The little grey tabby slept calmly inside the nursery.Actually,she didn't open her eyes yet.Her name you might ask?Cinderkit was her name,probably,after her grey tabby fur.She was comfortable on her mother's nest,and talking about her mother,Cinderkit heard that she was called Shineheart.I wonder how does she look like she thought.The grey kitten wanted to see the world,she wanted to see her surroundings But I don't think that it's time Cinderkit thought.

Almost as if known to wake up at this time. The blue fur of the she-cat fluffed up as she stretched, letting out a soft long yawn before leaning her head down to look at her kit. The grey tabby, which she was sure she inherited from her. Also, her new kit was also a female. Which excited her even more Shineheart purred warmly, a smiling slowly making its way onto her face, as she lowered her head to lick the top of the kitten's head gently. Cinderkit was what her name was. It fit the little kit quite well really. Like cinder, she was just about that color of it.
"Hey there little one..." she whispered quietly. Shineheart actually wondered what the little kitten's eye color would be at this point, amber? Green? Maybe blue? Whatever it could be, it would fit Cinderkit's appearance.

Oh!Mother is here! the she kit felt more confident when Shineheat was around Maybe I should open my eyes now?Well,let's try! and the tabby opened her eyes.Cinderkit looked around,she was suprised that the world was way bigger than she thought.Her mother?She had a nice blue grey fur Wow!Shineheart is so big and beautiful!And her eyes are green!And what is the color of my eyes?Maybe green like Shineheart's,yellow,blue Cinderkit looked at Shineheart's eyes and smiled "Yay!I opened my eyes mother!" the grey tabby purred "How do they look like?" Cinderkit asked with curiosity flicking her striped tail with a dark,almost black,tip |

Shineheart's eyes widened as Cinderkit turned around to look at her. Blue! Her eyes are blue! Shineheart flicked her fluffed tail to curl around her daughter,
"Ahh. Yes dear, you did open your eyes. Your eye color is blue." Shineheart murmured to her kitten. The color seemed to fit her very well, beautiful grey tabby fur, with blue eyes. It quite reminded her of the stream, just water of a blue color, rolling down the stream bed.
"Cinderkit. Your gonna enjoy every bit of life in IceClan. Trust me on that." Shineheart meowed softly, with happiness bubbling inside of her. She could wait to see her daughter grow up. She didnt want her to leave so quickly. Yet, at the same time, she couldnt wait to see her become a apprentice and bloom into a wonderful warrior.

The tabby gave a cheerfull smile to her mother "Ohhh!" I thought that my eyes were going to be green like Shineheart's,but I think that I like blue too! Cinderkit told herself in her own mind.She looked around:the nursery was really interesting for her.The den was dark,but at the same time,made Cinderkit feel calm,but she wanted to see beyond the nursery's wall.The fluffy grey kitten poked the queen "Mommy!Are we allowed to go through this hole?" she asked pointing with her White paw towards the nursery's entrance

Shineheart took a quick glance around the nursury. Just enough warmth, even though IceClan was always quite cold in the mountains, even sometimes during the summer. Which she was perfectly fine with anyways. Her fur was long enough to support her for that. Thr poking in her side had her look down, finding that it was her daughter that was poking her. Eh? Beyond the nursury walls? It was usually usual for a kit to leave out the nursury to see the camp once their eyes opened.
"Why yes dear, we are allowed to go through the whole. I can tell you, it will be a big place darling." Shineheart meowed in amusement, twitching her whiskers.

"Yay!" Cinderkit squeaked and ran towards the nursery's entrance.The tabby could smell all the kinds of scents as she went out of the nursery:Prey,cats,herbs... It's so huge! Her deep blue orbs analyzed Iceclan's camp.There were all the types of cats:White,tabbies,black... and they had diferente sizes as well,there were bigger and smaller cats "It's big just like how Shineheart said!" But it's a little cold outside! Cinderkit said to herself.There were a lot of dens,so the grey fluffy kitten was curious about what they had inside.Pointing to the leader's den,she asked her mother "Who sleeps there mommy?It's so small!"

Shineheart squeezed herself out of the nursury after the kitten. Breathing in a gulp of air when she got a glance of the camp.She remembered when she used to hang out around the camp, chatting with her friends, eating food... Cinderkit's question interrupted her thoughts and she looked down to the kitten.
"Oh! That den? That den is the Leader's den. That cat who leads the whole clan gets their very own den." Shineheart mewed, glancing at the other dens for a moment.
"Im guessing your probably gonna ask about the other dens?"

"Wow!So he is a Strong cat then!"she said looking at the den.Cinderkit nodded to the blue grey queen "Yes!I wanted to know about them!" she mewed with excitment "Can you show me the camp?" the tabby asked Shineheart.The she kit couldn't wait to learn more about Iceclan,she wanted to know more about it as much as she could. For one moment she wondered who her father was,well,there was no need to know that now right?So she continued to a n a l y z e the clearing with her deep blue eyes |

"Even better, instead of our strong cat being a he, our leader is a she." Shineheart looked back to the den again, it was quite small, but she didnt know about the inside, she never went in there ever.
"Ah. Okay. I can show you the camp, since your so curious." Shineheart reached over to poke the kitten's chest softly. Then flicked her tail as if a signal to follow, as she walked over to the apprentice's den.
"Okay. Here's the apprentice den, where kits go once they are old enough to become a apprentice to a warrior and be trained into one. Which means, you will be coming here soon dear." Shineheart explained, she caught past memories of her apprenticeship and shook her head softly, grinning at a few of them.

"You bet it is. Along with that start of helping your clan as well." She muffled back a murrow of laughter before flicking her tail for the kit to follow her, over to the warriors den.
"Heres the warrior den. Once you get your warrior name and your recognized by the clan, you will move from the apprentice den to here. You will also be able to get your own apprentice to train once your a warrior." Shineheart could only remember a few apprentices she trained, much less, she couldnt really remember their names either.

"Ohhhhh!I'm sure that it'll be interesting!"Cinderkit mewed looking at the warrior's den,trying to imagine the day that she would be as big as Shineheart.The tabby looked around,when she spotted a weird smell coming from the medicine cat's den,Cinderkit wrinkled her nose "Ewwww!What is this weird smell coming from that den?" the grey kitten asked her mother I don't wouldn't like to live on that den

"It sure can..." The queen murmured, she would go back to that den soon... Cinderkit's speak of another den had her glance to the Medicine's Cats den, she sniffed the air for a moment, shrugging ever so slightly.
"why, its the medicine cats den. Don't mind the smell, because thats where the cats who heal or tend to others who are sick or hurt from fighting are. If you get a bellyache or so, you go in there to have the cats help you. Though sometimes it can involve eating something bitter." She chuckled lightly, licking a paw and rubbing it over a white ear, she couldn't remember the last time she visited that den too much really.

"I will never go to the medice cat's den because I'll never get hurt!I'll be the strongest warrior of Iceclan!" the grey tabby said poudly puffing her White chest and looked again at the den with her deep blue eye I'll never go there!I'm Strong and I won't get hurt!Well,I'm not that Strong but...I'll be Strong! Cinderkit thought twitching her black tail tip I 'll do my best to become the best warrior that I can be! |
