Bluekit was curled up in her warm nest. Her long white and gray fur fluffed out. This is where she was most of the time or outside the nursery hiding in the shadows. The tiny bright blue eyes kit was shy, and wasn't into having many friends. She stayed quiet and to herself. She stood up and quickly run her pink tong down her fur. She slowly made her way to the exit, hoping no one would stop her. She was going through the exit when she walk into someone. She let out a squick and lowered herself down backing up.

Palekit trotted back into the nursery after finishing a meal. Well, she tried to trot back into the nursery. Bumping into the other kit, she hopped back with a giggle. "Sorry about that. I'm clumsy." Palekit meowed, padding closer to Bluekit. Why is she cowering? "Who are you? I don't think I've met you before." the she-kit said, and lowered herself down like Bluekit. She faced her acquaintance, her body smushed against the ground. "Well?"

The siamese she-cat looked down at her paws. She heard the cat giggle but didn't dare left her blue eyes up to face her. She was asking for her name. Bluekit didn't say a word at first, but the cat seemed to be getting impatient. The white and gray kit didn't want to be yelled at so she replied with her name. "Bluekit." Her voice came of soft and quiet, barely hearable.

Palekit twitched an ear. She hardly caught the name. Bookit? Brookit? She shook her head to herself. Neither of those names made sense. But, they did sound like... Oh! Bluekit! She thought, assuming that's what the kitten meant. "Well hi Bluekit! My name is Palekit!" She said, still in the lowered postion like Bluekit. "Why are you crouched down like this?"

Bluekit looked up her blue eyes widen in suprise. The kit understand her when she spoke quietly, she barely could hear herself. She gave a small nod when Palekit said her name. She noticed that Palekit lowered herself to match her position. She just shrugged her shoulders and looked back down at her paws before standing up without answering her. She sat there without looking at her but stayed there.
