        Badgerkit felt a little left out at she lay in the middle of camp. She was the only one in her litter who hadn't moved on to the apprentice den. She guessed it wasn't so bad, she got more time to spend with her mother but she felt a sad pang when all of her siblings left her for something better. The black she-cat looked exactly like her mother except she had neither her dad nor her mothers eyes. However she looked tons like her mothers best friend Badgerclaw. Which was where her name came from. 

        She sat in the middle of camp and sighed softly, she'd managed to escape while he mother slept and she knew it wouldn't take long to find one thing to kept her busy. But as she lay, she felt more bored then before and hardly even hungry. She lay there, bathing in the sun and felt tired. Badgerkit looked around with her head on her paws and sighed once again. Would this day look up at all?

Whitepaw was just entering camp, her jaws holding a squirrel. She had snuck out, but Fei'lan had caught her. Luckily, he didn't make her come back. In return for their talking, she decided she'd catch something. The black and white she-cat just dropped the dead thing in the pile when she noticed Badgerkit. She flicking her tail, half wonder if she should talk to the she-cat.

She probably noticed me, anyway.

Badgerkit watched as a figure moved into the camp and dropped prey on the diminishing prey pile. She really wanted to go over to Whitepaw and say hi but she was extremely too shy to go say anything. In fact, she really just wanted to go hide.

Whitepaw was tempted to just leave, but then she was reminded about how she treated her other siblings. She gave a loud, almost annoyed sigh, and she walked over. "What are you doing?"

PYXIS ★

[meh, lazy.]

Badgerkit winced and she looked over at the white and black she-cat and instantly wanted to hide. She looked up at her sister and felt like she was keeping her from something.

I'm.. letting.. uhm.. i'm letting mom rest. She stuttered.

[Shiro]

trouble.

"Why?" she asked. "She shouldn't have hard work now that all-well, almost all of us are out of her hair. Are you causing trouble?"

I'm not as big as you but.. mommy still likes me.. She trailed, I'm not causing trouble, she just frets over you guys. All the time. She worries about you constantly.

The she-cat looked down at her paws and fiddled with them. She couldn't help being nearly an apprentice and her siblings being warriors already. It was crazy. Were they overshadowing her?

Whitepaw gave a scoff. "Still likes. She doesn't like us, hmm? Shouldn't say I'm not surprised." She was in love with our father. She has a bad taste in who she likes anyway. "Well, tell her to stop. We can take care of ourselves." she meowed, flicking her tail.

Badgerkit mentally face palmed herself as she listened to her own words in her head.

Er.. that's not.. that's not what I meant. I mean she likes you more then me because you're growing up. I know you can take care of yourself, as well as our siblings. She worries about you more then me because i'm the runt. Who loves the runt? She meowed, looking up at her sister.

Whitepaw gave a harsh laugh. "Ashmist doesn't love me. She's always mad at me for speaking my mind about Cloudspirit. She desperately wants me to love him, but I don't want to love him. He's evil. Bad. Awful. I could go on and on."

Perhaps it was for the best that you did. I agree with you though. He's horrible. She meowed, looking up at her sibling.

Badgerkit looked up at her and nodded her head.

We couldn't have come from somebody else who loved our mom and didn't cheat on her huh. She mused, looking at the blue eyed she-cat.

She snorted. "I'd rather have no father."

Badgerkit nodded and looked at her sister. Oh how she liked her more then the rest.

"Well that might come true. Cloudspirit is moving to Fireclan to raise his other kits and make more with that queen. She meowed, hate burning in her eyes.
