Meet the den mates! (Open to apprentices)

Rainpaw padded into the apprentices den. Letting the new scents of hr denmates wash over her, she let out a quiet purr and padded to an empty nest. The sound of rustling alerted the gray and white apprentice "Hello?" She meowed, letting a hint of curiosity edge her voice

Hearing a voice Mothpaw turned to see Rainpaw. "Hello!" He greeted back. "It's Mothkit, I got my ceremony, and you got yours as well, right Rainpaw?" He inquired. "How ya settling in?" Rainspark

"I'm great! You?" She asked

"Very good! Made a lot of new friends. Getting along pretty well with my brother recently. Haven't started training yet but my mentor did seem a little.. off." He shrugged. "Gone out training yet?" Rainspark

The grey apprentice couldn't help but want to welcome the new apprentices into the den. It wasn't that long ago that she had become and apprentice herself, but she still felt that it was mandatory to open a small welcoming party for them, even if it was just these two. She had seen Mothpaw at his ceremony, the other being Rainpaw. She knew that she shared a mentor with Mothpaw.
She lifted herself up to her paws, sauntering over discretely from the other side of the den. "Sorry about Dog, he's a little far away if you catch my drift. I've only had one training session with him. Actually, he didn't even tell me we were having one. I'd keep an eye out for him." She drawled, making a small grunting noise as she realized she was getting off topic.
"Ah, erm...I'm Floodpaw!" She grinned cheekily at the two of them and sat down a tail-length away from either of them.

The gray and white she-cat took in what the other apprentice had said, and nodded "I'm Rainpaw, but I figure you knew that already. How's life treating you?" She meowed casually

Duskpaw slipped into the apprentice's den, the edges of the entrance brushing her sunlight-warmed fur.
"Hi, I'm Duskpaw." she greeted, dipping her head in a friendly yet respectful way to her three fellow apprentices.

"You have some new faces. I don't think I've seen you three before." she added. "What are your names?" Duskpaw curled her tail up, delighted at the prospect of meeting potential friends. She hoped they would think she was being friendly. She hated the idea of cats thinking she was unfriendly.

"I'm Rainpaw. My mentor is Loneblaze. Who is your mentor?" The grey and silver she-cat mewed, also glad to get to know some new faces

"Oh, my mentor's Moonshine. She's great!" replied Duskpaw. "Has Loneblaze shown you the old TreeClan camp yet?"

"Old TreeClan camp? I'll ask him! Would you mind telling me what the old TreeClan camp is though?" The young she-cat's eyes sparkled with fierce curiosity, and with a thirst for knowledge

Duskpaw tried to exactly recall what the silver tabby she-cat had told her. "It's a quarry." she meowed finally. "It's hidden in the foliage. Now it's a heap of vines and overgrown plants... It was destroyed by the 'Great Fire'."

[Rainspark]

Rainpaw's eyes widened "Can you tell me about the great fire?" She asked, growing more interested in what her fellow apprentice had to say

"I'm afraid I can't tell you much more." Duskpaw replied. "Moonshine said it was before she was born, so that's probably why we don't know that much. Beechstar helped though. But's that about all I know." she added.

[Rainspark]

"Oh..." Rainpaw's face fell, and she stared at her paws

"Maybe we can visit the elders and ask them to tell us more!" Duskpaw brightened up.
