What was with this nasty weather. One would think clouds and rain would just... stop at some point right? Now, now they were just mocking.
Sighing the loner made her way down a lonely trail, following the scent of a mouse. Luckily enough for her and her terrible hunting skills the prey during this time of year were eating and eating, becoming ten times more plump and therefor leaving them vulnerable. Easier to catch. Although, soon she would have to attempt and find some other place of hunting. This forest never seemed to suffice with its meager amount of prey. Probably due to the fact the clan cats never shared, killed it all. Sometimes she wondered if there were even enough cats there to eat all of that food. Half the time it seemed as if they were just doing it for sport.
Sighing she followed the scent farther till she reached the source, nibbling away on a hazelnut. Fat, fat and easy. Smirking a bit she moved closer, trying to stay low and in the shadows. And after she was merely a rabbit length away she pounced, snagging the prey with a claw and then using her free paw to snap its spine, ending its life in matter of seconds. Finally, a meal.

A smirk spread across Mirage's face as her golden eyes watched the much younger she-cat from the shadows. This cat, no, this kit was proving to be quite entertaining to watch. Her clumsy hunting only proving her newness to these lands. Would this cat be surprised come this LeafBare when everyone is at each others throats for food. What at a wake up call that will be.
Having been on her own for the majority of her life, Mirage was no stranger to being one's on teacher. However she also knew that sometimes others may have a much larger influence on one so inexperienced. Silently Morage stood before slipping out into the open, coming up from behind the other she-cat. Her voice was barely a whisper as she spoke. "I'm assuming that your new here. That having been determined by your hunting skills."

Unity had only gotten to making a kill, and was about to take a ravenous bite when she was spooked. Out of nowhere some loner she-cat had basically melted from the shadows and was now standing before her, basically towering over her. Hooking her prey again she flung it behind her, closer to her hind paws before she faced this smoky grey feline with free claws.
Although to her surprise this cat didn't make any sudden movements, but started a conversation with a voice that sounded calmer than a lake without the disturbance of wind.
Unity flicked her ear and stood up straight. "Not exactly new, just... warming up to things." Her eyes looked the other feline over, noticing the muscle she had gained from being alone for a good amount of time. "And you are?"

Mirage's smirk only grew as they younger she-cat moved the prey that she had caught behind her. Perhaps she wasn't quite as untrained as Mirage had first thought seeing as she clearly knew to protect her food.
Then the other gray she-cat had inquired about her name, this causing Mirage to chuckle lightly. She locked her amber gaze with the other's. "You may call me Mirage." Mirage purred. "I'm from DeathClan, although I wouldn't consider myself tethered there completely." The she-cat paused before continuing, "How about you? What name do you go by?"

Cipher was hanging out in his favorite tree, plotting to find someway to destroy all those pesky twolegs. His amber gaze looked down to see two cats, time to make an entrance. He leaped down from the branches of the tree and landed a couple tail lengths away from the two cats, he caught Unity's question and Mirage's answer. He chuckled and meowed, "Names Cipher, and I'm guessing your two idiots?" He always thought he was quoting someone when he says those kinda things, but whatever.

Mirage's ears flickered as she heard yet another cat approaching. Idiots? Mirage smiled maliciously as she turned to face the newcomer. It was quite obvious that this cat, whoever they were, had never met Mirage before. If they had, it would be have been quite apparent that she was far from an idiot.
"If that is your best way to start a conversation, especially with a pair of cats that you don't know, I'm surprised that you haven't been turned into crowfood yet." Mirage's eyes darkened as she finished, locking her eyes with the tom.

Unity opened her mouth to answer, not wanting to aggravate another cat especially this one being from Deathclan. When out of nowhere another feline appeared, this one smelling of warm and two-legs. A kitty-pet, how cute.
Sighing she stood her ground but kept her prey under her back paw and mewed, "Unity. My name's Unity." Sometimes, Unity thought of herself as bipolar, being able to change her mood with the seeming flick of a switch inside her head. Because at this moment she turned almost hostile, almost absorbing what ever raw Deathclan energy that was being emitting from Mirage.
"For all you know, dear Kitty-pet. I could be from the clans. Deathclan or even one of the forest cats..." She paused, her tail still and ears perked, "for all you know I could most effortlessly tear you limb from limp and leave you for the foxes."
