Robinfrost jumped onto Highstone. "Everyone old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath Highstone!" He yowled, waiting until a fair amount of cats had gathered. "Softkit, you are ready to be an apprentice. I name you Softpaw. Winterrose will be your mentor," he said.
"Melodypaw, for reasons unknown, Quillfoot cannot finish your training. Waterbreeze will be your new mentor," he spoke loudly, then jumped down from the boulder, showing that the ceremony was over.

Softpaw walked over to her new mentor. "I am Softkit." She said. She smiled at her mentor. "When will we be starting training?"

Waterbreeze looked down at her apprentice and smiled. "Hello." She said. "I will start your training today and see what you know, then depending on how trained you are, I may give you your asseament tommarrow."

Giving Waterbreeze a lazy smile, I nodded. "That's fine. See you tomorrow." I said, before padding off to my den.

Her first apprentice, she was awaiting this.
She softly approached the colored she-cat,"Glad to meet your acquaintance.
How about right after this?" The day was still bright and early, no harm in starting now.
"I'll come get you later." And she left.
