"Maybe he is." Cloudspirit agreed. "But that's different... You're their aunt, not mother, and they're not in IceClan so it's a little easier. I'm no too worried about it I guess, worst case scenario I have to deal with a grumpy kit."

The kits just don't understand that." she hissed and then narrowed her eyes "Besides, you don't have the guts to cheat." she mewled and then narrowed her eyes "What do you mean by that?"

"That's why I've decided after our break up I will never ever have another mate. Ashmist is off the market, and forever." she declared and watched him for his reaction.

Cloudspirit stared at her in shock. "Y-You would never take another mate?" Cloudspirit asked. "... Not even me?" He added quietly. Cloudspirit looked at her with sad eyes, and knew that if what she said was true, he might as well just go to Fireclan. After all, there would be no other reason for him to stay, considering his kits were growing up, and really didn't need him anymore.
