i've never known a man who loved me | Berrypaw puffed out her chest proudly. Berrywish. It was a pretty girly name, but she didn't mind too much. I wonder how Ashmist will feel now! We're all grown up without her! Hah! She was sad, of course, even if she didn't show it. She missed having a mother, even it she was angry. She trotted over to her siblings. we all hide behind masks  Badgerpaw looked at her two siblings who'd been named warriors already. Berrywish, Snowfall and Whiteshadow? How grown up! She couldn't believe she was finally an apprentice along with Dustypaw and it felt good to not be the youngest anymore. She looked over at her newly named siblings and stayed more towards the outskirts of the ceremony. Berrywish had run over to Whiteshadow and Snowfall but Badgerpaw didn't feel like celebrating with her.
The she-cat looked around for Thornfrost before standing on the edges, deciding whether or not to go over to her siblings. Badgerpaw still mourned for the loss of her mother but now that Thornfrost was her mentor, she knew that she'd at least have a little closing with her mother. Maybe Thornfrost would take Badgerpaw to visit Ashmist on the border line.

Silverkit watched "What about me?" She thought. Silverkit knew she was 6 moons, but she didn't care she wasn't called. She just called the names of the cats that were called happily.

Thornfrost watched the apprentices earn their names proudly, though it was not an entirely cheerful moment. Ashmist should have been there instead of him. "Berrywish, Snowfall, Whiteshadow!" He cheered warmly. He'd have to check on them later though, as now he had his own apprentice to be greeting. With a cheerful purr Thornfrost trotted to Badgerpaw, bowing his head to touch her nose. "Excited? You'll catch up to your siblings in no time."

Meltingpaw- no, Meltingstone- walked over to the warriors, her face almost shining with pride. She had waited for this day ever since her best friend, Shiverwind, became a warrior.

Wow, looked like there were a lot of new warriors today. There was even one new Clan member - Mudvayne. The calico was fairly sure that IceClan took in more outsiders than any other group at this point; that was a little worrying for several reasons, but it wouldn't stop him from being happy for the new she-cat. Maplefrost cheered all of the promoted felines' names from where he sat near the elders' den.
