So not long after her first born daughter being named a apprentice she found out that she had broken her promise about being nice to her father at least once. Her lynx-like tail lashed with anger as she padded forward toward the apprentice den leaving Badgerkit napping in the nursery. She poked her head in and smiled at three of her kits then saw Whitepaw and narrowed her dark blue eyes.

"Whitepaw, I need to have a chat with you. Come out here. Now. Were going for a walk." she said and pulled her head out of the den waiting for her.

Whitepaw heard her name being called. She gave a sigh. "I'll be back later, guys." She stood up, walking out of the den. "What?" she asked, lashing her tail. She was of warrior age now, and she would be getting her warrior ceremony anytime.

"Don't you give me that tone missy. I heard what you did, why did you lie to me I told you to be nice to your father once! Is that to hard to ask for?!" she questioned glaring down at her kit. Warrior aged or not, she was still younger then her there-fore able to be in trouble. She blinked her dark blue eyes and sighed "Look, Whitepaw I get you don't like him and all, but he loves you to death.. let him see the nice side I see at least once please."

"It is! You don't understand how I feel! Don't pretend you do! You can't control my life, Mother! It's my life! I'm almost a warrior! I need to make my own choices!" she snapped back. "I'm twelve moons old. You can't keep treating me like I am one moon old!" she said. "I don't want to. He doesn't deserve it."

Anger flared up in her eyes and her fur bristled. "Whitepaw don't act like a little brat! Twelve moons or one moon you are still my child! I want you to respect your father, sure hes a cheating mouse-brained fool but he is your father and you are to accept that!" she hissed and arched her back. "He may not deserve it but you can at least pretend! The last thing he wants is to be hated by his kits for his foolish actions!"

"I am not going to do it! You can't control my actions! I'm old enough to do things on my own! Stop telling me what to do! Stop calling me a brat for thinking the way I do!" she spat back, lashing her bristling tail. Whitepaw snorted. "I won't pretend to like him for his pleasure! He will have to deal with how I want to act." she growled. "I'm done with this conversation." The black and white cat turned, walking away.

The dark warrior glared at her darker and growled lashing her tail from to side "I'm not telling you what to do but I'm trying to help you don't want you regretting anything later on in your life Whitepaw!" she hissed and then the sighed and shook her head "What ever I give up, but I see a scratch on your father, and I will come at you. Don't attack him with nothin more then words." she said and then turned walking back to the nursery.

No promises there. But, Whitepaw couldn't keep her mouth shut. With anger and fury, now not just at her father, but at her mother, bubbling in her, she snapped. "Why do you care about him so much after what he has done to you!?" she shouted.

She stopped and sighed "Because besides Badgerclaw he's the only one to ever truly love me.. Come to think of it Badgerclaw didn't really love me either. Only he did. Hes the only one to care about me in this unforgiving world." she mewled and looked down at the ground as she sighed. "I'm sorry Daughter."

Whitepaw snorted. "You may love him, but I won't. Not unless I have to be dragged through dark pool." she meowed, lashing her tail.
