P/Lotus

[Sageleaf]

Sagefur peered around the warrior's den, and her eyes settled on a familiar cat. "Hey Lotus." She said, walking up to the cat. "Remember me?"

"Mmhmm?" Lotuspetal was paying no attention at all, busy digging some muck out from her claws. "Yes, hi Splashstream. You sound very calm today. Did you eat something wrong?" Lotuspetal finally got the dirt out of one claw, time for the next one. Lotuspetal was very patient with these things.

[Sageleaf]

"Uh.... I'm not splashstream, I'm sageleaf." Sage replied, unsure of how to respond to the cats careless aura.

"Hmm?" Lotuspetal looked up. "Oh hi!" Lotuspetal smiled. "Nice name."

(I'm gonna base this off my memory of sage, which is like, barely anything)

[Sageleaf]

(Yeah, sorry, same for me xD I think we met once.)

"Thanks!" said Sage, examining the cat. Maybe she hadn't seen this cat before. She looked closely, and realized she had confused this cat with one of her many sisters. Well, this is awkward. "Sorry, I got you confused with someone else..."

"You got my name right." Lotuspetal laughed. "SO who are you again? Sagefur, I think?"

[Sageleaf]

Sage almost laughed at the cat's nonchalant attitude, but she covered it with a cough just in time.  "Almost.  It was Sagefur, but I recently just got it changed to Sageleaf." explained Sage.  She'd always wanted the name of Sageleaf and had finally gotten permission to change her name to the one she so desired.  Her name change wasn't widely known though, so she often replied to Sageleaf, Sagefur, or Sage, all the same.  "Or you can just call me Sage if you'd like.  People call me all sorts of different things."  she explained to the uninterested warrior

"That's nice." Lotuspetal smiled. "How's life going?" Lotuspetal's own life hadn't been much. Just boring stuff and sleep. Not much to be interested in.

[Sageleaf]

"Life's veen okay lately, just talking to warriors and getting sick, you know, the usual." Sage couldn't help a smile.

Lotuspetal nodded.
"I suppose you have whatthe others are having, hmm?"

[Sageleaf]

Sage nodded. "Yep, most likely. It's just a cold for the moment, though I can feel it worsening by the day."

"You know, you should go to the medicine cat if it feels bad..." Lotuspetal mewed. "Wanna go hunting?"

[Sageleaf]

"Well... I did just get back from her....and I guess I do feel a little bit better...sure, let's go hunting!

Lotuspetal smiled. She bounded out the entrance, she fur brushing Sageleaf's. She decided to take a small snack of an extremely small mouse. Eating that up, she stopped at the entrance and looked back.

Sage followed, excited to be doing something productive for a change, instead of lounging around camp doing nothing. Smiling, she grabbed a scrawny rabbit out of the pile- not having eaten in a while- and bounded to Lotuspetal.
