SOUNDPAW OF FIRECLAN The other apprentice continued to surprise Sound. Now she was trying to splash him back? Oh, this was gonna be so fun!
The creek's water didn't really go past his belly fur, but Soundpaw dropped down before he could get splashed too much by Sandpaw. Only his ears and tail peeked above the surface as he crept forwards underwater. Once he was closer to Sand, Sound suddenly burst up and shook out his pelt, hoping to get his acquaintance drenched with the flying droplets. He was king of the creek and he'd prove it to her! WORDS: 096 || WRITTEN FOR: Sandpaw NOTES - Thing is, I actually love traveling, but I get bad motion sickness with planes and cars. Mostly planes. So I'm sorta hoping that commercial air travel gets faster before I want to take a trip to Okinawa in Japan - that 21+ hour flight would be the death of me. Aaaaanyway; back from the road trip now! template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

She titled her head as he dropped down, attempting to hide in the water. But before she could actually do anything, he burst up and out of the water, splashing and soaking her fur, essentially. Ack!
Trying to escape, she leapt away, only to land in a not-so- shallow area of the stream, and got a little panicky, as she'd never been taught to swim, much less what to do in a situation like this. Not wanting to make a fool of herself, she struck her paws out furiously, and dove under water. Copycat ~ Seconds later, the she-cat jumped up from under the surface and tried to splash and/or soak the tom.
21+? Ahhhh, that's understandable. I always become incredibly paranoid on planes like, even cars, but usually more often on planes "what if we crash and die?" Basically. But, yeah -- have fun, or had(?) since my reply was pretty late.

SOUNDPAW OF FIRECLAN He watched in amusement as Sandpaw found a deeper part of the stream by mistake. The other apprentice seemed to flail for a moment - but then she suddenly ducked underwater, like Sound had, and surged upwards near him!
The former loner tried to hop back, which was harder than it sounded when you were standing in water. He ended up rather drenched anyway. Deciding that maybe he wasn't king of the stream after all, Soundpaw grinned and headed back onto land, trying to flick Sand's ear with his tail-tip on the way. He flopped down on a warm patch of grass in the hopes of drying off a bit. The other FireClanners were bound to give them some weird looks if they went back to camp all wet. WORDS: 128 || WRITTEN FOR: Sandpaw NOTES - Okay, story time. I once read a book (as part of summer reading for junior year, I thiiink) about a plane crash in the mountains. Cannibalism was described in gruesome detail. I keep thinking about the darn thing whenever I get on a plane and it is just the worst thing. Would not recommend. >< template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

Sandpaw grinned as the tom shook out his fur, but restrained from splashing him, as the Cyprus appeared drained. Well--he wasn't the only one. Padding out of the shallow water, she shook out her fur, a foot or two away, then lay down on her side, resting her eyes.
Sandpaw was sure he'd appreciate the
silence, though if necessary, she could handle all the talking.
After several minutes in silence, she turned to him, then commented, "So, do you come here often?" Did his mentor show him this place? She hoped he was comfortable with responding... if he wasn't though, he could just pretend she'd never asked.
Other ~ Ack! Cannibalism has always has and always will freak me out. I don't know why, but it just seems wrong, weird, I can't explain it x'C To think you could even be capable of biting someone (which I most definitely cannot, besides childhood of course, biting isn't uncommon at that age) --but, just the thought of that, by itself is cringe-worthy in my opinion.

SOUNDPAW OF FIRECLAN With sunlight seeping into his pelt, Soundpaw started to feel a bit sleepy. Not exhausted - more along the lines of tired but content. It'd been a while since he last hung out with someone. After all, Batpaw had mysteriously disappeared, and Jay didn't talk to him much anymore. She was probably just busy… but still, he worried that she didn't enjoy spending time with him anymore.
Sound's ears twitched when Sandpaw spoke up again; he'd been halfway to dozing off. The tabby tom offered a shrug in response. He didn't often get the chance to relax by the water, but it was one of his favorite spots regardless. Idly, he wondered what parts of the territory his new companion most enjoyed. WORDS: 121 || WRITTEN FOR: Sandpaw NOTES - I won't say I think it's morally wrong, but regardless, I've never been a fan of gore. Which is unfortunate because blood is everywhere in modern media. Not to mention that I cut my hand the other day and nearly fainted because my brain panicked. Is it bad that I've always wanted to know what fainting felt like? template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

All she got was a shrug, and she'd assumed he wasn't in the mood to converse, although he couldn't actually speak... it seemed best to leave him be for the time being, and closed her eyes, the warmth of the sun lulling her to sleep, like the pull of gravity.
Sandpaw was convinced she made a new friend. That was good enough for her, mute or not. As long as you were a good friend, that was all that would matter.
Other ~ Me neither... I can tolerate it, but at times it can be overwhelming. And no, of course not! I don't think so... in all honesty, I've wanted to feel that as- well. I think this is a good thread ender, but if you want to roleplay with this character again, feel free to ask, this way fun, and definitely not boring, compared to [illiterate] those who respond with a sentence...

SOUNDPAW OF FIRECLAN Sound didn't intend to fall asleep. Really. He figured he'd just take a little break, rest his eyes, and then head back to camp for a proper nap in his nest. Apparently that wasn't happening.
One minute he was happily sunbathing, and the next he was snoring mutely, chest fur being ruffled a bit by his own breathing since he'd tucked in his chin. Well, it was all good as long as they didn't get eaten by a fox. That'd put a damper on the new friendship for sure. WORDS: 089 || WRITTEN FOR: Sandpaw NOTES - Yeah, ending it here is fine! Soundpool might be going inactive since I'm dealing with some real life stuff, but I'll probably bug you to roleplay with a different character at some point. :3 template by Margie @ Adoxography v2
