VWW HEADCANON TIME!!!!

So, as probably whoever is reading this knows... Hazelclaw and Birdheart are Amberflash's kids. Their fathers are unknown. So I got thinking... About headcanons for the fathers of Amberflash's kids. Since it's very likely Birdie and Hazel are only half-siblings, due to how dissimilar they are in appearance and how neither of them really look like Amberflash [Birdie comes close but not quite], Amberflash likely had two separate flings with two different toms. Said toms are likely loners or rogues, since all canonical Fireclan characters are player characters, and aren't NPCs. It's a little odd, but weirder has occurred on the site. I checked the dates, and Amberflash's stint as temp queen was a couple months after her warrior ceremony in real time. So, I figured that'd make Amberflash pretty young and probably immediately after her realization and conscious effort to improve how she treated others, especially friends and family.

Thus, these two were born. I decided to call them Dust and Hare because I don't want to refer to them by whom I headcanon they're the dad of. Dust is the cat who looks like Hazelclaw, and is my headcanon for Hazelclaw's father. As such, he basically looks like Hazelclaw except with green eyes. I gave him green eyes because of green/hazel eyes that show up in Hazelclaw's children, and there being a complete absence of green eyes on Amberflash's side of the family. How did Aloepaw get hazel eyes, then? Well... We're going with broken VWW cat genetics here, so let's say Pinyondapple's gray eye genes mixed with Hazelclaw's recessive green eyeball gene and created hazel because we don't have a better explanation. As for why I decided to give him scars, I'll explain later. Hare is the other guy. I gave him the name Hare because he has big ears like a rabbit, and like Birdheart. He looks basically like a male Birdheart as well, though with heterochromia and green and blue eyes. This is to explain why Hazelblaze has heterochromia, despite it being completely absent on Amberflash's side of the family. The green eyes is to help explain what's with all the green eyes in the family. I just remembered that Foxclaw's side of the family includes heterochromia, and green eyes. However, I'd like to say on both sides, the heterochromia does not show up in either of the parents: Birdheart nor Thunderfox. As for the green... Eh. The blue is to bring the blue closer in terms of lineage, since Rainlight, a blue-eyed cat would've been Birdheart's grandmother, making her the kids great-grandmother which is pretty far genetically. 

Now for non-aesthetic related headcanon! So, as I said... Amberflash was probably in an emotionally vulnerable state, which was why she did the deed with a pair of strangers and never seeing them again. I'm imagining Hare as a more genuinely sympathetic individual, who probably didn't mind spreading his genes around. He probably didn't mind all too much, leaving her with a kid and never returning. As for Dust... Well, I'm using him to explain where the heck the evil that possesses Aloepaw and Almondfire came from. Since they apparently were like that from birth, I'm going to say they inherited evil cruelty genes from Dust. So, Dust is kind of a big pile of fox-dung of a person. His evil genes skipped a generation and infested two grandbabies. Well, mostly. The rest of the Fireclan Hellspawn siblings are pretty bad to a lesser extent than Aloepaw and Almondfire, the worst of the bunch. So, Dust is a glorious jerkface and likely deserved those scars he got in fights with others. I imagine his encounter with Amberflash to be a lot more morally dubious with a great deal more emotional manipulation.

Anyways, these are just headcanons and don't have to be true even if my terrible brain is already thinking of how to at least make dust real

However if we entertain the evil part of my brain... Then Dust and Hare are probably still alive and kicking. If Dust were to actually be canon and RPed I'd think it'd be terrible great idea for Dust to find Aloepaw if not Almondfire and tutor him in the ways of evil and manipulation and just make everyone's lives suck more

Also, I am seriously impressed with the amount of thought you put into Dust and Hare. And I am seriously inclined to having Dust come to life and tutor Aloe (and Almond too huehue). This also pushes me to being a little more gentically accurate in the future... Ｏ(≧▽≦)Ｏ

I have drawn more Rainclanners! This encompasses the entirety of Rainclan thus far, aside from the new arrivals and the currently only elder. Figured these guys could use references and stuff.
