well that's a little story you might hear along the road . To calm his nerves the pup waddled over to a nice soft pair of colorful flowers and plumped down in front of them .
He eyed the flowers with curious eyes and after a couple seconds completely dunked his entire head into the sweet smelling flowers . " This outta keep my mind off of hunger for a while ." He woofed a little bit too loud .

Alala, the white omega, looked around for the pups. It was her job to make sure they didn't wonder far from camp and get into trouble. Her blue eyes scanned the camp clearing for the pup and she found him. Letting out a sigh of relief, she was glad he didn't leave the camp. Walking over to him, she spoke with her lighthearted voice and smiled, "Nero what are you doing over here?" When she came close to him she let out a gasp, "No Nero!" Alala knew nothing of flowers or green and she feared he would eat something bad. Yechta would be furious if he got sick like that. "If you want to bite something chew on a bone. Or we could play and get your mind of hunger, I'm sure the other will return with food soon."

Neros head shot up as the female approached him warning him to not chew on the strange flowers . He quickly backed away from them and hung his head low , " Im sorry Alala . I won't do it again ." He then twitched one of his ears as she mentioned there would be food soon . ' oh boy ' He grumbled silently . How on earth would he have to avoid not eating a single bit of food ? He shook his tiny head trying to clear his mind to think clearer .
That's when he had what he called ' a Big Bang ' In other words ' a great idea ' . Nero would silently slip away from the camp as they ate so nobody would bug him to eat . When he felt they were all done he would slip back in and act as if he had eaten by himself elsewhere ! He was so lost in thought that he hadn't realized he was practically drooling . He shook it off and pressed his nose to Alala's furry chest . Nero didn't really understand why he did this at times . He usually did it to wolves he liked and felt safe around . Odd ....

"It's okay Nero, you just need to be careful," Alala said with a warm voice. Watching with amused blue eyes, the pup began to become lose in thought and begin to drool. Letting out a cheerful giggle, Alala brought her paw to her muzzle. She stopped giggling when she felt a small head press against her chest. Looking down, she saw cute little Nero pressing his face into her fur. Lowering her head, she went to lick his head in a comforting manner. "Shall we go search for Comet? I'm sure she will want to join us. We could go on an adnverture around camp? Wrestle? Maybe tell some stories. I have a good one about a wolf and the one eyed bear."

Rueff dragged a fawn into camp. It wasn't much, he found it lost amongst the sea of flowers. He didn't want to stray too far from camp. He was afraid that Matana might waltz in at any time to ruin his life. So he dragged the sickly, limp little elk and dropped it within the clearing. He raised his sore neck to look around. Nero and Alala seemed to be the only ones in camp. Weird. But he didn't give it a second thought.
He trotted over to them, nuzzling Nero in the side. And his nose nudged bone. He went rigid, drawing his lips back to acknowledge Alala for the first time.
" You are supposed to take care of him! "
Rueff revealed his long, yellowed canines. If she didn't know what he was talking about, he'd rip her to shreds. She had one job, and she was starving Nero!
Honestly, Rueff was a bit over-protective of Nero. Seeing the pup-hood he never had in the pup. And protecting it with his life. At least he had brought a meal to fix this problem. If Alala survived it. He turned to Nero and scowled down at him. It wasn't all Alala's fault, but she was willing to blame her for it

Nero yipped happily when she mentioned Comet . He had almost forgotten she was a new pup they took in . He hadn't met her personally yet but he was excited on doing so . For once he didn't feel so alone . Just as he was about to bound off in search of her , Rueff entered the camp with his catch . He made his way over and nuzzled him on his side . After that things went a little down hill . Rueff scolded Alala for supposively not taking care of him properly . Nero shuddered a bit and hung his head low with shame .
It was his fault obviously , he was choosing not to eat and now Alala was getting blamed for it . His face saddened as he looked up at Rueff who was now glaring at him . If there was one thing good about Nero , it was his bravery . Even if it meant putting his life at risk little Nero was down to earth to protect any other wolf . So with that he sucked in a heap full of air and tried puffing his tiny fluffy chest out . He looked Rueff straight in the eyes and woofed " It's my fault Rueff ! Alala has no idea that I've been secretly skipping meals for a while now . Please don't blame her . If anything blame me ....." Nero tried hard to remain his eyes to Rueffs , but failed miserably . He let out a big sigh and buried his face into Rueffs belly whimpering " I'm sorry ....I'm really sorry please don't hate me..." . So ok maybe his ' bravery ' needed a little work . But at least he tried right ?

Alala's heart froze with fear as Rueff stormed over. Alala fell into a low shameful crouch so Rueff stood towering over her. Her tail was tucked between her legs and her ears flat against her skull. Lowering her blue gaze to the ground she listened as Rueff scolded her. To her surprise, Nero stood up for her, but he didn't have to fear getting his ear bitten off. Still, it was Alala's job to look after the pups and if Nero had been skipping meals she should have noticed and payed more attention. Feeling ashamed, Alala lowered her head even more and closed her eyes fearing the worst.

I haven't the slightest idea! Rueff turned away from Alala with a scoff. No bravery. Weak. She was just weak to the bone. She wasn't worth his time, or his effort. He softened for Nero though, who stood proud and tall (at least for the moment). At least he wasn't taking after her. It wasn't Nero's fault, he didn't know better. What does Alala do all day? She's supposed to watch the pups. And she didn't do it. " Nero, don't take the blame, " he shot Alala a foul look. " But why haven't you been eating? " |

Nero yipped happily knowing that Rueff wasn't mad at him . He looked up at him and widened his eyes a bit as he asked the question he was fearing to hear . He sat there in silence for a bit but finally managed to say , " I....." He stuttered not knowing if he should tell Rueff this ' Secret ' . Nero shook his fur and nudged for Rueff to follow him a short distance away from Alala and any others snooping around .
He looked around to make sure nobody was listening or watching and whispered , " ....Please promise me you won't tell anyone else ....she'll get mad at me .... She doesn't want me to eat ! It happened a couple days ago when I was talking to ....to .... To Mist about how I lost my mother ... She told me she knew a way for me to be able to see her . " he struggled for a bit as he felt his eyes swell up as he mentioned his mother who had sadly been taken away from him by a hunter . Nero dug his tiny claws into the earth and pushed back his emotions along with his memories and continued " She told me that if I didn't eat I would soon fall asleep and be with my mother again ....I don't understand how that works but...I ...I just wanted to see my mommy again..." His strong tone suddenly turned into a clump of sorrow .
Nero looked up at Rueff and reminded himself at how he wanted to be as strong as him one day , so he shook the feelings away once again and simply sat there gazing around hoping the white female Mist wasn't around .
(( Okay yes me and Mist actually spoke about this before . She said she wanted to stir things up by doing something crazy that would get her kicked out of the pack . She should be online tomorrow to continue this little 'plot' ))

He snarled, lowering himself down close to Nero, whispering to him between his teeth. " You stay away from her, OK? She wants you dead! " Rueff left Nero there and padded up to Alala, who was probably still cowering. He was in no mood for her submissiveness. " You do not take your eyes off him. Understood? Someone wants him dead " This was no time for his quarrels with the useless a Omega He had a vendetta to forfill PEOPLE: Nero, Alala

Alala watched as the two walked out of ear shot. Alala figured she could rise now, so she did. There was no point trying to stand up to Rueff, she had been placed as an Omega. There always must be one who is below all others and Alala's kind and gentle personality had placed her there. Thought, she was lucky really. Most of the pack saw her as an equal, only Rueff treated her like a real omega. Letting out a sigh, her white ears perked as she heard a loud shout come from Rueff. Her head quickly turned to find him storming in her direction. Quickly falling back into her weakly crouch she looked up at Rueff with fearful blue eyes. He was in a rage and it made Alala tremble, but so did his news. Quickly making her way over to the pup she greeted him with many licks on the head, "Nero are you okay? Let's get you something to eat okay."

Comet, the innocent pup that was recently taken in was sitting and eati a small chunk of meat. She heard the other wolves talking, but simply ignored then.. Until she heard her name.
She turned her head and started eevez dropping, as usual. She heard how.. Nero was his name? Yes Nero. Was not eating. She heard Rueff, the strong alpha male bark orders to Alala and made Comet shudder. She was sure glad that Rueff didn't pay attention to her.
She trotted over, she was still schooled from the terrible comments. "Hi!" She squeaked. She was a little younger then Nero, indeed. And much shorter. "I'm Comet!" She barked. She the. Leaned close to his face and murmured in his ear, "does someone really want you dead?" Shock was clinging in her vocals.

Neros eyes widened as Rueff whispered the words ' Dead ' . He struggled to take in what the male had just told him but nodded slyly as he watched Rueff storm off . He sat there in dismay as he repeated the words over and over again in his little mind . He didn't even bother realizing Alala and Comet rushed over to him asking him if he was ok or if it was true that ' somebody ' really did want him dead ... Nero let out a small whimper but decided to not show his weakness now . Of course he was scared , a bit too scared actually , but that didn't mean he was about to let Mist kill him !
Nero quickly snapped back to reality and looked up at Alala with expressionless eyes and woofed " I'm okay ....but ... I'm not really that ....hungry .." He seemed to have murmured the last part . He was practically used to not eating anymore ! Poor Nero . He sighed and then looked over to Comet who with worried eyes asked him if it was true . He nodded a simple nod . Suddenly Nero felt as if his paws were begining to give up on him , his vision blurred and he struggled to maintain his balance . After a couple seconds he crashed to the earth below and let a calm darkness sweep over his entire body .
( He only passed out from lack of food so don't think he's dead xD )

Comet, in shock jumped to her paws and darted off to find Yechta. "Stay with him, ok - Alala?" She said over her shoulder. She kept running, as far as her stubby little legs could carry her. She pick upturn pace with every bound.
She finally arrived at the shamans den. "Yechta! Yechta! Yechta!" She squealed. "C'mon! Nero needs your help, NOW!" She shrieked, she was sure he only passed from the lack of food, but he still needed tending too. "Yechta, please hurry!" She called.

Alala knew that not eat would not be aloud. Not sure how long he had been passing on meals, she knew she had to get something in his body. Her blue eyes turned to Comet as she approached the group. Letting out a sigh she turned back to Nero and was about to start directing him towards the kill that Rueff brought back to camp, but then he fell to the ground. Letting out a gasp of fear she turned towards the kill. "Comet go get Yechta! She needs to give something to strengthen his body! Quickly!" Running over to the kill she ripped some meat from the dead body and chewed it. Running back to Nero she slowly began to put the chewed food in his mouth. She needed water to help it flow down his throat. Using her great speed she gathered moss and soaked it in water. Running back to Nero, she put the water in his mouth and rubbed his throat. "Come on Nero, come on!" Alala wasn't thinking about what Reuff would do to her, her mind was focus on Nero. She was greatly concerned for the pup and only cared if he would get better.
