Clouds was rather bored more than she should have, she stared at the night sky from the tree she had climbed. I wonder how foxbite and silverwhisker are doing She thought, thinking of her fireclan kin. She climbed down and headed towards Pond's hollow. Now that she had thought about it, she hadn't really been a loner for long and was staying in a tree hollow with one of her friends. As she snapped from her thoughts, deathclan scent touched her nose. Aw man...
@drought Sorry this is late, and Clouds is a loner from fireclan, so he's not really gonna be happy :T

Drought's claws had been itching for a day now. He was frustrated - couldn't deal with threats to DeathClan's territory when nobody was around to listen to him - and agitation made the leader want to hurt things. Not necessarily even living things. Sinking his teeth into a sunbaked piece of meat would suffice, but sometimes shedding blood was more satisfying.
Above all, though, he was a gentleman… not some mindless savage. He wouldn't go rampaging through the woods and attack the first creature he saw. On the other paw, he would certainly go for a brisk walk outside of his territory. If a rogue happened to see his presence as a threat, well, a fight would be most welcome.
But the first cat he saw in the plains wasn't a rogue. The patched feline was almost disappointed upon noticing what looked like a loner. Typically, they were more gentle than their counterparts from the badlands, which meant he probably wouldn't get his brawl. Drought sighed quietly.
"Afternoon! Who might you be, stranger?"
(No problem! I'm looking forward to seeing how these two interact. As a note though, I'm going to be away on a trip for a few days, so it might be a bit until I can post again.)

Clouds stood in complete silence, a deathclanner was here talking to her. After a few moments she stuttered, "C-clouds... I came to explore the place...." She then took a few steps back, afraid the deathclan cat would smell her fear and say she's weak.

The poor cat looked so startled that Drought forgot his irritation for a moment, whiskers twitching in faint amusement. The best part was that he wasn't even sure if Clouds had been frightened by his rogue-ish looks alone, or if she already knew him to be DeathClan's leader. It was pretty humorous either way.
"Well, don't let me stop you. My name is Drought. Are you a local, then, or did you wander here from afar?"

Clouds remained tense, but she lowered her fur and tail. "Umm.. Ummm... Fireclan.. And y-your the dude drought that I heard of.." She said calmly but still timidly, recognizing the cat to the description. She again took another step back.
(Short, also school is back to haunt me)

The mention of the Clans had Drought's fur beginning to bristle. Was this perhaps a spy, sent here to gain insight on the outsider lands and his own group? That would explain her nervousness.
"The very same. Now, I hope you have an excellent reason as to why you're here. Did Darkstar send you?" There was a possibility that Clouds had been exiled, seeing as her name wasn't a Clan one, but she could easily be lying about that.
(Short posts are fine. School sucks though; hope it's not too boring for you!)

Clouds shook her head and felt tension. "I never met darkstar, but I'm here to explore the lands beyond the border." She said, confidence starting to fill her voice after seeing the leaders fur bristle. "By any chances are there trees 'round here?" She asked, because of her mothers warning and if she had to escape when this dude went haywire.

"You never met Darkstar," he echoed disbelievingly. "Don't try to change the subject. Are you a FireClanner or not?"
It definitely sounded like Clouds was here as a scout for someone. Drought bared his teeth and let a low growl rumble in his throat. If FireClan wanted to step out of bounds like that, it seemed he'd get his fight after all.

"Yeah I'm fireclan, and your just a mousebrained rouge." Clouds hissed, extending her claws. This dude seemed ready for a fight and she won't be able to talk herself out of it. Better run if it goes out of hand, but give Drought some scratches so he wouldn't forget her easily.

"I am no rogue, Clan fool," hissed the leader as he began to circle Clouds. "Did your queens not dare to speak of DeathClan? Perhaps I should show you what we're like."
Drought was startlingly fast for a cat his size. He struck suddenly, aiming to ram the loner with his shoulder before lashing out at her with honed claws. It was a shock that he still got challengers given his reputation. After all, it wasn't as if DeathClan leaders had lives to spare. One mistake out here meant death. So if someone managed to hang on to that metaphorical crown for seasons… well. It said something, didn't it?

Clouds didn't see it coming as the leader literally rammed her to the ground and started scratching at her. She hissed before trying to kick the attacker away before returning the slashing. That rouge scum isn't getting out so easy...

Drought got a few good swipes in, then Clouds seemed to pull herself together. He was kicked away out of range. After stumbling slightly, he regained his balance and returned to the offensive, springing towards his opponent.
The tom wasn't known for holding back in combat. He landed right in front of Clouds and attempted to claw her eyes. If she ducked, he'd still have the opportunity to shred her ears. If not, she'd have to deal with not being able to see, maybe permanently.

Clouds had a chance for breath before the deathclan leader had sprung back to action and attempted to rip her eye. She ducked, but managed to get her left ear torn pretty badly. She winced a little before rising her head and aiming to scratch the toms face in front of her.
