Shiny Snow! (Shineheart/P)

The gray tabby stumbled out of the nursery and sat down at the entrance. His green eyes observed the camp with a curious twinkle in his eyes. He licked his left paw and brought it over his ear. Vaporkit stood up and got into a hunter's crouch and dove into the snow. The kitten dug into the snow and his head popped out of the snow. He left out a huff and pushed up out of the snow, shaking it off of his fur. Vaporkit looked around once more before wandering about in the camp, searching for a friend to play with.

A she-cat strolled into the clearing, from the etranceway. Judt coming back from a walk. In the mountains, it was usually cold, but she didnt have to mind because of how long her fur was anyways. Shineheart twitched her whiskers as she looked around camp with bright green eyes. Wondering who would be hanging out at this time, and in her eyesight, she saw a kit. That was unusual, she usually expected a appprentice or warrior, but no matter. It was nice to meet more kits. The gray blue furred cat bounded over to the kit, flicking her tail left and right quite happily.
"Hey there little one!" She called out, stopping when she got herself infront of the kit, and crouched down to be at a leveled height with the kit.

Vaporkit blinked his green eyes at the she-cat that had crouched down on his level. Who was she? All he knew was that she was very pretty. It looked like she wanted to play. Would she really? She looked so much older, bigger than Lilypaw. Could she be a warrior? Vaporkit lashed his tail around and pawed at the warrior's nose. "This kit has a name. I'm Vaporkit! And, what might your name be, warrior?" He asked, trying to act cool but that failed.

Shineheart titled her head, twitching her whiskers in amusement as the kit had pawed her nose. She grinned, reaching a paw out to gently poke the kit's chest.
"Why hey there o' brave Vaporkit who dares approach a warrior known as Shineheart." Th she-cat stood up from her crouch into a sitting position, as if to be tall and mighty before giggling and crouching back down.
"Hey Vaporkit. Your really smart to know i'm a warrior, but im actually a queen for some time. But, you sure will be a good warrior from what I'm seeing." Shineheart mewed, smiling gently.

The kitten looked a bit taken aback when the she-cat poked his chest. How dare she! "Rawr!" he hissed playfully. His smile was bright and big. Shineheart looked like a lot of fun to play with. Her name was adorable. Vaporkit wondered how she got her name. Maybe it was based on her personality. The kit's eyes grew wide when the warrior sat up in a sitting position.

Yep! Definitely a warrior or a very big apprentice. He blushed underneath his fur and shook his head. "Nahh.. I met an apprentice and you just looked older than her. And, you're a queen? Wow... That must mean you have kits!" Vaporkit jumped up with excitement and flicked his tail back and forth. "You can tell? Can all warriors see that in some kits? And, t-thanks."

Shineheart only laughed when Vaporkit hissed and she rolled over onto her back as if to play dead.Then rolled back up, curling her paws underneath herself.
"But still, your a smart kit." Shineheart meowed happily, it was wonderful to know that kits were so smart these days.
"Mhmm. Im a queen, atleast for some time before I head back to the Warriors den. But I do have one kit. Cinderkit." Shineheart titled her head.
"Im sure all warriors cant tell, but they can guess. And im sure with your good happy cheerful personality, you would be a good warrior."

Vaporkit lifted his head up and his ears perked forward with curiosity. He laughed as the warrior pretended to be dead because of his mighty hiss. Shineheart had rolled back over and he purred, smiling at her. "But still, your a smart kit." He nodded his head, knowing that he was smart. Yeah, he was clumsy and kind of reckless sometimes but he was smart for a kit. "Mhmm. Im a queen, atleast for some time before I head back to the Warriors den. But I do have one kit. Cinderkit."

Vaporkit blinked and tried to think back on all the kits he had met. There could have been a possibility that he met her kit. It took him a long time and then the she-kit had popped into his head. "Hey! I know a kit named Cinderkit. I mean, I just met her but she could be yours. U-Um.... Let's see... Her eyes were very blue. I guess dark but bright... I know it wasn't a light blue. Somewhere in the middle and it looked like she had dusty gray fur."

"Im sure all warriors cant tell, but they can guess. And im sure with your good happy cheerful personality, you would be a good warrior." Vaporkit blushed underneath his fur and shuffled his paws nervously. That was a lot coming from a warrior he had just met. It was really nice, though. "T-Thank you, Shine... heart. Um.. Do you know how you got your warrior name?"

She listened to the description of the she-cat he described before her eyes widened.
"Yes! That should be her, did she have a white underbelly, white muzzle and paws?" Shineheart mewed, putting the image of how Vaporkit described the kit in her mind. Yep, sounded alot like her too. The she-cat looked to Vaporkit again, he was such a sweet little kitten, remembering what others looked like, wow that could help him somewhere in the future.
"Ahh. My warrior name? I got it because of my kind heart, capability to understand and care. You get the last part of your name, usually based on what your Leader sees most in you. Claw of your a good fighter, nose if your a good hunter or tracker I believe. Theres many different reasons behind your second part of your name and you should be glad with it no matter what."

"Um... Like you.. kind of? Maybe." Vaporkit couldn't recall the white markings as well as the main color of Cinderkit's fur. Shineheart was gorgeous and looked young for a warrior. Cinderkit was also just as... well, in terms for Cinderkit, she was pretty. Shineheart started to talk about how she got her name. The warrior names interested him. It interested most kits, he thought. They would all be receiving one some day. "You do have a kind heart. The leader was not wrong to have given you that name. It's really cute." Vaporkit purred to himself and flicked his tail. "Hm... I wonder what my warrior name would be. I guess I should leave that up to the leader! She knows what she's doing."

"Hrmm." The she-cat tilted her head. With aspective terms, should of determined Cinderkit got her gray fur partially from her mother's grayish blue fur tone. She looked down to the kit a smile once again present on her face.
"Aww shucks, im sure whatever name the leader gives you will fit you as much as mines fit me." The she-cat gave a pleasant yawn before to Vaporkit.
"Have you tried some prey yet?" She mewed curiously, tilting her head.

But... What was vapor about him? Or, did the name just sound cool? He thought it sounded cool but what would his warrior name tell about him. The kit shook his head, having faith in his leader. It didn't matter that much, anyway. It was just a name, right? He blinked at the warrior and shook his head, wondering what prey was. Wasn't it food that warriors hunted for? Vaporkit jumped to his paws and laughed to himself. "I can finally try it!?"

Shineheart frisked her tail to one side.
"Yeah. If your teeth are in, you should totally be able to try a little bit of prey." Shineheart padded over to the fresh-kill pile, plucking a small mouse from it and came back over to Vaporkit.
"Here is one of my favorites. A mouse, try it." She set it down infront of Vaporkit. She particularly picked that piece of prey because it was small, and the meat would be easier to chew and swallow.

Vaporkit paused and checked to see if he had any teeth. Yep, he wanted to be sure they had come in or if they were still there. He laughed to himself and watched Shineheart walk over to the fresh-kill pile. Ooh~! He was so excited to try his first piece of fresh-kill. The she-cat had brought back a small mouse and that made his ears perk forward with interest. "A mouse..? I've heard of this before. U-Um... It's small. Do you want to try to share it?" Vaporkit asked and crouched down, sniffing the dead mouse and nibbled on it. He started to take an actual bite and he licked his lips, looking up at Shineheart. "It's really good~" he purred and bent his head down to take another bite.

She crouched down again, chuckling.
"Nah, if i had to share it with you, i might eat the rest of it up in one bite." She meowed, flicking her tail to curl around her paws. She purred when the kitten had commented on the taste of fresh-kill.
"Of course it is. About everything on that pile is tasty and delicious little one." Shineheart mewed, licking a paw and rubbing it over her ear.

Vaporkit nodded his head, continuing to nibble on the mouse. It was a bit horrifying to look at first. The poor thing was dead, but it had given its life to feed a cat. The kit started to take bigger bites and finished off the mouse hungrily. His green eyes were widened as he ate his meal. He sat up and licked his lips, purring at the taste of the mouse. It was delicious like she said. "You have good taste, Shineheart. Tell me... What kind of prey does Iceclan hunt? I bet they're all delicious!" They must have had different prey than the other clans. He was interested in learning what kind of animals he would have to hunt when he got bigger.
