His head was heavy, as it was of late. A long slumber he didn't get any actual respite from was common, occurring near every night. He blinked his amber eyes, short black fur tufty and messy. He'd been sleeping too much with no reward. It was humid today, and since he'd already woke, he sighed, knowing he wouldn't get back to pointless sleep. The weather made his fur feel icky, and he sighed, turning a little and at least trying to groom himself. He liked the cold much better, simply because he himself, embers wrapped in onyx fur, was a source of heat. He could keep others warm. But for now, he was alone, and he was uncomfortable in this weather. "Isn't this weather atrocious?" he muttered quietly, hearing pawsteps.

Blazeleaf has been up for a long time, she took her apprentice out a lot earlier than usual. The gray and ginger warrior was loving the warmer weather outside the camp. Cold weather wasn't her favorite she actually hated it due to her short fur not keeping her warm. She let out a happy sigh, now she had a full day to rest and do what ever she wanted.

Blazeleaf made her way to the Warrior den. She was wanting to rest a little before doing anything. She hear someone talking and she looked around with her emerald green eyes, which landed to a black tom. "I for one think this weather is great." she answered him. "My name is Blazeleaf." she told him as she made her way towards him.

"Emberfeather." he greeted softly. "How can you stand it?" he mumbled, sighing and bowing his head weakly. "It's so humid. I bet even the trees want to wilt."

"It's nice to meet you." she smiled at the cat. Blazeleaf looked at Emberfeather, he didn't look to well. "I think the trees are fine, but I don't know about you. Are you ok?" she asked, being concerned for the older warrior.

"You too," he dipped his head. "I'm sleepy, and kinda sad," he shrugged his rather large shoulders. "Thanks for asking. How are you? I don't believe we've met."

Blazeleaf nodded her head. "Oh, well I hope you get rest and happy soon." she said giving him a small smile."I don't think we have. And I have been great." she told him.

"Thank you, Blazeleaf," he nodded politely, giving her a faint smile too. "That's good to hear. I'm glad somebody is!" he laughed tiredly. "Mm, how's the prey running? I haven't actually been hunting in far too long."

"No problem." she purred. Blazeleaf laugh along with him. "There is enough to go around." she said as she looked around.

"I'm glad TreeClan is going well," he sighed softly, content. "Perhaps we could go hunting together sometime? I lose track of time lately.. It seems I can't find those who I once knew," he laughed a little bit sadly. "Are you a proficient hunter? Climber?"

Blazeleaf again nodded her head and smiled. TreeClan has been great getting many sick cats though. "That sound great I'd like that. And you'll probably find your friends around here sometime." She said looking at the black tom with her emerald green eyes. "I'm great with both so whatever you want to do." She told him.

"Friends.." he mumbled wistfully, looking at the ground. "I doubt they care for me anymore." he scoffed softly. "I'm glad you're good at those. I'm more of a runner and a hunter myself."

Blazeleaf looked at him a little sad about how he thought he didn't have friends. She then smiled, "I can be your friend then." she said. "Well thanks and ok we can do that then." she told him.

"Oh?" he mused softly, tilting his head. He paused, glancing away and thinking for a moment before returning his eyes to the she-cat. "I'd like it if you could be my friend."

Blazeleaf smiled happily, she was glad that the cat agreed with her on become friends. Even though she had just met the black tom. "Ok" she said.

"That.. makes me happy, I suppose," he murmured softly.
