Dawnkit was playing around in the nursery with a mossball, pretending to hunt. She pounced at the moss and clawed it lightly. The light brown tabby then heard a faint sound behind her, "You can come out kit I know your there," she mewed without looking.

"Aww man," blazekit mewed as he crawled out of the bushes. The ginger tabby was new and didn't really know anyone except mousefeather, so he wanted to meet other kits. "How did you know I was there?"

"Because you were making so much noise I'm surprised the whole camp isn't awake." She turned to face the other kit, he was small, younger than she was, so she smiled at the kit and mewed, "Anyway i'm dawnkit, what's your name."

The ginger kit stared at dawnkit, "I'm blazekit." He mewed, "Do you know a mousefeather by any chance?" He asked

Dawnkit was happy that she had somebody to talk to, she looked at blazekit and mewed, "I don't know a mousefeather, I only know my sisters willowkit and sagekit, also I know maplefrost and windflurry." She mewed.

"I know the elders, anyways, mousefeather is a really nice cat, she'd make a great mentor." He mewed to dawnkit. 'Maybe she'd be her mentor,' he thought.

Willowkit's ears pricked, hearing her sister Dawnkit mentioning her name. She stood up and get her chest a quick lick, smoothing sown the white fur. She padded over to her sister. "Hello." She mewed, and she looked at the cat named Blazekit. "I'm Willowkit, Dawnkit's sister." She said, her head cocked slightly to the right. "Dawnkit and I are supposed to be apprentices, but we didn't hear anything about our ceremonies. Who would you want to be your mentor? I want Shiverwind." She asked him, sitting down and wrapping her tail around her tiny paws neatly. She then turned her head ever so slightly to the left.

"Nice to meet ya, anyways, any mentor would do." Blazekit mewed to willowkit, he looked at the two cats and meowed, "Guys want to play or something?"

Waterkit walked into the den and sat down in her nest. She sighed. She had noting to do, no friends, and wanted to do something. She layer her head down giving up on finding something to do.
