DROUGHT OF DEATHCLAN Drought shrugged. Trying to get DeathClan's missing cats to come out of hiding would be a futile effort. Recruitment… now there was a thought, but he wasn't quite desperate enough to roam around the Plains or Twolegplace yet. They'd probably end up with a bunch of useless kittypets if that ever happened.
"Go for it if you've got the spare time. Just make sure you stay on your toes. Those rats are a nasty bunch, and the last thing I need is a dead royal," the leader meowed warningly. He remembered all too well what had happened the last time those glorified mice invaded. It had not exactly been a wonderful day in their history. The tabby blinked, licking between her claws. She was thinking about the trip, was not fun, but useful. Ash raised her hind leg and scratched behind her ear, remembering the barrels and rats. But they, Artemis, Twisted, and herself, sorta saved the group. "I'll definitely go, and be safe, don't think my instincts are faint. Well, anything else you think you want me to do?" she asked.

DROUGHT OF DEATHCLAN At the very least, Drought figured that Ash was already familiar with Twolegplace. It was less dangerous than sending somebody who'd never been there before. Ironic, how DeathClan's territory was safer than the place where kittypets lived.
"No. That journey will give you plenty to prepare for; don't spread yourself too thin." He'd never been one to ask a lot of his followers. As long as they were willing to listen to him and do the occasional service, that was enough.
The patched tom stood up after a pause, having glanced at the sky. "I think a storm's on the way," he meowed with faint resignation. "I'll need to do some things before it hits. Good luck in Twolegplace, though; you know where to find me once you're finished." WORDS: 129 || WRITTEN FOR: Ash NOTES - n/a template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

The tabby felt nervous, but not afraid of the rat-infested place. She wondered if she should take anyone, if so, no one not experienced. "I'll try not to, I'll most likely try to go a bit after.." she said, blinking, "Well why not a while after the storm? Also, good luck with your tasks, I should also start heading back to my den. I'll be sure to go soon, and then report back anything to you."
(About end thread I suppose?)

DROUGHT OF DEATHCLAN He hadn't expected the royal to want to make the trip so soon, but it did make sense to leave after the storm. Better than traveling in bad weather. All but the freshest scents would be washed away, making it clear whether there was danger lurking - be it rats, dogs, or something else entirely.
"That sounds fine. I'll send someone to fetch you if you aren't back in a few days… Darkpool only knows how bad things can be out there." With a small shake of his head and a twitch of his tail-tip, Drought set off. He'd vanished into the undergrowth within moments. WORDS: 104 || WRITTEN FOR: Ash NOTES - Yep.
