Skypaw trotted out of the apprentice's den. The camp seemed very empty lately, and he couldn't find much to do. He hadn't trained in a few days, and there were hardly any apprentices to talk to. Maybe now he could meet a new face. Padding to the fresh kill pile, he grabbed a trout and sat down. "Who wants to shaaarrreeee?"

{ } "If you're offering, I wouldn't mind sharing," Thornfrost chuckled, padding towards the smaller tom. The scarred tabby paused, as if in a moment of hesitation, before he shook it off and continued. There was nothing wrong with a warrior sharing a meal with an apprentice, and he had never had anything against meeting new people. "Oh....I'm Thornfrost. I suppose I should start with that before I try to steal half your lunch." Thornfrost added bashfully, tilting his head in a smile. MADE BY VEL OF GS

Skypaw glanced up as he got a reply, a grin settling on his muzzle as he realized it was a warrior. One that looked a little older at that. A senior warrior wants to share prey with me? Oh my gosh! I better be polite! He thought, dipping his head and inching over to make room. The apprentice pushed the prey towards Thornfrost. "I'm not that hungry. I just wanted some company." He nodded and giggled a little as the tom introduced himself. "Nice to meet you! I'm Skypaw."

{ } Thornfrost purred as he settled down, purposefully keeping the bald and scarred half of his face from the young apprentice. No sense cueing a reaction where none was necessary after all. "Well, that at least, I can give you," the tabby assured Skypaw with a confident smile. "It's a pleasure, Skypaw. It's been a while since I've been able to talk to an apprentice, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to bring up." He trailed off, his one ear twitched rather bashfully. "Erhm...So how's training? I guess?" He hazarded with a shrug before laughing at his own terrible socializing skills. "Cloudclan, I really am bad at this."MADE BY VEL OF GS

"Oh, come on! You were an apprentice once. Can you remember what you talked about back then?" He squinted at the warrior. Were those some white hairs on his muzzle? No, Skypaw must've been imagining it. He was probably an apprentice hundreds of moons ago! Wow! He stared at him with a wide grin, nodding at the question. "Training's great! My mentor Duskrise is super nice!" He shook his head as Thornfrost continued. "No, you're good. What's being a warrior like? Is it tough?"

{ } - I forgive you, it is very amazing : P Though I think yours is prettier - Thornfrost chuckled, thoroughly schooled by the apprentice's words. "I suppose I was. I believe I mainly talked about how much I liked doves. Oh, and fireflies. Doves and fireflies, those were the main aspects of my apprenticeship," Thornfrost informed Skypaw, trailing off with a thoughtful hum. Truly his life hadn't become incredibly interesting until he'd become a warrior, and that wasn't the good kind of interesting. "It certainly has its highs and lows, yes, but then, that could be said about anything. Overall, I'd say that any hardships I've had to face have been worth it in the end." It seemed the rather stereotypical workaholic answer, but he was at least trying to be truthful. "Are you looking forward to being a warrior? I can't say I've heard of Duskrise, but you must be close to your assessment, right?"MADE BY VEL OF GS
