That's because he's an arrogant butt. But I think there are reasons.
As a child he got it drilled into his kernoggin by his daddy to be arrogant. That Uchiha are hella awesome cos sharingan.
Plus there's that dumb curse of hatred. That's there for a reason. Plus the whole reason that the sharingan kind of exists.....
I think just labelling him emo and not trying to look into his character is a bit ehhhh
All characters have motives, pasts, and blah blah blah. It's important to know it all before making a judgement. That's why I'm fine with Sasuke. Though I do like some other characters more... LIKE MINATO KUSHINA AND KAKASHI OMGGGGG
