@drought
The patched she-cat drifted further into the camp, one paw after the other she aimlessly padded on. Her long banner was swaying as the soft wind brushed her fur. She took a yawn and continued on.
It was just about sun down, the sky solely faded into mysterious colors of pink and orange that chased away the baby blue. Clouds roamed over head, promising rain. Twisted sighed, her haunches lowered so she could fall Into an elegant sit. She curled her tail around her bi-colored paws and licked her chest. It was a nice day today, but she hadn't done much. With a shrug the youngling glanced ahead, a large male emerged from what seemed to be no where. He had a white pelt with patches of black. His eyes glowed in some shade of amber. Ah, it was Drought.
Twisted gave a grin, she as quite fond of her leader. He was her role model. She was still surprised she wasn't brutally forced from the rogue pack because of her shrimp-ish size and twisted back paw from birth. But, perhaps it was in the fault of the leader. "Hello, Drought," The feline meowed respectively once the leader was in hearing range. "How was your day today?"

| 200-ish words is ok, but this post will be really short since my laptop's almost out of power. Also, as a note: remember that DeathClan doesn't have a real camp. It just has a main clearing. |
Drought liked to roam in the early evening; there was usually some prey still out and about. He'd had success in hunting earlier - the crimson stains around his muzzle were proof of that. With a full stomach, the patched tom happened to pass through the area where he made announcements on his way back to his den. A cat happened to be sitting there.
The pleasantries made him grimace mentally… but he responded anyway, fairly calm since he'd had a good meal. "Fine enough, I'd say. Are you waiting here for somebody?"

|| So sorry. I was just Roleplaying as a clanner ||
The patched leader approached the bi-spotted she-cat. His muzzle was stained a shade of crimson red and his ivories were tinted as well, he has just had some meal. "That's good," she put on before shaking her head in responce to waiting. "No, I just woke. I have been getting an abnormally large amount of sleep lately," she meowed. She really needed to spend time doing more useful things when she normally fell into a trance.

"Hmm… I hope you're not feeling ill," commented the leader. He'd scented traces of whitecough the last time he'd visited the TreeClan border, and the last thing they needed was an outbreak of sickness among their group. Then again, he was probably getting worried about nothing. Maybe Twisted was just feeling tired.
He sat down nearby before speaking again. "I heard about what happened in Twolegplace. The river is clean once again, and for that you have my gratitude."

The bi-colored she-cat grinned. "I can assure you, I am doing just fine," she meowed with a flick of her tail. "Why? Has sickness been going around?" She asked, with a concern.
Oh, the river! She had remebered that now, but it had been a couple weeks ago and it seemed everyone forgot about it. "It was my pleasure, but I was just a helping hand, really." She only falowed Artemis* orders, but she came up with the idea how to move them, even if it was life threatening.

| I think my Drought muse is back now; sorry for the wait. Anyway… did you mean Artemis? Vaughn wasn't in charge of the river plot. |
"No, not exactly. It isn't anything to be concerned about," Drought responded with a twitch of his torn ears. TreeClan's problems were their own. If this just so happened to weaken the squirrel-like felines… well, what a fortunate coincidence.
Curling his tail around his paws, the American Shorthair shifted to make himself a bit more comfortable. "Artemis only briefed me on the result of that mission, so I'm afraid I don't know the details. Did you run into any trouble in Twolegplace?"

|| My bad! Sorry, I corrected that. I was never good with remembering names.. ||
The she-cat nodded. If Deathclan had no illness, then it was all fine. "Trouble.. Not much. We did run into rats, they were feisty little beasts! But, we took care of them.. At one point," she concluded with a shrug. The rats did put on a show, it hurt - and scars could still be picked out through the dark fur of Twisted.

DeathClan had always had a tricky history with rats. They swarmed the forest on occasion, which usually caused quite a mess. Maybe it was time for the cats to go on the offensive and hunt them down. But then, a cornered rodent could be dangerous…
"I hope you cleaned any wounds you received from them. Rat bites can lead to nasty infections. Aside from that, though, was there anything else? Problems with Twolegs, perhaps?"
