Well, Robinfrost was still occupied, which meant Maplefrost was still temporarily in charge of things. The sightless calico made his way up to Highrock and called everyone together for a meeting.

"By naming these apprentices, we show that IceClan will survive and remain strong..."

"Cinderkit, from now on you shall be known as Cinderpaw. Ashfrost is ready for an apprentice and will mentor her."

"Perchkit, from now on you shall be known as Perchpaw. Petalfur is ready for an apprentice and will mentor her."

"Dovepaw, for some reason, your previous mentor is now unable to train you. Meltingstone is ready for an apprentice and will take over for them."


( Ashfrost/Cinderpaw, Petalfur/Perchpaw, Meltingstone/Dovepaw. I apologize if you didn't want an apprentice, but I have nobody signed up as an available mentor, so this is the point where I start choosing warriors at random. I'm doing this on mobile because my wifi /refuses/ to stop its shenanigans - hence the lack of posting template - and will update the Clan roster when possible. )

Cinderkit poked her head out of the nursery and padded towards Maplefrost Oh!It looks that it's my ceremony today! She thought with excitment twitching her whiskers My mentor is Ashfrost...Who is he? Her blue eyes looked for the tom.Cinderpaw couldn't imagine who was Ashfrost

Skypaw bounded out of the apprentice den as Maplefrost called the clan together. He ran up to Cinderpaw when the ceremonies were finished, a grin on his muzzle. "Congrats Cinderpaw! C'mon, let's go make your nest!"

    Owlpaw darted out of the apprentices den, I'm late?! he sat down and smiled, She's becoming an apprentice! The tom blinked his oddly colored eyes to try to spot his little sister, and heard her name called, "Perchpaw! Perchpaw!" Suddenly thought flew in his mind, We can go hunting, and maybe train together, and also climbing!

Petalfur

    The new queen squeezed through the gap of the Nursery, taking a seat quietly beside her mate, Ashfrost. A deep purr rumbled in her throat as Maplefrost called to her to appoint her as Perchpaw's mentor. Spending so much time sleeping and waiting was killing Petalfur, and getting outside more would help so much. Ashfrost might pester me about being careful. Oh, boy!
    The Bengal she-cat dipped her head to Maplefrost in appreciation and attempted to flick her tail across Ashfrost's flank in congratulations.
      Petalfur's eyes wandered, trying to spot her new apprentice. At last she spotted the black and white pelt she believed was Perchpaw and padded over proudly to touch noses with her.
       "Congratulations," Petal purred, dipping her head in an attempt to touch noses with the she-cat, as customs went. "I'm Petalfur."

The grey tabby's blue eyes sparkled as she spotted her brother on the crowd "Skypaw!Thanks!" Cinderpaw said with a purr to the tom and nodded happily I can't wait to start my training! the apprentice thought with excitment "But I'll wait a little more I need to find my menotr first,do you know a cat called Ashfrost?" she asked her brother

[Perchpaw]

Perchpaw looked over at Cinderpaw and beamed at her gray tabby she-cat, over the moon that she had become an apprentice alongside her friend. "Congratulations, Cinderpaw !" She purred. The black-and-white apprentice heard a familiar voice above the rest of the crowd and turned to see her brother, Fawnskip chanting her new name. He came! She knew that she couldn't approach him yet so she smiled and waved her tail to indicate that she noticed him. Suddenly a spotted golden she-cat emerged from the crowd and padded up to her. As the warrior leaned down to touch noses with her, Perchpaw inhaled her scent and was shocked to discover that the she-cat smelled like the nursery. "You're a queen?" Perchpaw asked, not bothering to hide the shock in her voice. She clenched her jaw closed so that all the thoughts that were going through her mind wouldn't pour out from her mouth. How was this Petalfur supposed to be a proper mentor if her belly was full of kits? She wouldn't be able to give Perchpaw's training as much attention as it would need.

Cinderpaw turned her head to the black and White she cat and purred "Congratulations too Perchpaw!" she said with a friendly smile "And Perchpaw,do you know a cat called Ashfrost?I think that he's my mentor but I can't find him at all" the grey tabby said flicking her tail

Perchpaw shook her head and smiled sympathetically, "No, I can't say that I've ever met him, but I'm sure you'll find him soon!" She mewed encouragingly. She felt bad for her friend but it made her feel a little bit better about having Petalfur as a mentor, at least the spotted she-cat had made an appearance and introduced herself to her apprentice instead of leaving Perchpaw in the dark as Cinderpaw's mentor had done to her.

The grey tabby nodded "Ok!Thank you Perchpaw!" she said with a friendly mew "I'll go to the apprentice's den,maybe I'll find him tomorrow!" Cinderpaw said with a hint of disappointment and started to follow Skypaw towards the apprentice's den.She turned around to look at Perchpaw "See you later!"

Petalfur

    Part of Petalfur wanted to get defensive at Perchpaw's comment. "I am," she confirmed, nodding. "Don't worry: The clan is my family, metaphorically, so a few kits of mine won't steal too much attention from you."
        When Cinderpaw asked about Ashfrost, Petalfur began to worry. It's not like him to just... not show up. Maybe he's just lost in thought. That happens. "Cinderpaw," Petalfur called after the apprentice, noticing her pad away. "I know Ashfrost well. I think he's just caught up. I'll let him know you're looking for him."
       The Bengal then looked back at her own apprentice and smiled. "Make sure to get plenty of rest tonight. I'll be waking you sometime before Sunrise."

[Ashfrost]

cold as ice and more bitter than a december winter night.

"What?" Ashfrost snapped his attention back to the Clan's meeting o(r the end of it). "I-er..." there was a moment of himself gathering his thoughts before running up (quite lately) to catch up on what had just happened. Apprentice? Ashftost smiled. I needed something to do these days anyways. he was quite pleased with himself. a\A little bit of shame and heat rushed through him. How rude of him to not be paying attention for his new apprentice. He searched the dispersing crowd and found the cat heading towards the apprentice den."Sorry about that Cinderpaw," he said briefly. "I'm glad to be your mentor." And what he said was true. "Well sleep well, training tomorrow will be...er-fun."

Sorry guys! Thanks for the tags! Was out of town and in a place where there was no internet. But I'm back!!

Dovepaw walked forward meeting her new apprentice. Her last apprentice had been pretty rude and always called her Birdface. She hoped it would go diffrent this time. She walked up to the so called cat Meltingstone . She reached up touching noses with her new mentor.
