Every chance you get is a chance you seize. -Coldplay
For @icypool ))
She guessed it was about midday, the sun was high in the sky and the birds were singing there song. Not having a care in the world. That's until a hawk get's ahold of you, she thought to herself as she stared a robin down until it took off into the sky again. The young feline didn't even try hunting birds, they were too fast. Sure she was young and a ball of energy but... birds were birds.
At this moment in time she was on the outskirts of the forest overlooking the plains, watching the vultures circle a dead rabbit in the middle of everything. She wondered if something... no someone had purposefully put it there. It would have been an extremely clever move. Especially if they had found it rotten. Put a useless piece of meat in the middle of an open field and just... wait for the larger birds to come in. Take down one of those things and you had a meal for at least a week. That was, unless someone got to you first.

Alaska was rolling around in the dirt, purring to herself loudly. Her fur smelling of catnip and her pupils dilated as she clawed at the air like a kit, and breathed in the scent of the minty leaves. Her bright fluffy tail lashed back and forth and suddenly, she was seeing stuff. Imaginery mice. She was on the edge of the forest and as she chased the mice onto the plain, chasing them in circle's, she barely noticed the loner watching the birds. A "mouse" ran towards Unity and Alaska's eyes widened like she was possessed. "GET IT!!" she screeched and barreled herself after the mouse and straight into the loner

Unity was minding her own business, well that was until the white feline caught her gaze. It was an odd sight, seeing a cat so happy, so at ease in the middle of loner and rouge territory. The spectacle was almost magical, so much that she was drawn in. This she-cat was almost like a kit, pawing at something imaginary at the sky. From the spot Unity was hidden in the bushes she would have never expected this cat to notice her. Especially on such short notice.
Her eyes were so wide, almost demonic as this loner bolted at her screaming. Unity hadn't even heard what the screaming words actually were before she was barreled into. Squeaking like a kit she rolled back, catching her footing again by digging her claws into the ground. Her young feminine figure making her look weak even in a defensive position. "I didn't mean to stare!" She shouted, standing her ground, tail lashing behind her. "And I most definitely am not here to pick any fights... you just looked ... so calm. So innocent."

Alaska scoffed "me, innocent?!" she circled the young cat her eyes still wide. The effects of the drug taking over her body. Catmint was a addiction she could not get rid off. She suddenly stopped dead and stared at Unity with suspicion. "Are you from Deathclan?" she accused with an angry hiss as if Unity was a spy, and started stalking her threataningly, her blue eyes locked on the silver she-cat. Deathclan was her former clan, and she hated them with a passion. More specificely, she didn't hate the clan itself. She loved it. But she hated certain cats.

Unity clenched her teeth as this other cat began circling her, only to replace the teeth clenching with a mask of fearlessness. Sighing she sat down as this other cat continued to circle. She seemed to hate Deathclan with more than a passion.
"Me? From that stinking place?" She mewed, seeming offended that this loner would even associate her with them. "Do I ever smell like them to you?"
In fact she didn't know what she smelt like. Not being from any of the clans she guessed she probably merely smelled of tall grass and maybe the forest. But that wasn't what she was completely getting at right now she felt as if she needed to explain herself before she had her face ripped off.
"In fact, I'm merely a loner." Unity began, her voice calm and smooth like silk. "Merely."

Alaska giggled, her fur went flat and she relaxed after the loner told her she was not from Deathclan. Good, good she purred venomously. That meant Unity was still pure. Her mind had not yet been poisoned by their pathetic leadership - the rats known as Drought and Badger. And she would make sure that Unity stayed pure. She would know the truth. "Do you know who Scarlet is?" she purred to the silver loner. Now her voice was deathly quiet. She stopped circeling and crouched down in front of the cat, as if she was about to pounce.

Unity Unity was a bit confused when this cat stopped circling, but she managed to keep her cool. Giving this other she-cat an intense stare down as she listened intently to what she had to say.
"Uh... a Scarlet?" She mewed, picking her brains and trying her best to remember all of the names in her booklet. She had a terrible memory as it was due to her 'accident' but she didn't find any reference of Scarlet. "No I'm afraid not." She concluded.
"Although." The loner continued, getting more curious and talkative. "If I may ask, why?" there are two kinds of people in the world; those who look to the future, and those who look to the past. nette of gs
