Rosekit had finally managed to sneak away from her mother and all of the loud kits of the nursery. She wasn't normally aloud outside of the nursery, but she was aloud once but that was only when her mother was with her, and was showing her the camp.
It had been a few days since she had opened her eyes and got her footing, Rosekit was looking wided eyed all over the place. There were big warriors all over the place, most of them didn't notice her,and she was glad of it, she didn't want to be sent back to her mother and all of the other kits. But it was almost hard to believe that all the cats hadn't noticed her fire red pelt running across the camp, or maybe the did notice and just didn't bother to say anything to the wide eyed kit.

Rosekit had came across something that looked like the entrance to the nursery, but the smell was so different. It smelt almost sweet and reassuring. She was almost scared to go into the deep dark hole, but she also wanted to know what the smell led to. She took a big breath and poked her head into the hole first then letting her both follow her.
Her big icy blue eyes were looking all around, almost amazed. "What is this place?" Her thoughts were running wild.

Mintfrost was sorting a few herbs in the corner of the den, well caught up in what he was doing. He gave a sigh of relief when he finished a bit up. The gray and white tomcat left the stash of herbs alone for now. If anything needed more sorting he could always finish that later on. For now though he wished to take a bit of a breather. The medicine cat turned around only to see a kit at the entrance of the den. He rose a 'brow' and padded over. "What's wrong kit, are you sick?" She didn't appear it but then again Mintfrost wasn't exactly so talented as to be able to tell by just sight. "Thorn in your paw? Coughs? Sore throat?" He never got kit visitors so this was out of the ordinary. When kits wandered in it was usually when he was out of the den.

He flicked an ear. "Or do you know where you are?" He sat down and observed the kitten. "This is the medicine cats den. It's where you come when you are sick, it's not for playing." He said with a small inaudible laugh.

Rosekit was wide eyed looking all over the den. Her nose was flaring as she was taking in all the scents around her. At one point she smelled something that almost smelled sickly, but then she caught whiff of something that had a sweet tang to it, then a bitter breeze came rushing into her face. She had no idea where she had stumbled into.
Before Rosekit knew it, there was a cat making his way up to her. She hadn't even realized that there had been another presence in the den. She almost felt scared, but then again she got so scared so easily.
What's wrong kit, are you sick? The words were rushed and full of wonder. Rosekit didn't feel sick, and she didn't think she looked sick. But then so many questions came pelting at her. She had no idea what was going on, and she could tell that her fur began to stand on end, as she tried to make herself as small as possible so she wouldn't look threatening.

But then the questions stopped, and the cat seemed to relax and understand. The small ball that Rosekit had made herself into, slowing turned into he cat like shape again, as the older cat invited her into knowledge.
This is the medicine cats den. It's where you come when you are sick, it's not for playing.
As Rosekit took in the information given to her, it began to click, and she became less scared, and started to understand. "Oh!" Rosekit bounced up with joy, realizing she wasn't in harms way. "Your the medicine cat!" She had heard that there was one cat in the clan that was very smart and could help any cat that was sick or hurt. And that they were also very close to Cloudclan.

"What do you do all day in this den?" Rosekit was eager to learn more.
