Silverpaw scented some prey closeby, and nodded crouching toward the nearest scent 'mouse'. The apprentice crawled closer and thr house was in reach but darted to the left. Not giving up Silverpaw rushed forward and snatched it, but fell into a bush. She came out with the mouse in her jaws and leaves all in her fur.

Stormpaw stood down wind from prey and decided to stalk towards it. A vole was eating with it's back turned towards the tom so he rushed in and pounced on it. He bit it quickly and picked it up. Stormpaw brought it to where he started from and buried it. Then turned for more.

Stormpaw smiled his thanks and searched on. He caught scent of a prey's trail then began to follow it to see where it lead. The younger apprentice noticed the scent was becoming fresher and looked up to see a rabbit munching on something up ahead. Here it goes... He dropped to his crouching position and stalked his prey until he got close enough to pounce on it. His prey seemed to catch his scent when the wind changed direction though Stormpaw wasn't about to lose the rabbit. He dug into the earth with his claws and dashed over to it as it started to head away; quickly he leaped and pinned it to the earth shortly before giving it a killing bite to the throat. There. Another to take back.

Silverpaw ventured out more, catching the scent of another mouse. The apprentice crawled slowly toward it, but it darted off, unseeable. Mouse-dung! I can't go back empty pawed.. the apprentice thought, and ventured on until she found another scent, bird. She saw it pecking the ground in a grassless area so she snuck around a small bush, and jumped at it raking her claws on its wing, biting it's back with victory. She came back and buried it near all the other catches prey.

Stormpaw finished burying the rabbit with the other of his prey and looked over at Silverpaw. "Hey, Silverpaw? When do you think we should head back with the prey?"

Silverpaw looked at the prey, and nodded, "We sure did get a lot, what do you think?" She sat down seeing the prey, FireClan should be happy! She thought.

||You mean FireClan? || Stormpaw gave a shrug. "Let's not hunt more than we can take back," He suggested and glanced at the places the prey were buried. "I think we could probably hunt one more each to take back otherwise we might have bitten off more than we can chew."

((Oh the other Roleplays have gotten to me now! Thanks for the point-out))
Silverpaw nodded an agreement, and walked off to find more. I believe I scent another mouse, she thought and spotted the creature just under a small bush. Silver crawled slowly towards the critter, glad the wind was facing her, she was close and pounced, clawing it's neck to bite where it's neck and back meet. the tabby brought it back, wondering if Stormpaw was back yet.

There was no time to lose, for Stormpaw set his mind to a task that needed to be completed. He needed to catch at least one more piece of prey though he didn't know what it would be. As he walked along he felt the wind shift in his direction and hopped out of the way of it by hiding in the tall grass. Stormpaw stuck his muzzle out and sniffed for any sign of prey. Thankfully a vole's scent was waved across his nose by the wind. He walked into the breeze to have his scent heading away from the little creature so he wouldn't notify it of his presence. Sure enough the vole was ahead of him about four fox lengths ahead. Hearing his stomach grumbling he decided to make this quick so he dropped into his hunting position and then began stalking forward. His paws carried him swiftly as he stalked forward then it came time for him to make his move. He leaped on the vole with his claws unsheathed and his teeth bared. Stormpaw then held it's throat until the creature became limp without any sign of life. Satisfied, he carried it back over to Silverpaw with a nod. "There, I think that should be enough. Should we take these back to camp now?" He asked her and waited for her response before digging up the other of his prey.

Silverpaw looked at all the prey and nodded, "This is quite a lot, we did great work, may be enough for one hunt," she agreed, picking some of the prey up in her teeth. She waited for Stormpaw to pick up any prey, and that she'd follow him to camp to put the prey in the pile.

He gave a nod, "You're right. I hope whoever eats something I caught thinks it tastes alright." And with that Stormpaw grabbed as much as he could and started padding toward the camp. As he arrived he placed the prey down at the pile and looked over at Silverpaw. "That should be the last of it."

Silverpaw nodded as she placed the prey she has into the fresh-kill pile, wanting to wait for one to pick prey up, but deciding it was a younger apprentice thing. "We sure did well, all the prey will taste like freshly catches from CloudClan," the apprentice mewed, slightly hungry.

Stormpaw looked at the prey and then at his stomach as it grumbled. "Want to eat one?" He asked Silverpaw as he turned his gaze over toward her.

Silverpaw's mouth watered, and she nodded immediately. "I'll have this nice vole, it looks decent," she mewed, grabbing the vole before walking a ways and sitting down, waiting for Stormpaw's pick.
