[Marionette]

Creative title for Woollyfoot only

Marionette grumbled as she stalked around the badlands.  This was an unusual place. Deadly silent.. It made her feel uncomfortable and alone.
The strangely coloured feline searched around with her small ears as her soulless dark eyes were in working and dull. "Is anyone here?" She mew led,  about to cry, "anyone?!?"

Tatter's spiky white pelt stuck out like a sore spot in the desert-like area. She ducked underneath the sparse undergrowth, thankful for it's shade. It was quite difficult to escape the blistering sun, and, while most felines loved the sun, she hated it. At least it was quiet. She was tired of the other blackguard's petty complaining and such.

It wasn't hard to spot the oddly colored female heading her way. "Is anyone here?" She looked about to cry. Psh, she can't handle this, can she? The small, innocent-seeming female pushed away her thoughts of annoyance, putting on her best smile. Others always seemed to assume she was friendly and sweet, innocent. "Hi," she chirped.

Marionette smiled when she heard a voice and got ready to pounce. But instead, she lifted herself back up, Tatter ' s innocent sounding chirp sounded a little like part of a song, which calmed the she cat Dow , "Hello. I'm Marionette." She greeted the white cat and introduced herself, "But you can call me Puppet if you must."

Tatter looked up at the oddly-colored female, taking note of her cloudy eyes. Blind, huh? She scoffed when the other feline tensed, as if she were about to pounce. The white female was small, yes, but she could still fight worth her own. 

"Marionette is a weird name," she stated in the same, sweet voice. "Puppet, huh? Why Puppet?" She asked.

Marionette stayed silent as Tatter reacted to what she had just done. She hummed silently in her thoughts before the spiky white feline spoke again, "I realise that." She flicked her small black and white ear, "Because a marionette is a type of Puppet. "

A marionette is a puppet, huh? And how did she come by that information? She gave an sniggered. She must have been one of those petty, soft kittypets then, right? "Were you a kittypet?" She asked, blinking up at her with wide, gray eyes.

Marionette faced the ground and wiped her long skinny paw across the ground, "I can't remember... Ok? Good." she meowed with a slight growl. She remembered little from her past. All she could remember was being cooped in a cage.

Tatter rolled her eyes. Gah, so dramatic, she thought in annoyance. "Are you okay?" She asked in her small, innocent voice. How fun it was to decieve others. "So, where do you live now? It's terrible out here," she wrinkled her nose. "Why're you here?"

Marionette flicked her ear at the sound of three questions, "One question at a time please."
She then started to answer, "I'm fine. I live nowhere. Because I can be."

Tatter grunted, rolling her sea-gray eyes. "Your not very good at answering questions, Puppet," she murmured with a small shrug. "Aren't mothers supposed to teach their babies how to hold a pleasant conversation?" She complained, sticking out her lower lip. "But that's okay. You just need teaching," she raised a mocking 'brow' that the other feline couldn't see.

Marionette flattened her ears a little after hearing Tatter ' s murmur. She was a little confused on what She was talking about. As far as Marionette knew her mother taught her nothing apart from how to walk and say simple sentences before she was sent away. She shrugged.

Apparently the other female was a little slow, too. She stifled a snort. "What's up? Cat got your tongue?" She blinked innocently, letting out a soft giggle. "Ha! Get it?" She giggled. Gosh, this gets tiring really fast. Hm. Maybe we can change course soon. I'd like to see how she responds.

Marionette tilted her head at Tatter's comment, "What?" She flattened her ears awkwardly, "No I don't... What do you mean?"

Tatter rolled her eyes. What, has she got bees for a brain? "Cat got your tongue means that you can't or won't speak, and we're cats…" she trailed off with a shrug. "Whatever. Ask someone else." She didn't want to waste her time explaining a joke. She narrowed her eyes, studying the lanky female. Does she just live alone, then?
