"We?" Edgekit grunted, narrowing his eyes. "I guess we'll have to fight them together—don't worry though, I can protect you," he told his brother with a sly grin, nudging him in an attempt to make him fall over so he could pin him to the ground. "....Can one even fight a dead cat?" Edge asked with a blink, frowning at the ground slightly as he mulled it over. "I mean, they're already dead."
"I bet your crying for her right now!" He responded haughtily, whipping Snapkit playfully with his tail. He returned his attention to his parents, his expression becoming unreadable. The deputy seemed rather unsure. "What do you think they're talking about, Snappy?" He asked, using the affectionate nickname for his brother. He bit his lip. "I mean, seriously. What do you think they're actually talking about."
Edgekit growled as Snapkit pounced on him, rolling onto the ground. The tortoiseshell was rather big and strong for his age—as he'd remain as he grew—and had his eyes set on winning this little play fight. He bared his teeth, little kitten-like growls emitting from his throat as he grasped onto Snapkit, attempting to roll him back over so he'd be the one on top.

She laughed, having expected Robbie's reaction. It was a crazy idea, definitely, and she hadn't really put much thought into it yet, but she was already certain that her place was with Robinfrost. Even if that meant freezing cold snow. "Maybe I am; but I'm sane enough to know I love you and want to stay." She responded stubbornly. She sat down, as if the movement would help solidify her place in Iceclan. "My kits are my duty, and they're here. With you."
The queen glanced over to Snapkit and Edgekit, and smiled fondly. She knew Robbie's fears, had anticipated them even, it was understandable when it came to his past. She leaned in and nudged her head against his shoulder fondly. For a moment she considered chastising him on his worries, but it was doubtful that would help. "Things will happens, they always do, that's just life Robbie. But they'll grow and become strong, brilliant warriors who are totally not loyal to the Darkpool or anything, whut, and they'll learn from the good and the bad, just as their father did." At times she wondered if Robin would ever see the wonderful warrior, even just the wonderful person, he had become. He had a tendency to only see the pain in his life, and it made her sad.
"You take that chance when you let yourself love someone." Spiderleaf stood and swept her tail towards the two kits. "Now come and properly meet your sons." THIS IS THE NEW YEAR
