Clouds looked around the land, it felt so weird being out of fireclan borders, but she ignored the feeling. She noticed the plains looked a lot like her old territory, weird still. She decided to camp for the day and find shelter, a small rabbit hole or something like that would do. She then ran, looking for shelter, she accidentally ran into a cat in her sprint. She fell to the ground and looked at the cat, "I'm soooo sorry! I didn't see you..."

The little she-kit was bowled over. She was walking, tail down, trudging misrably the open feild. Pond heaved herself up, and in a weary tone, she said, "N-no problem. I-I should of seen you too." Manging to force on a weary grin, she said, "I've never seen or sented cats like you this far beyond those sent markers. What are you doing?"

Clouds was relieved that the cat was not angry at the she-cat. She got up and found she was a couple millimeters taller than the cat, that was how small she was, wow. "I'm exploring the world beyond my borders." She said, she looked up at the sky, dark clouds were rolling in. "You know where I can find a good place to camp out?" She asked, trying not to sound rude.

"You can stay with me." Pond said cheerfully. "Or in the old owl tree, but it's creeky and stinks of owl. But owls still come onto that tree in the middle of the nights, and hoot their heads off." Wow. What a change. The little she-kit didn't think she had ever smiled since her parents died. She was even still slightly limping. "Oh yhea, and What's your name? Mine is Pond. Also, all the other good places to sleep are taken."

Clouds nodded, "I'd rather stay with you, I'm cloudpaw or clouds, whatever suits you." She said, shrugging. She looked again at the dark clouds. "We should go now now..." She said, staring at the sky. She then started walking around, waiting to follow Pond.

"Okay." Pond said. Falling beside Clouds, she walked over to the strip of trees. Weaving through them, she came into a small hollow with a tiny creek running through it. She went to the biggest tree, and said, "This is my home. I live in this big hollow oak tree covered in ivy." She held back the ivy, and let Clouds push through the hole in the trunk first before following her. The hole in the tree covered by ivy showed some light, and revealed that they were in long grass, inside of the tree.

Clouds was amazed at the inside of the hollow tree, she looked at Pond. "Cool place." She said, she just then noticed she had not even stuttered this whole time, maybe her brothers somewhat outgoing personality was rubbing out on her. "Ya wanna talk? There's basically nothing better to do." She said, clicking her head.

"Like what's happened basically in your life, mine is really simple if you first look at it." Clouds said, sitting down. She wondered what the world around them was like, she had only left that morning and it was getting to be late. Rain started to fall outside. "Great." She said.

Clouds shrugged her shoulders, "You can if you want." She said. She blinked as she looked at the rain, it was loud yet the sound was nice. She jumped as thunder roared, her timid nature was still there. "Thunder hates me.." She said sarcastically.

"Okay." Pond said. She finlched at the thinder too. "Well, I was born somewhere... and I rememer moving to a broken down and old twoleg nest with my family. I lived life, and then some day, out of no where, a huge monster came, with a twoleg sort of... almost... controling it from its belly. It knocked down the twoleg nest with my family and I inside. My parents died, and I don't know if my two older siblings, and my four litttermates survived."

Clouds' ears dropped, she nodded slowly. "I'm sorry for your loss.." She said. She better get going on her story. "Well, I was born in fireclan with my brother to two clan cats. I don'tknow my dad well, so I can't explain about him much. But my mother is a busy queen caring for my half-siblings. I spent life how it is, we went through a heat wave and multiple deaths, I decided to find something to share with all of the clans." She explained, she didn't want to give the fact she's half-clan out, even to this nice cat.

Clouds shook her head, no one in particular unless her father had died after their meeting a while ago. "No, not that I know of, my friends and family could be... Now that I left..." She said, lowering her ears. What if darkstar found out her brother was half-clan, what if silverwhisker was in trouble, what if... She shook her head, she needed to stop worrying.
