Twistedkit's pale blue eyes searched the nursery, taking everything in. She lunged forward, grabbing an old moss ball, then decided that it was no fun playing by herself. She was always an early riser, and she loved having the mornings to herself. Especially because no one was awake to stare at the twisted jaw she possessed. She lowered herself down and catiously stuck her nose outside the warm den she was so used to. The cold wind bit her nose, and she hurried back inside, rubbing her nose with a paw. "Ugh. Too freezing," She grumbled.

Snowkit yawned and stretched in her nest. She heard the soft pattering sound of light paw steps and rose her head. Snowkit saw another kit, a few moons younger than herself. Quietly she lifted herself from her nest and padded up to the kit " hello, I'm Snowkit! What's your name?" She asked cheerfully, not noticing the kits twisted jaw

Twistedkit was startled. But she looked up and blinked her sky-blue eyes. "Twistedkit," She said shyly, her sandy-colored fur making her stand out against the gentle white snow. For the first time, she thought that maybe she could disguise herself as a rock when hunting or defending her territory. But she focused her attention back on Snowkit. "What do you like to do around here?"

Snowkit shrugged her shoulders " I've only really played moss ball and asked questions." She replied looking out at the snow. Snowkit never met her mother, well she may have but she didn't remember who her mother was, she didn't remember much, really. " what do you like to do?" She asked back. Her bright blue eyes looking for twistedkit's gaze

"I like to practice sparring," Twistedkit said honestly. "Get some training in before becoming an apprentice."

Snowkit's ears perked at this. "That's a great idea!" She exclaimed quietly. ' why didn't I think of that' she thought, smiling " is it fun? Is it hard? Do you often get hurt?" She asked twistedkit's excitedly

"I honestly haven't had anyone to really spar against. Not many other kits really want to talk to me because of how I look," She rubbed her twisted jaw slightly. "But I really have wanted to try to spar. Do you want to try?"

(Mind if I join in?)

Owlkit stumbled around inside the nursery, spotting two kits, he slowly walked over. He blinked his odd eyes, and sat down a fox length away. I wonder if they're nice? he thought flicking an ear, he then sniffed a bit in the area, trying to find familiar scents.

Twistedkit looked over at the new kit shyly, knowing that the first thing to be judged would be the twisted jaw she had. "Hello," She said shyly. "I'm Twistedkit. Who are you?"

"Hi, I'm Snowkit!" She said to the other kit before looking at twistedkit. " I didn't even notice your jaw" she said honestly. Even though she did see it now, it didn't change the way she looked at twistedkit. " we can try sparring, but we should keep our claws sheathed. Do you want to try too, owl Kit?" She said, flicking her gaze from one kit to the next

Twistedkit nodded in agreement. "I'll definitely keep my claws sheathed and my mouth closed so I don't bite anyone by accident."

    "I'm Owlkit," he said, blinking his green/blue eyes. "Sparring? I never tried.. Sure! Sounds fun!" The tom squeaked in excitement, looking at the two other kits.

snowkit nodded at owlkit "iv'e never even thought of doing it... hmmm how about to win, you have to pin your opponent down?" she suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement and anticipation

"That sounds fair," Twistedkit nodded. "Also, no allies. It's every cat for themselves, that way there's fairness. Ready, guys?"

    "Ready!" he smiled, he never tried, and he hoped of winning, as most everyone does. He rolled his shoulders and twitched his whiskers, waiting for a starting shout.
