Oakkit glanced at Dappledkit. Though she was never one to use sarcasm--it conveyed a sort of attitude she didn't feel quite suited her--she recognized the use and disapproved strongly. "Good enough," she mewed lightly, stressing the last word. "We can do something else if you want."

Dappledkit realized she might of slightly offended Oakkit or given her the wrong idea, "No, I don't mean it like that--, " she said stuttering a bit and then sighed, "Sorry, I think you have good ideas, just maybe we could try hunting something else than moss." She turned towards Oakkit and gave her an apologetic look then mewed irritably, while turning towards Rabbitkit, "I'd love to attempt to act out either of your suggestions, but if we hunt, no more eating what we hunt, please Rabbitkit."

( Seriously you two keep having these prolonged chats without me  ) Rabbitkit looked at the two bristling she-cats. He decided to change the subject off whatever they were talking about so that he could save himself the trouble of having to go call for help when they start scratching each other. " We should have a competition to see who has the best hunter's crouch! " Rabbitkit suggested hopefully. He crouched down, attempting to replicate what he saw a apprentice and his mentor doing outside the nursery a few days ago. " I think we do it like this. " Rabbitkit said. (yup  ) Oakkit surveyed Rabbitkit with pursed lips as he blatantly attempted to change the subject. She, however, chose not to push it, instead carefully watched his movements--they looked professional enough--and slipped into a similar crouch. "It feels like it would work," she said a bit doubtfully, and prowled forward, imagining herself surrounded by the plains and praire. |

She seemed really concentrated on it and seemed to look just about the same as the apprentice he had seen earlier. " Great job! "' Rabbitkit commented. He looked over at Dappledkit to see her try. Dappledkit studied Oakkit carefully and tilted her head to the side, surveying how she crouched the best she could. She lowered herself to the ground, her tail on the ground as-well and then focused on a leaf outside.
(Also, you weren't at the track meeeeet Indiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I got 3rd in 100m and 3rd in 200m D:
Stephen was like, "I'll beat you!"
Me: Gets 3rd place, and he gets last

Rabbitkit surveyed the two's crouches. They both equally ( sucked jk ) did a good job at replicating what he saw. " Great!" Rabbitkit exclaimed " We'll be warriors in no time!" he concluded. " How about we try some different clan duties? Maybe we could go on a border patrol of the Nursery? " Rabbitkit suggested playfully. ( Nudges both of them* POPTARTSSS) |

As Dappledkit had once given an incredulous, but last time towards Oakkit, she felt less threatened and decided to give him the same look. "So... how do we split the 'territory'? Do I just say my nest is (insert clan name here) and the same with your guy's?"

Rabbitkit looked at Dappledkit and said " No! I meant it like the Nursery would be our clan territory and we would patrol the edges of it to make sure that no one from the other clans would sneak in." Rabbitkit told Dappledkit. " We are in the same clan remember? Thats why we were playing this game" Rabbitkit finished. He wondered what Oakkit thought of the subject. ( Nudge Nudge Oakkkitttt GO FASTERRR ) |

"Oh, oooohhh, well alright then." Dappledkit said somewhat less sarcastically and laughed lightly, knowing she had embarrassed him. "Stop ripping up the moss already, it's like the entire den is your stress ball." she meowed and yawned, stretching, her claws digging into the ground and then mewed, "Oh, guess we all do it, well darn... " she said, and flicked her tail, her eyes glinting and a small grin formed on her face. |

Oakkit stared at the both of them. She'd been about to slide into a similar hunting crouch, blowing the both of them away, she wa sure, but then they had had to launch into some completely bizarre conversation in which Dappledkit mocked Rabbitkit and Oakkit stared.
"I think you're both ridiculous!" she exploded haughtily as Rabbitkit wondered aloud, glancing sternly in his direction. "I mean--of course we're not going to kick the queens out, and I'm quite sure we all KNOW we're in the same Clan."

Dappledkit took that to offense, Oakkit calling her ridiculous, but then she realized Oakkit might be thinking she was 'higher than us,' or more intelligent, or maybe Dappledkit was overreacting. She turned towards Oakkit and shrugged saying, "Maybe I am ridiculous, so what? You say it like it's a bad thing, although you're the one imagining your future instead of what you could be enjoying in the present... " She tilted her head, a bit, and then studied Oakkit, all high and mighty she was, or thought of herself. She had nothing at all against Oakkit, but she thought she was hanging back, maybe laughing at the others, or maybe she took herself for different. Dappledkit sighed and flicked her tail lightly, "Oakkit, have some fun sometimes, even if I am mocking him, we're still enjoying ourselves, you seem reluctant to... 'socialize or act... silly, play around, you know... have fun! We're adults in the future for a reason, we aren't born one.'" |
