"Absolutely!" he puffed, looking at the tom now. He'd never have guessed it; Lightkit looked almost smaller than him. "You'd better not become a warrior way before us!!" He was hoping that he could accompany the very few kits he knew through apprenticehship and into warriorhood. He didn't know how likely that was, though.

"And you better not melt in this rain."  I poked a paw at the mucky puddle for emphasis.  "I'd drown if I were forced to swim."  I shivered and gave a little frown.  I looked over at Lightkit and gave a silly smile.  "We're gonna catch up to you before you even know what hit you!"

"Are you now?" Lightkit stated, a light smirk etching its way onto his face. "Well, seeing as I'm practically a warrior already, it's going to take a lot of effort," the pale tabby tom said, the slightest hint of sarcasm accompanying the playful tone in his voice. "But, well, I'll see what I can do-- I'm sure whoever my lucky mentor is, they won't mind keeping me around 'till you two manage to catch up"

He scoffed, snorting and flicking his tail. "I've never seen a warrior quite your size," he sassed, making an almost smarmy expression. "At least you're confident in yourself, even if you are a teasing kinda guy," Spiderkit huffed, puffing up his fur and shuffling closer to the other two. "For a little guy, you sure are warm," he grumbled quietly, leaning against the golden-furred tom to leech his warmth.

I giggled at Lightkit.  "A warrior would eat you!"  I said, joking around lightly.  "We are all going to be the best warriors... to ever exist!"  My dramatic pause was all it took to send me smiling like sunshine.  I shuffled in closer, mimicking Spiderkit.  "If you could lend over some of your fur, that'd be great," I meowed while laughing my tail off.

Lightkit decided to ignore the 'Little Guy' remarks, since he was so generous and forgiving. He still wasn't a big fan of others pointing out his- uh, height issue. The pale tabby froze up for a second at the other two kits leaned against him, before relaxing into the touch, almost making the mistake of purring in content. Almost.
"Confidence and warmth just happen to be two of my many redeeming qualities," he said to Spiderkit, rolling his mossy green eyes playfully. "Oh, and I'm the warrior that is apparently planning on devouring me won't mind sparring you two my beautiful pelt," he continued in response to Freezekit.

"Sure," he mused, raising a brow at this boy's cockiness. "As are a pretty coat and a easy attitude are some of mine." He watched the golden kit curiously. What an odd fellow. "As pleasing as that sounds, I think I prefer your pelt with you still attached," he chuckled.

I snorted and rolled my eyes at Lightkit.  "You're older so, your fur is gonna get yucky and smelly before our's."  I stuck my tongue out and giggled.  "My only redeeming quality is my super sneaky abilities!"  My body lunged down and I looked around to both sides as if I was some secret spy on a mission.  I returned to sitting up and shook my head at his little statement, a mock shiver rattled down my spine.  "Ew, just imagine a bodiless pelt laying on the ground!  Yuck!"

"Whoa!" he cried, acting as if Freezekit had suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Just like a shadow!" he laughed, glad he was getting along with these two. "That sounds actually horrible." he shuddered. "A ragged old pelt.. One that probably smells of elders and bile," he wept, almost seriously distressed at the thought.

I gave a little wink and said, "I am the night!"  My aura of confidence disappeared as Spiderkit mentioned how horrible it would actually be to get a gross pelt.  "B-bile?  Uck!  I'm going to have Spidy help me dunk you in the river every day if you get that bad!"  I made a little gagging noise and shook my head as if it was a shame.  "Such a dark future for you Lightkit.  It must be hard being so much older than us, right?  Maybe it'd be easier if a warrior just gobbled you up and put you out of your misery!"

"'Spidy'," he mused, kind of happy to have a nickname. "I think being eaten is probably the better way for your future to go!" he laughed, flicking his tail merrily. "If my beautiful pelt was like that in the future.. I think I'd much rather be eaten too."

I smiled, pleased that Spiderkit didn't seem to dislike the nickname.  "Being eaten is over rated.  My bones are too cool for some cannibal to munch on!"  I whipped my tail and did a little pose.  "I can just be sent to FireClan!  That's where all the crazy cats are, right?  Mom, has told some wicked stories about over there!"

"Crazy cats in FireClan?" he snorted, tail whipping back and forth. "I've never heard that before! In fact, I know next to nothing about the other clans.." he mumbled, feeling a little embarassed. "I-I mean," he coughed. "Yeah!! Sounds about right!"

My mouth formed a little "o" and my eyes filled with shock.  "Does your mom not tell you scary stories?"  I shook my head in disbelief.  "No fair.  Am the only kit mom is scaring?  You really need to meet Lightfall."  I gave a grumpy sigh and whipped my tail.  "How about we play a scary game?"  My lips curved into a devilish grin.  "How about one person hides and then tries to scare the other when they come by their hiding spot?"

The pale golden tom's ears perked at the idea of a game, "that.. actually sound like it'd be pretty fun," Lightkit said, finding the idea rather interesting. I've certainly never played a game like it before, he thought, letting his tabby tail lash a bit. "I bet neither of you could scare me," he added cockily, smirking openly.
