Nadia tilted her head sand sniffed the food that had been placed in front of her. What is this? She wondered. She would have put this into words, however she couldn't yet speak.

She stood feebly and moved towards her mate, with love and pride in her dark hazelnut optics. She muzzled him softly, but abruptly stoped once a familiar scent caught her nose she let a low growl escape her throat then cut the sound as a white pelt entered the den. Destiny had a strong disliking for the female for one she was as confusing as a rabbit chasing a bear one moment she gives you the cold shoulder the next she is an angle (at least you see more of the cold shoulder) she also didn't like the fact that angle and Duncan have been meeting more than necessary for her rank. She glanced at the female that said some sour words but Destiny noted the small glow of desire in the she-wolf's eyes.
Destiny then quickly grabbed her precious little bundle that had just attempted play with the Hunter. She sat Braxxton down next to his sister Nadia and with a small spur around gentaly picked up the older male Lune, and carried him to the rest of his litter-mates. She glanced at Duncan hoping he would at least stay the evening after all he had not been around much and she did miss him and find it a little UN-fair for the pups after all they were his to. She smiled softly as she noticed the little scraps attempting to use more of there scences but they all seemed to find there fathers scent for there first times well other than the small words they may get off of her multi colored pelt. She turned to see if the female was still here though she doubted angle would still be hanging around after all this was a rather touchy moment one that seemed to bring bile to the white hunteress.

Nadia turned her head to her mother and tilted it. What was this new thing that had been placed infant of her. Nadia tried to ask and managed to make a squeak, but nothing more.

Angel stepped back in shock at the sudden hostility of Destiny, her only blue eye turned toward the brown-gray she-wolf and she lay her ear back and lowered her head as though she was getting screamed at by her parents. But instead she felt unwelcomed and unwanted by this she-wolf. What in wolves heaven have I ever done to make her this... untrusting of me? Angel thought and then she looked at Duncan. Then she realized. " Miss Destiny, I was simply joking.. I'm sorry if I am invading on anything. I shall leave if you want, I am only doing as told." she woofed and then squealed when the pup that was attached to her paw was yanked away. A growl emitted from her throat and she crouched down with narrowed eyes. " What.. the.. hey! Braxxton was doing nothing wrong. You don't have to exclude me from this family just cause I came to feed them! If you have a problem with me tell me straight to my face, but not in front of these sweet-hearts.. now, I'm going to go.." the she-wolf said harshly and slid out of the cave and then ran out to go hunting again. words: 289 • tags: @ilovewarriorcat, Destiny, Lune, @duncan, @braxxton • notes: its Angel not Angle xD |

The others seemed to not be paying any attention at all to Nadia. Her eyes were full of obvious curiosity yet no one payed attention. There were enough signs of her question for any one to notice. She didn't like being ignored. She left the item that had caused the curiosity and curled up in the corner of the cave and tried to sleep.

Duncan smiled at Angel and shook his head, the pack was fed and she was free to do as she wished. The red mottled alpha nuzzled Angel's shoulder in thanks and smiled at her. His little son Braxxton jumped around at Angel's paws and he laughed softly, looking at the mottled pup. He was so cute and he looked like a bigger hunter then a fighter. Perhaps Angel would be his mentor after this little meeting. They seemed to both take after each other.
"Angel.. perhaps before you leave to hunt tomorrow, I will talk with you.. Ill see you at dusk before you leave." He woofed and smiled at her.
But after he finished talking, Destiny started growling and barking at Angel and started chasing the three-legged hunter off. He growled to silence them both but by that time Destiny had pressed up against him and Angel had run off. The mottled tom shoved Destiny off him and stalked towards the entry of the nursery. He turned to his pups mother and shook his head crossly.
"That was highly un-necessary. You will appologize to her and cut the feud. These pups will not be raised in hatred." He growled, stalking after Angel.

As the three legged huntress stalked out she felt nothing for her she could only feel satifyed as she had thought she had gotten a moment with her love Duncan, but things suddenly changed like the sunny day turned black. Duncan snapped at her, and she jumped back with a wince as if she had been bitten.she felt hurt more than anything he had taken angles side as destiny thought he would after all he seemed to have a fondness for her let alone a liking, the puzzled expression and Glazed pain and betrayal showed clearly in her optics. she lowered her head she thought he had loved her but it seemed not any more after all he had not even visited his own pups with in their birth week, (was it cause of his disliking to me?) she thought with hurt filling her every movement she loved him, looked up to him, everything she thought he felt the same but he just showed NO she was nothing to him. she felt hallow he really had just chased after Angle just left her like that and demanded she apologize she felt a sadness heavy her heart as he dissapeared from veiw. What had she done to push him away? she new that he spent more time with angle than needed, for her rank but why would he do it
She noticed her pups now all close together to curled up around them but not before calling after the Red Male "They will not be raised in hatred for it seems you would rather them raised by another" she said it with a soft voice own that could not hide the pain she felt, it seemed as if she was no longer wanted or needed.she softly lapped at there small body's and humming softly for them to find sleep. with love in her gaze she murmured them good night. and thought sadly at the look on his face and new she would never forget it

The small wriggle from underneath brought her back to reality and she suddenly felt guilt claw at her, she knew her pups had a way with emotions and she must be a little over bearing at the moment she licked the small white pup and felt the sadness ebb she knew no matter what she would love the small trio and as she thought of that she felt a sting little did anyone know it was originally a quadruplets, her last born female pup was a pale silver and very weak but sience at the time she was alone no one was there to help she could not save the poor scrap and had to leave small Storm among the trees for she was to weak to bury the silver female. And knew no matter how hard she tried the guilt would linger for she had left her little runt to the wolf's her little perfect poorest. she shut out the thought of her perfect little pups well just the missing member and vowed then to her self for her little onces
to never bring it up and never to share expecialy now that there father did not seem to have interest he would have been the only one to know. She rubbed her ckeeck softly agaist the small bundles hoping they would find sleep cause she new she would not she had been thought to much the past few nights loosing a little beautiful daughter then her father.
