Faithkit liked her siblings, and even the other denmates. But she hated her inability to speak. She often acted out on her bottled up anger, drawing concerns from her Clanmates. She was thankful Deadkit acted as a translator most of the time. And that the other kits didn't mind.
She never liked thinking about StarClan. They were, like her Clanmates would say, useless dead ancestors in the sky. They couldn't even cure her speechless throat. What good were they? But like her name, she kept faith.
And while every cat was stuck in the reality of the starlight, Faithkit remained in her Silence World. She hated it there. But it was no different than the other two worlds.
She just hoped the prophecy her siblings would talk about not-so-quietly wouldn't change the real her.

Darkkit couldn't tell what Faithkit wanted to say. Deadkit had a hard time discerning what she was feeling, since words lied.
Darkkit could always tell what emotions any cat was feeling. Deadkit was an expert at figuring out things that were left unsaid.
You couldn't lie to those two. This slightly freaked out most of the clan, these kits being lie detectors.
Still... They didn't brag about it. They mostly used their talent to help Faithkit communicate. However... They never said and gave anything of Faithkit's that she didn't want to.
They were good brothers like that.
Soon enough... Apprentice ceremonies arrived.
Darkpaw was apprenticed to a rather immature warrior who often brushed off negative remarks aimed at her, named Roseslash.
Darkpaw knew she was hurting inside. He didn't speak up for his mentor, or tell her he knew.
Deadpaw was apprenticed to a weak-willed warrior named Tinyheart. He was the runt of his litter when he was a kit and was extremely jumpy and incompetent. He was given this mentor, in hopes he would become weak.
Deadpaw was lonely. Thankfully, he wasn't so much since his siblings taught him what they learned in place of his mentor.

Faithpaw was given an arrogant and spiteful mentor named Thornhollow. The leader gave her such a mentor in hopes strength and skill would make up for her inability to speak. What they didn't see was Thornhollow actually becoming the cause of a deep depression and horrid anger. Everything was starting to darken in her Reality World.
The Silence World was still cold and grim as well.
The Dream World was filled with star light she now didn't like to see.
Slowly, Faithpaw was slipping.
((No, she won't slip.... I kinda like her....))

Darkpaw and Deadpaw were angry. Really, truly, angry.
Darkpaw was loved.
Deadpaw was hated.
Faithpaw was underestimated.
Deadpaw got his brother Darkpaw to agree with him. Thornhollow was a jerk. They begged the leader for Faithpaw to have a new mentor. He declined. So instead... Darkpaw told Deadpaw he'd attack Thornhollow. He knew his brother didn't need any more anything any cat could hold against him.
Darkpaw attacked Thornhollow. He managed to shred his ear and slash his nose. Thornhollow was angry and attacked Darkpaw straight back.
Thornhollow was taken off his mentoring and warrior duties. Deadpaw was blamed at first for Darkpaw's behavior, saying the 'demon' influenced him.
Darkpaw said that was not true. He did it of his own volition. Still... The clan began physically abusing Deadpaw.
The leader didn't do a thing.
Deadpaw was slowly becoming bitter. He was fully aware Faithpaw was beginning to slip as well.
He figured if it was going to go crazy from all this undeserved hatred.... Maybe he wouldn't be so alone.

Honeypaw thought of deadpaw and waterpaw as great friends. They had inspired her way for faithpaw to communicate with them. Hopefully it would work. Her plan was to have her draw shapes in the ground that meant words. For example a sun would be a circle with lines surrounding it. or ball would just be a circle. She truly wanted to hear what her littermate had to say. Suddenly she saw faith paw. 'Faith paw come here!' she shouted. This wouldn't work in the den where the floor was covered in moss. This meant that faithpaw would have to come out to her. Lucky faithkit came willingly. She looked into faithpaw's eyes. This had to work. 'I have a way for you to communicate with us!' she said. Faith paw seemed very excited about this. 'Ok, so say you want to play mossball. This is what you would do.' She said drawing out a picture of a mossball being thrown around by the kits. She made sure that her brother had seen this before erasing it. 'Now you try. Say whatever you want.' Honeypaw sat down and waited for her brother to finish drawing.
She had a really kind new mentor named foxlily who, like a lot of the clan, underestimated her. She would never say this out loud. Nor would she show all of her abilities unless needed. No one knew the full extent of her abilities. Not even her closeted of friends. She loved training with others. She didn't really want people to know that she could do better. It was something that she really wanted kept a secret. No one would ever learn. When leaf bare came she hunted alone at night and came back with a lot of prey. When the other cats woke up in the morning, they never knew how the extra prey had gotten there. All they knew was that they were grateful for it. When her warrior ceremony came she was named Honeydew. She had no complaints at all. Soon she also had an apprentice named silverpaw. She raised silverpaw to be the best warrior she could. None of this mattered to her though. Not really. She had to get the five together. She had to talk to them all. That is why she taught faith paw to draw to communicate with the others. She went into the den one knight and woke the other five. She took them to the edge of the lake where there was sand for faith and stated her problem. It saddened her at heart how the others were slipping away. Soon they would care of nothing. Nothing except their own lifes. She ended up thinking about this at the meeting she had called with the five cats. Water paw had become waterlily. She was the only one that had the same intentions as Honeydew. At this meeting she saw how Honeydew was growing to depressed about the group to do anything. At this time she decided to share her prophecy. Hopefully it would bring the group back together. 'Apart will fall the five saviors, until they see the light inside. The light shall shine to bring them back. It is in the heart, That they will find, The light shall lead then, It shall shine.' Waterlily recited her prophecy slowly. When she was done she was glad to see that they all had at least listened.

Of course, with new techniques and strategies to cope with her muteness, Faithpaw was getting better and better. Sometimes the drawing in the sand didn't work to well when she tried to say "hungry" and make a mouse. The mouse looked like a fox, and instantly the hole Clan was panicked into thinking Faithpaw(with her sharp hearing and eyesight) saw one. That didn't end well, and it had taken all four of her friends to convince ThunderClan otherwise.
When warrior ceremonies came around, the leader called forth each cat in turn. Her heart had quickened, awaiting her name. "Deadpaw, Darkpaw, Honeypaw, and Waterpaw please step forward." Her Reality World stopped for a few moments. She couldn't hear or think as her friends were given their warrior names. And she wasn't. Then, when everything was over, the leader admitted she had forgotten Faithpaw, but not on accident. Faithpaw would remain an apprentice, unless a medicine cat died or she wished to retire to the elders den. That was all. She didn't squeak out weird sounds in an attempt to contradict her leader, she didn't scribble in the sand or stomp or paws and howl out a shrilled scream in anger. She just turned, and slunk away to the apprentices den.
Nothing would convince their leader she was destined to be a warrior.
Then, when Honeydew called a meeting down by the lake, she followed. She tried to look happy and excited as they trudged down to the water. She was a master at faking. But when Waterlily had uttered the prophecy, she paused.
How many prophecies were there?!

Honeydew wanted this meeting to end soon. She had forgotten that she had to talk to the leader. However it could wait. She looked at waterlily. Then she turned to the other cats that had gathered. 'I have called this meeting for a very important reason.' she announced after a while. 'Waterlily already knows.' She nodded to waterlily to finish. Waterlily nodded back. 'We are falling apart.' waterlily said. 'Faithpaw has learned how to communicate with us, but there are other problems. Each of us are pulling each other apart in some way. For example, I have hardly spoken to any of you except for honeydew since we learned about this prophecy.' 'And I have not really been honest with any one. Not even myself.' Honeydew added on to what waterlily had said.

Deadpaw and Darkpaw were very happy that Honeypaw was helping out Faithpaw in more ways, whenever they couldn't be around.
Eventually, Darkpaw became Darkflame and Deadpaw became Deadheart. Unfortunately, cats still didn't like Deadheart. Thus, his cruel and misleading name.
At the meeting... Deadheart and Darkflame were both uncomfortable. They'd spent a long of time together and some with Faithpaw... But not enough with Honeydew. Though.... They had both angrily confronted the leader who still denied Faithpaw her warrior name.
Deadheart then proposed something. "I know this is crazy... I can't imagine doing it myself... But if we really had to... Would it be possible to abandon the clan? Faithpaw was denied her name. I'm a freaking outcast. Darkflame..." He trailed off.
Darkflame growled. "I get all this dumb recognition for things I haven't done! You guys get shoved to the side, while they dote on me. I hate it."
Deadheart and Darkflame had already contemplated the possibility. However, they both knew they would never leave Honeydew or Faithpaw behind.

Faithpaw was shocked. Leave the Clan? The leader may have denied her warrior name, but she was a Clan cat through and through. Plus, the prophecy... whatever it would mean. They had to follow StarClan's wishes... right...?
Shaking her head quickly, Faithpaw let out a muffled cry.

'No, we can't leave the clan!' Waterlily protested. 'I know you all have problems, but that doesn't mean you leave the clan!' She was outraged. 'Calm down Waterlily!' Honeydew said. 'They won't understand! At least not all of what you say.' Honeydew continued. Waterlily took a deep breath. 'Your right.' she said. Waterlily and honeydew had talked quite a bit on their own. This was in there own time. They had talked a lot about their prophecies. Starclan had visited her and told her that all five of the cats would get a prophecy. It seemed that the meaning of these prophecies were clear. This is what they had talked about. They had found out a whole other side to each of the prophecies they had learned.

Deadheart and Darkflame acknowledged that Starclan wasn't necessarily bad. But to them.... The prophecies were not rulebooks on how to live your life. They figured prophecies would happen regardless of what you did, so you'd have to do things your own way and things would happen how they're supposed to anyways.
Regardless... In contrast to the reassuring prophecies received by the others... Darkflame's and Deadheart's prophecies were less cheery.
"I've got a prophecy... So does Deadheart." Darkflame spoke up. "It's not exactly happy."
To unite or perish, is the fate of those devoted to Starlight To die and harm, is the fate of those devoted to the Dark Leaves To find the balance The Darkness of the Dead Must restore the hearts of all that is balance
"That was mine." Darkflame responded.
Crimson eyes and crimson blood stains the path To break and snap before you find your journey's end The clans shall bathe in Starlight forevermore The saviors of Dead Darkness, Faith, and Rivers and Sweets.... Shall fall before the demons Never to be repaired
"Of course I get the one with references to demons...." Deadheart chuckled darkly.

Honeydew nodded. 'I am going to go. I forgot that there was something important I must take care of.' She turned to Waterlily 'You can tell them what we talked about.' Waterlily nodded. She watched Honeydew walk away and then turned back to the other cats. 'Honaydew and I knew that there would be more prophecies.... we just didn't think that we would get them so soon. You see, we have been working to find the other side to all of the prophecies we have learned. We have a lot more work to do in order to translate these prophecies to another meaning.' She frowned. 'I will let you ask Honeydew what the meanings are later. She will be able to explain them better than me.'
Honeydew had walked out of there for a reason. She had to talk to the leader. She walked up to Sandstar's den. 'May I come in?' She asked. 'Of coarse' came the reply from inside. Honeydew entered the den to find it empty except for the leader who was sitting in her nest. 'When I talked to you last talked to you you said that Faithpaw could become a warrior when she could communicate with us.' Honeydew said calmly. 'Yes, I did.' the leader replied. 'Well now he can.' Sandstar nodded. 'OK, when Faithpaw comes back, and has had some time to himself, I will hold his ceremony.' The leader said. 'Thank you Sandstar.' She said before leving the den.
Waterlily looked at the other cats. 'Well, If you have nothing else to say then this meeting is over.' She said politely. Then she waited to listen to any last comments.

On the way back, Faithpaw noticed Sandstar standing outside the den. Her heart quickened. What did that mean? Not allowing any hope in her heart, she went and sat next to her friends, silver eyes pools of curiosity.
Then, Sandstorm spoke after calling the cats. "Honeydew wants Faithpaw to become a warrior." she meowed. There were murmurs of agreement, but Sandstar's tail lashed. "Mute cats cannot be warriors! How can she issue out orders? Or warn he Clan? Or even train an apprentice? How can she tell us if something is wrong, or help the Clan, or do any without words?" Faithpaw dropped her head sadly. Did Honeydew really think she could get Sandstar to listen? "Faithpaw won't be a warrior. Not ever. I change our Clan ways right now. Fawnshadow, our medicine cat, will have two apprentices. That is all I can do. Be thankful I gave her something useful. Her name will be Faithsong." And then she left.
Faithsong held her breath. She wasn't sure how to take the news.

Honeydew went back to the leaders den. Sandstar had told her to just come in anytime she felt like, so she did. As kits and apprentices they were great friends. Why had this changed so suddenly. Sandstar looked at honeydew and saw the tears in her eyes. 'I did all i could-' Started the young leader before being cut off by Honeydew.'Why?' She cried. 'You said that you would make faith paw a warrior! You lied to me!' 'Please calm down, I had no other choice-' Again Sandstar was cut off. 'No Choice? You lied so that it looked like you had no choice! I know you and you did have a choice! I heard how you were lying! You were lying up to the point that you mad Faithpaw medicine cat!' Sandstar looked down. Tears came to his eyes too. 'I know it was a lie, ok.' He looked at Honeydew. 'Please, bring Faithsong to me. There is one more option.' Honeydew knew what this meant. 'Ok, fine I will have her come here to talk to you about if she would want to be a warrior or a medicine cat if you tell me why you lied in the first place.' 'Ok fine. I lied because, well... I thought i was what she would want.' Honeydew nodded. Then she brought over Faith song and waited for the leader to dismiss her. 'Faithsong. Not making you a warrior was wrong. Would you rather be a warrior or a medicine cat. If you would like to be a warrior a I will give you a new ceremony as soon as possible. Oh, Honeydew, you are dismissed.'
Waterlily saw honeydew coming out of Sandstars den. 'Honeydew!' She called. Honeydew walked over to her. 'Yes, what is it? How did the rest of the meeting with the others go?' Honeydew asked. 'The rest of the meeting went great.' Waterlily replied. 'Then what is wrong?' Honeydew said. Well... we both agreed that you are better at explaining the other sides of the prophecies... right?' Water lily asked. 'Yes, we did.' Honeydew comfermed. 'Ok, good because I told the others that If they wanted to know the other meaning of the prophecy they should ask you, not me.' Waterlily said. Honeydew nodded. 'Well if they ask then I will tell them, but for now let's focus on translating the new prophecies.' Honeydew yawned. It had been a long day for her. She had given her apprentice her final assessment, held the meeting, and convinced Sandstar to at least try to make Faithsong a warrior. 'I am going to bed.' she said before walking into her den and falling to sleep. She would be woken for dawn patrol, but she had nothing else to do until then. She didn't really mind this patrol, because the people coming with her were Waterlily, Deadheart, and Darkflame.

Deadheart and Darkflame were once again angered. They kept it quiet this time. They discussed their prophecies.
"It's obvious we're to bring balance to the clans... Not blindly faithful to the stars... But to have a good trusting relationship." Darkflame told his brother.
Deadheart snorted. "At the cost of our own happiness and sanity, judging from mine." He kicked some dirt. "Why do we need to be sacrificed? Why must we be killed for the sake of all the others cats who already caused us so much pain?"
"Don't be like that Deadheart... It didn't say we'd die-"
Deadheart snorted. "To break and snap? I'd say that's as good as dead. Face it Darkflame. We're out of hope. We bring balance back... And in the ordeal we're better off dead. I'm starting to think... We should leave without telling the others."
Darkflame gritted his teeth. "We can't leave them! What about Faithsong?"
"Even she's better off... You hate the attention you get. The clan still... Glares at me." He closed his eyes tightly. Deadheart whimpered. "I just want those eyes to.... Go away." He eyes flashed open. "If we run. I won't have to see them anymore. Come with me Darkflame."
He hesitated. It was clear at this point... Deadheart had enough. The only one who understood was Darkflame... They didn't see those glares. Filled with hate. For something he couldn't help.
The two were gone by morning with no way to trace them.
Darkflame and Deadheart abandoned the clan.
It rained overnight... Washing away any means of tracking them. They were gone.
Roseslash, Darkflame's former mentor, grew angry at the rest of the clan. Though most of all.... She glared at Honeydew and Waterlily.
"Those two always spent time with you three! It's your fault they left!" The she-cat accused. Her eyes filled with malice.
The whole clan hated Deadheart.... But they loved Darkflame more. All that hatred previously aimed at Deadheart turned on Waterlily and Honeydew.
They ignored Faithsong. She was mute... No way she could've done anything.
