Kirin scanned around the plains.

Annoyingly enough, thoughts about his sister flooded his mind. 'She would've loved this place.' He couldn't help think. Which made him hate it. He then smirked to himself. At least... If he was constantly thinking of his sister... If they ever met again, he'd remember to slash the throat of his dear old sister. Family didn't really mean anything to him. Bonds had to be won, you didn't get a free pass for just having blood relations.

While he was smirking and growling to himself, someone was watching. It took him a second to pick up on this. Once he did, he turned around to see someone watching. He turned his growls on them. "Oi! Who the hell are you?!" He snarled.

She wasn't exactly 'watching' rather than making the occasional glance on her way through. Unity had tried to avoid the tom, tried to slink through the bushes. But it seemed as if he had caught her, not to mention he started yowling right off the bat. Were all loners constantly angry?

Putting on a careless mask she stepped out of the shadows, almost melting from them. Her pelt was silver splotched with different shades of black and white, having the same stone colored eyes to match.

"I'm afraid you're going to have to be a tad bit more polite if you want my name." She mewed calmly, her muscles lose and tail completely still. The loner was young, real young. Although her eyes seemed to have an older look to them, they didn't match her.

Kirin could tell by simply breathing in the air that this cat was a loner.

He hadn't quite assimilated the Deathclan scent... But at the very least he'd shaken off the kittypet scent. He folded his ears back and glared nastily at the loner. She had a look that reminded him horribly of his sister. Further, she was lightly colored. Not exactly white, but enough to help the image. He wanted to shred her... So badly.

But first... He wanted an excuse. He snorted, still extremely hostile, but holding some more restraint now. "Tch! You're playing the silent jerk right back! You're a hypocrite." He replied in a low growl.

Taking a deep breath the loner sat down, keeping her senses alert incase this hostile wanted to send an attack at any moment. It was almost as if seeing her had aggravated him more, but she didn't know him. Never had seen him let alone smell him. He just seemed so offended.

Licking a paw she brought it over her head, even thought the rest of her was torn up and matted from lack of grooming. "Let's try this." She mewed, voice never wavering and eyes looking almost clever. "What's your name."

Kirin hated how nonchalant she was.

It disgusted him. Cats should be emotional. It was the normal thing. Any cats who weren't... Outwardly expressive... Obviously were jerks or had something to hide. He hated that. It was better to be straight forward. His sister was a manipulator. He hated that as well. Was this cat playing him?!

He continued to glare at her. "I'm not trying anything. But if you're so eager to know... Kirin." He growled. "Now... Your name. It's common courtesy, unless you're going to be like her and dodge simple manners and not give me a single ANSWER!" He was extremely agitated, being so immersed in thoughts of his sister. More than usual.

((I just realized how angry Kirin is on a regular basis.

This was almost ... fun. But she kept her face straight and nodded at his name. Kirin. Something she had never heard before, something new was always nice. Almost like a new scenery.

"Kirin, how does one come upon such a name?" She mewed, getting up now and inspecting a patch of flowers a few fox-lengths from the tom. They were a bright white, smelled better than Kot by far. That cat carried a stench, Deathclan to be exact.

Picking up her head she turned it to the fire colored cat again, "I'm Unity."

Kirin had a somewhat manic grin on his face.

He hated his sister, true. But he also loved the idea of clawing her face. Thus... He was filled with a hateful giddiness that he knew exactly the origin of. Of course, having nothing to do with this Unity cat here. She asked about his name. His slightly crazy grin widened at the idea of possibly explaining about himself and his dear sister.

"Oh... I'm just a simple former kittypet turned rogue." He replied, growling, the smile still plastered on his face.

((Oh my god he's almost like a psycho Sasuke Uchiha. Or is that my imagination??

A knot started in her stomach when something else sparked inside of him. It was almost as if every cat she met out here had some sort of secret. Sighing but still keeping the fearless mask on she mewed, "Rouge eh?"

Rolling her shoulders she continued, "everyone's gone rouge at sometime. Well... most of us." At this point she was trying to get him to think he was like everyone else. Every other rouge picking easy prey, getting the upper paw. "Some of us just... control it better."

Kirin nodded slightly, still grinning like a crazy person.

"Oh... I have control. Just not for you, hahahaha! You remind me a lot of my sister. Who I hate. In fact, I want to slash her throat!" He stared right into her eyes, with his wild ones. "Or maybe I could slash your throat in the meantime rather than waiting!" He meowed giddily. He took a step back and waved her off.

"Nah.... Hurting you wouldn't be nearly as much fun as hurting my real sister." He stared at her seriously now. "Unless... Do you know a white she-cat named Akki?"

[Unity]

The tom made a movement forward, she should've expected it with how loud his voice had been getting. But either way her mask broke, broke for just the slightest moment before she turned her face into a snarl, mussel wrinkled and claws retracted.

Only, this was just a movement of... well something to scare her. Slitting her eyes into a glare she let her mask go back to normal and went back to intently listening. "Akki? No. I'm not aware of many cats."

Letting her heart calm down she sat amongst the flowers, relaxing again.

"There is really no reason to be hostile dear Kirin. I'm no Akki."

Suddenly Kirin seemed somewhat depressed and disappointed.

He sat down away from Unity and curled his tail around his paws. "No... You're not." He growled and snarled at the ground. "I'm sure you're better... Or worse. Akki, Akki, Akki!" He clawed at the ground with his claws. "She was such a show-off, you know. An outdoor cat. My parents always favored her, once she came along. Nothing fazed her. She knew everything. She was better than me in every way... EXCEPT SHE'S WeAkEr ThAn mE!!" His face reverted to that manic grin, directed once more at Unity.

((... BTW... Akki is actually a clan cat named Brightpaw now. But uh... Kirin is more nuts than I'd originally intended.

[Unity]

Unity turned her head and flicked her tail just once from her sitting position. Figuring she'd answer his statements with logical ones, almost to back him up in a smart... sophisticated way.

"You should be stronger, being the tom of the litter." As far as Unity knew she was the only one who had been born. She had no family, no one she could turn to when things got bad. But then again what was she living for as of now?

"It only sounds like she's made you the weaker of mind."

(casually turns into a cat consoling session)
