Killer marched back and fourth in front of his little apprentice Painne. He stopped dead in front of her and looked the small female straight in the eyes.''Alright Painne today is your first day of training...If you ever want to become a full Assassi..." he paused and finished grimly "Elite" "then you must listen and pay attention to everything I'm instituted today..Is that understood.''Killer waited a while, hearing the forest echo around him he was not really in the mood today to train but if his brother said one more thing about it he was going to shred what was felt of his ears. After his annoyed limit met its peak he snapped at the earthy female seeing she still had not yet respond .''I wont repeat myself again....Is that understood?" With fangs bared he stood tall he was larger than his brother and a monster according to many with a nasty scar running from the corner of his jaw that ran all the way down his neck and to his right for-paw it was nasty and quite hard on the eyes. He shared his brothers soul burning optics yellow as the Devils him self, or at least he acted like it.

Painne blinked. She had zoned out, staring at his scar with a mixture of awe and curiosity. When Killer snarled in her face, she twitched an ear, a second from snapping back with rage. "Got it," she barked, and then pointed a paw at his scar. "Hey, if your willing to tell me, how'd you get your cut there? If you tell me how, I'll tell you about my eye." She gestured to the scar on her right eye, which had turned the color black from the once beautiful blue. The claw wound ran from eyebrow((if she had one)) down and even across the pupil itself, and down her cheek. She was grinning, though. Not afraid of him at all.

He Glared dagger at her not only did she question his largest disfigurement, she thought he gave a crap about her own scars. He could kill her with in a moments attack, and see was un-fazed. He had heard her story not only does his bother have a big mouth he had earned her respect, he growled "Once I have your Trust, and you have mine" he growled deeper "Then I'll talk" he turned to face the dark forest the ground still black and scented of flames he gave a twisted smile but his optics held his story dark and sad. "As for your scar, I'm sure your proud to speak of your wounds. But mine is a shame one I do not wish to tell to arrogant pups" he then broke into a bound, one his long legs could achieve. With a grim expression she had hit the one thing the led deep enough to hurt that could get her killed clearly she was to young to under stand. He then turned and waited for her short legs to close the gap in there distance. "Now that your done talking lets get started!" he stood tall ears and tail up he showed his dominance and would no longer let her bother him and his bad mood. "Show me a hunters crouch, followed by a Kill bite. If you get that far with my approval then we shall do it three times more"

It wasn't that she didn't understand his scar hit a nerve, it was just she wasn't afraid of him. Though, mentioning she was probably proud of her wounds made her bristle, and she stormed after Killer before finding her nose touching his and teeth barred. "I get you want to tear my throat out, but I could care less. Don't use fear to control me, because that's one way to get me saying stuff I shouldn't say. And don't play the history card, either. I'm not proud of my wounds, and nor do I think you are, either. So if you'll stop glaring at me, then I can actually put off a decent show of my abilities. Kay?" She didn't like being called a pup, and she certainly hated the mention of her pride towards the scar from the horrid wolf of her past. She get Killer now had more of a reason to bring home a limp corpse to Alpha Major, but she really didn't want her good mood dampened by the irritating Elite. Even if she should show submission to him, Painne wasn't very used to listening to snarls and fangs in her face. And even if Alpha were to give her a scolding later, she wasn't feeling very regretful now. And the Shadow Dwellers needed good, strong members... didn't they?
Stepping back, she gave herself a moment to smooth her fur before sighing. Anger seeped out of her instantly, and with a twitch of an ear, she met Killer's gaze again. "Look, sorry. We all have our special buttons to push, and we all have teeth to bare and blood to spill. So let's just get to training and forget I even asked about you." she muttered, before crouching down into a rather well hunter's crouch and pinning her attention on a tree trunk. Green eye still flaring with anger, she tightened her muscles, and then shot forward like lightning. She snapped her front paws on the ground, nearly spraining her ankle, before tilting her head and sinking teeth into the bark. She tore savagely, the image of her mother's throat replacing the wood and the splinters tasting like blood, perhaps from herself, she left the bark badly damaged and 'killed' had it been alive. She spat a mouthful of blood onto the ground, before turning to Killer. "So, besides getting my tongue pierced with splinters, how was that?"

"Ya I do" as she said the word he could picture it, blood gushing onto the blackened earth a pitiful wail bubbling from her foaming jaws then *snap* nothing connecting her body to her head as lite flutters from her gaze, he smiled as he thought it was a twisted smile. He snarled more forcefully "Fear, awe when I'm though with you Fear will be your friend not the enemy" he is dark gaze narrowed "If you really weren't proud why bring it up?" he spat "Why not just question me with nothing to gain my interest?". Her last statement made him tick with anger "Get used to it, cause I do it a lot and if you don't give me a decent Show of your so called skills, I'll never let you forget it" He new she had a Sad past but boo hoo, the past if the past you can't change it why remember it?
He gave a twisted smile as she attempted to calm her self, she probably did not relies it now but a fourouse wolf can do much more than the peaceful one why else antagnise every thing he did had a pourpus he was full of strategies and man did he enjoy watching them play out in front of him as planned she had exploded just like the plan and on top of it she fallowed though by showing what she had. 'Yes, I have much more important things I could be doing and apparently you do as well, Push my buttons again you won't be doing much those things again" with a cruel bare of fangs he waited for her to start. She pointed her anger at her movements and made a decent crouch. But her eyes went deep this was more than training she was thinking back she had done this before he smiled and shook his head "I Know you can do better than that, and as for Attacking your Mummy you did a poor job of that" he grinned wickedly pushing more buttons lets get some were he commanded hopping rage would take its course "Again, If you don't get it right the Splinters are the worst of your Problems" let see if Painne can feel pain

Paine huffed, "I'm not proud of my wounds, but I at least aren't afraid of them." she retorted, giving her mentor a disgusted look. She wasn't proud at all of her past-of the mother who should have loved her, or the father that should have taken care of her. But she was at least willing to look back, imagine, and not forget. Replay scenes, make up better endings where she would be brave enough to fight back, and so on. Killer looked just about furious at any mention of his scar. Painne certainly wasn't happy her eye was mostly blind, save for a few blurry pictures and emotionless flickers. But she wouldn't snap at any wolf who was curious.
"Your not gonna kill me." Painne put in with a now blank expression, almost daring her mentor to try. Though, after a moment, she looked away to spit more blood and wood chips from her teeth. Yet when he mentioned her mother... Painne's green eye grew enraged so suddenly, she exploded with a roar and tore across the grass, leaping up towards his muzzle to bite him. A paw swiping out to hit his scar, hoping it was a weakness. Her mind was fuzzy and hazy with fury.

You have permission to give her a scar or something to put Painne in her place, or whatever Killer would do. Certainly bloody and painful... if you want.

He shoved his head in her face eye to eye moment and his warm breath muffled as he bitterly snapped "No your not Proud, Nor Do I fear your ashamed after all who's mother could do that to a pup even her own" He through it out there he new why not let her feel the pain for a moment or of coarce every one had a limit and his was determined to find hers. He gave her a dead serious expression and growled "Try Me" As this dark exression lit up as she seemed to let fury win out.... BOOM
She lashed out Like It was Death its self she was playing with. Seeing he had spent his life training he easly doged her studip untaticful bite move and he chuckled he was gonan let her have it but as he turned a set of claw had caught his wound one that had never fully healed as his throat skin was torn blood oozed from the every site and all the fury he had unleashed after all you don't attak him with out wanteing to die let alone his wounds if she thought it was weekness she was way off it fueled him for the kill.
He roared using skills perfected amoung years of training and lashed to her flank only to round back to her other side were he snapped at her for-arm with fury he then gave a gruesom grin and went for her face with his claws at the ready he in his fury lashed at the same side as her onyx optic hoping to make the sight much more depressing he hoped his hit had hit its mark. but he stopped before to much damage had ever happend a scar does nothing to teach a broken something would surly make his point he went for her left for-paw and with powerful jaws snapped hoping to feel the crunch of her small bones with in his jaws that would teach her.
After backing up he panted. as the taste of blood sweetly filled his mouth he then tended to his wound that had once again opened he had lost a lot of blood like a lot, the neck was nothing you wanted to be playing around he did not like to show any sort of weekness as he walked pain shot thoguth him and now the world was getting blurry he strugled to hold on... He won out and new the pain would only get worse not only would his neck take for ever to heal the pain of were it realy came form came back after moons of trying to forget it washed over him and guilt, deppression, and absult pain over took his heart felt it again.

Killer easily evaded her jaws, causing Painne to curse at what a ridiculously pathetic attack she had done. Of course it wouldn't hit. Though, with a burst of victory, her claw connected with his wound and splashed blood onto the forest floor. It intrigued her, the red liquid in slow motion as it splattered from his cut. And in a daze, she didn't notice the look of murder in his eyes until he was upon her. A look that brought on the horrible memory of her mother, causing Painne to snarl viciously on instinct.
He swiped at her flank, which she only swerved away from at the last few seconds. Yet claws sliced down her fore arm, and Painne hissed and snapped a paw towards his head, aiming for Killer's eyes. He did the same. Long dagger-like claws tore into her black eye, and immense pain made the apprentice scream in agony and back away, throwing her head from side to side and pleading for the pain to fade. IT HURTS!! she thought, falling to her knees-yet her left paw remained in the air, in her mentor's jaws. She howled as bones snapped under her fur, and flung her paw out of his grip, holding the bleeding limb tightly against her chest.
The whole left side of her face was painted a dark crimson color, dripping into the grass below paw. Her legs trembled from the force of keeping her body standing, the left paw suddenly placed on the ground and having Painne growl at the fire in her blood. Her lips peeled back, blood oozing around her fangs from biting her tongue on accident, and yet through all that her green eye still burned with such rage. If looks could kill, her mentor would be no more then a bloodied mess on the forest floor. And through the agony, Painne found one shred of hope. His weakness. His wound. It hurt him.
Both of their wounds had been targeted. Both were suffering with pain. And even so, Painne wasn't anywhere near giving up. With a snarl so vicious and demented, it would never have been believed to have come from the wolf who had been cheerful minutes ago, Painne launched forward to hit Killer, jaws snapping for his tail and claws aiming for the kill.
~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Oooh snap. No more really bad wounds, maybe he'd just smack her head and she'd black out from the pain or something?
As he turned he saw the flash of fury well that and a lot of crimson the forest floor was now painted with it, Seeing his work he actually felt nothing he usually felt the normal, Pride, Victory, Blood-lust, Something all he felt was Pain and Despair he looked at the female with regret. He looked her straight in the eye she was going to attack him and he disurved it! He turned to face he and sat down digging his long hooked killing machines of claws into the soft soil of the forest. The snarl she gave brought him actual feeling it was nothing close to fear, but actual Pride.... Only something a true killer could feel at a moment like this. He sat straight and did not even blink as she rushed to take him down... Really he had no reason to live his life was second best to every thing he had once had, He was an Elite though considered good second best he was a loner at heart, His parents murdered in his very midths, lost his littermates, to getting them back, and being betrayed by both..... and he had lost the one thing that actually made him feel alive the one soul that was truly there for the monster the one the only Lagoon... But even she was snatched from him like fine morning mist never to return (that was his deep sadness speaking though it had just been so long) As her claws scored his flesh he did not whimper but sat there letting the pain sink in he needed it it was the one thing keeping him going.
blood sprayed from the claws that had gorged his skin, With gritted teeth he looked at her with his now dull golden optics "I was Wrong..." He pause taking in a shaky breath as his blood in large countities was not with in him but upon the forest floor, his body was shaking now and his blurry gaze flared and his vision shook as if he were being thrown back and forth, with another shoulder and more gushing red liquid he stuttered "You,..." he spat out blood as it was now nearly impossible to breath he looked at her like he never had to another with an apologetic glance. He flopped to the earth with a spasm, and shook violtly. before he blacked out! the final thoughts playing thought him if she knows I would let life go she can come to terms and maybe work with me, think im phyco or still hate me it was worth a try... Hope it don't kill me... with a smile on the inside he added in his concene wouldn't be of much help then would I, Hope she understands this was lesson one and nothing more as if I hadn't done this before thats right statige she was probly ou there thinking I was as good as dead nope Im comin back and Im comin back hard hopes she likes the feeling.
Her first thought? Oh hell no I killed him?!
Her second? Alpha is gonna kill me! Killer is dead! He's dead!
Her third? Oh... he only blacked out. Whoops.
She sat down beside the fainted form of her mentor, staring at his blood for a moment before sighing. She stood and trotted away, before returning with a mouthful of marigolds and moss. She took a seat at his side and chewed up the plant, placing it on his wounds and then wiping the blood away with wet moss. Eventually, she found some spider webs and placed them on the cuts. She was especially careful about his long scar.
The full treatment took about an hour, in which she was fully confident he would live. And during this time she had placed cobwebs all over her eye and other cuts. After everything was done, she stared at Killer's calm sleeping form for a moment, and then placed a paw on his forehead. "Sorry," she muttered, and then stumbled away.
Painne laid down in the soft grass away from her mentor, and placed her head on her paws with a sad expression. Now I might lose someone else. she thought and tightly closed her green eye. Oh, why does everyone I meet die or get killed by me?!
Well as interesting as Nothingness is, he felt the earge of life pull at him. Blackness slowly ebbed away as it dulled into dark grey to pale to a blinding white as his eye lids opened with a soft flutter he waited for a moment as slowly vision came to him and the forest began to take shape the sharp tang of herds stung at his nose. he felt the tight feeling of spider silk tug at his fur as in a healing cast he new she had attempted to tend to the wounds witch she had caused. From what he could tell she had done quite a good job, or she had done it before. He cast a glance to her laying form a few paces from him self, she seemed a little at war with her self or at least sad. He felt weak and his head felt as if it might just explode he new the feeling well blood lost from his stupid years when he acted invisible or at least much like now just with out the training.
He thought over her test she had surly past you never take down an enemy with out remorse right from what he could tells she was defiantly feeling that one. Something he some how had gotten over sad but true enough killing seemed second nature to him self now. He got to his paws a little shaky but shook of the feeling and walked to her side "Painne There Is something I wish to show you" His voice lightly shook from the energy it took
Painne jumped at his sudden voice, not having notice him awakening. She looked at his wounds, but barely stopped herself from ordering him back to rest. Moving would reopen the wounds and most likely kill him. The wounds she had caused. But she felt he would take her words as a weakness, and be offended and enraged by her. So, she simply stood on her own shaky paws, a bit confused at what he could possible show her. Wasn't he angry? Didn't he just want to kill her already? "Okay?" she said unsure.
a small weak smile played at his lips as she was clearly startled by his undetected presence. He caught the resort playing in her eyes she looked as if she was going to command him to settle but clearly thought better of the thought, then he noticed the small glimmer of was that Regret? she seemed quite at war with her self over his new display of injury's. He turned as she got to her paws, she seemed just as shaky as him self. He gave a small shake of his head witch resulted in sharp pain but the un-surety in her voice was heard all the same. He gave a small limp as they started into the forest ever few paces he did stop with a heaving chest as he forced him self to keep going he wheezed slightly as they continued along the forest floor path. He stopped a few feet from a thick bushed area with a small grumble he flopped to his side air still seemed impossible to find, pain flooded over him as layed among the dirty layers of leafs and bugs. He huffed as he once again struggled to his paws usually he would have gritted his teeth and marched on with wounds like so but his apprentice needed to feel ether guilt, or nothing from what he could tell she was getting a kick out of his widely shown pain.
He glanced at the thick brush ahead and sighed he now was once again to his paws and he turned to look at the young female "Go ahead, I'll meet you on the other side" he glanced at the entrance to his heart he was gonna tell her something he had never told any one before! she would soon walk into the one part the fire could not destroy, well it was luckily not reached by the hungry flames. She would be met with flowers of every sort a small trickling creek ran thought the middle breath taking it was and soon he would unfold what he held more dearly something far prettier than all of those blossoms.
I am so sorry for the lateness of this! I was suffering muse loss for the longest time and my posts disappeared at least three times because of my phone, which really made me want to put off writing here! I'll try to be more active with Painne!
so lazy I'm not even gonna change the color....
She certainly didn't expect to see this. A meadow of dozens of different flowers, and a creek of crystal clear waters. The sky above could be seem now, and it seemed more mystifying than anywhere else in the Shadow Dwellers territory. This place was nothing what she expected when Painne entered the brush.
First, she had been suspicious. Nearly killing Killer and all made her think her mentor would stab her in the throat the second she dropped her guard. And she was very hesitant to go first and show the large wolf her back, which was rule one in things not to do as a wolf. But this was a complete shock to her. And if Killer's intent was to lower her guard, it was lowered. She was a sitting target, really, and she didn't care. For once she was actually in awe and happiness of her life. The meadow reminded her of a day in the past, wrestling her brother Pawn into the ground and giggling like nothing was wrong in their lives. It... was different than what she usually experienced when peeking into her history. Usually the horrid face of her mother would snarl with rage, which she would quickly change the features to the wounds she inflicted that rainy day way back when. It didn't help much, but it would at least bring a smile to her own face.
"Where... are we?" Painne asked.
He entered the clearing a few paces up from her self he entered where always would it was a matter of the past it was layer after layer of painful memories flooded his head... Once these very memories led him straight to cloud nine, then boom one night he crashed and he crashed hard. the bright light known as a sun seemed to flash for a few moments until his optics settled against the harsh lighting. He stared into the field as if in an illusion he played old soft memories almost forgetting the world behind he hadn't left this clearing since well.... That night. Then a faint, annoying voice cut thought the dream and pulled him back to reality.. He almost growled in frustration as the vision melted away.. The last thing he saw was the perfect pair of glowing jade optics that met his before it vanished completely. Now out of his daze he reliesd a question had been asked and answered almost incorrectly, "In My Past" he murmured not sure if she had heard nor did he care.
He glanced at the field once more and felt blurring vision coming on he shook his head and forced him self to cut of the emotion. He turned to her and asked with a faint look in his optics " Painne, What happened to your parents. If you wish not to answer its fine I will respect you for your dision"
