A small, near-completely white kit sat just inside the entrance to the nursery, his icy stare surveying the icy land that lay outside the den. He had only left the warmth of the nursery once, and he'd found the chill to be a welcome difference from the usual stuffiness that came with living in a confined area with multiple cats. As he thought about stepping out again, he heard the soft sound of a pawstep just behind him. He turned, his curious stare the only thing giving away the inquisitiveness he felt at the sound. "Hello?" he called out, his voice low so as to only carry for several tail lengths, and slightly confined as opposed to the usual loud and boisterous behavior of kits. |

Redkit was simply lying behind Blackkit, in the shadows. Watching him, seeing if he would do anything interesting. He appeared to be simply be staring outside. Then suddenly the kit stared at her. Redkit assumed he couldn't see her because she was laying in the shadows. Her red pelt wasn't glaring, rather a calm darker color. "Yo." She called back. "I'm here."

Blackkit's gaze focused on the faint outline of another cat, lying in the shade provided by the nursery roof. He wondered for a moment how he'd heard her, if she were simply lying down, but did not ponder on it long. "Oh, hello," he called, trying to better make out the cat's features. "I didn't notice you there; have you been here long?" he asked, rotating his body so that he faced the other kit, his icy gaze becoming more curious.

Redkit lifted her head and her amber eyes practically sparkled as she smirked. "Yep. I've been kind of watching you. And of course you didn't notice me, I'm a master of stealth!" She puffed out her little chest, as if it made her more intimidating.

Blackkit gave a small smile at this, though it was rather brief. "A master, huh?" he said, tilting his head curiously. "Well, that's pretty impressive. My name's Blackkit, by the way," he added, not sure whether or not the other cat knew him. "And you are?"

Nervously, Glowkit padded over to the two kits that she saw chatting. They both looked younger than her, but she couldn't be sure. They seemed so much so mature. She didn't know why she wanted to talk to them, but she did. So, on a whim, she just said "Hey, I'm Glowkit! Who are you guys?"
