DelugeIt had been a few moons now sense Vaughn was exiled from the territory of Rockclan and even more sense his mother brought him and his siblings to the territory of Rockclan from Treeclan when they were nothing more than kits. But it had been about a moon now sense his mother his real mother passed away the the side of Cloudclan and the warrior had to admit it had him in a bit of a slump.
Vaughn shook his head as he awoke from the den in which he rested and he sighed lifting his head. Letting out one more yawn, he padded out of his den and winced as the sun blinded him. Shaking his head he padded forward and sniffed the icy cold air for any scent of prey. Now that leaf-fall was here and the snow had fallen prey was scares but there was always something.
When he caught a whiff of a mouse, he stalked forward and pounced on it and then once it was killed he sank his fangs into it and took a bit of the meat. Chewing it up enough to swallow, he looked around and then flicked his brown ears stopping. "I smell you, however I don't see you.. who are you?"

Since her squabble with a few less than kind DeathClanners a few moons back, Deluge had done her very best to stray far from the unruly feral cats. True, she had reeked of kittypet at the time, but the feline, save for her eyes (which were a very vibrant blue) was close to the mirror image of her littermate- her brother, whom she had hoped to find on her journey into the wilderness.
She had been unsuccessful in her mission. And she was alone.
Well, so she had thought.
Slamming her paw down on a mouse that had happened her way, she snapped her head in the direction of the voice, in search of an assailant. It didn't sound hostile, but deception, she had learned, was a very tricky thing.
Tilting her head, Deluge flicked her tail. So what if she was naive?
"Deluge. Who are you?" she called out.

"My name is of no matter, but if you must know strange cat. I am Vaughn. I smell you and you smell nothing of Deathclan, rather more kitty-pet. What in Darkpools name are you doing on this territory, I suggest you leave now or I will have to get the leader to deal with you. We do not take kindly to outsiders specially of your species." he said and stalked forward.
Vaughns dark brown figure finally showed and his forest green eyes stared at her with no emotion.

"Of my species?"
Deluge pointedly sat down, to perhaps show that she was not going anywhere.
"You make it sound as though I am something not akin to you."
She, in nature, was good-hearted, but also bold and strong-willed. Although she did not convey any sign of hostility, she raised her chin in subtle defiance.
"I have heard of your leader, and know that I am not afraid." she challenged. "And besides, although I lived among two-legs for most of my life, I have been here long enough to know that DeathClan is a mix of outcasts. Do you deny that?"

"I wish you were not. Cat or not, you live with the vile two-legs that doesn't make a cat in my book just .. I don't even know what it is. Its un right is what it is." he said and then sat down and stared her in the eyes. His forest green eyes narrowed and he slid his claws out in case of any issues that had to be resolved. The tom listened to her logic and blinked "Not afraid of the great Drought, what in Darkpools name is wrong with you cat?!" he yowled out and then narrowed his eyes.
"No I can not deny it, but you must prove yourself to me before I ever accept you as a cat."

"Like I would ever need your acceptance," she challenged. "And besides. What would I have to prove to you?"
Deluge blinked. Was this cat blind? Or just a little slow? Deluge tilted her head. She had her suspicions that the great leader they had spoken of could be the Drought she remembered from kittenhood, but then again, it was just a name, and could have been mere coincidence.
And besides, how would she even get close enough to Drought to be sure? The cats that had attacked her before had threatened to take her to their leader, but had left her out in the swamp, injured and frightened. Because I don't actually know what's going on or if she's met Drought or if he wants to plot or whatever but you know
