 BLAZE OF THE PLAINS Well, if she was talking, apparently she wasn't going to murder him right off the bat. Blaze spluttered indignantly for a few moments before managing a response. "You cornered and attacked me!" The loner wasn't entirely sure why he was trying to convince Ash that she was bad, but talking seemed like a good alternative to getting mauled by this DeathClanner.

![]() Ash The tabby looked off at the surrounding area, then shot back down suddenly at the tom's response. Ash smiled, as she didn't reply, and flicked her tail side to side. The she-cat thought for a while as her eyes scanned the tom's face, wondering of what to do next. "Why should I? You're just going to leave again, aren't you?"

BLAZE OF THE PLAINS Blaze continued to squirm in the hopes of loosening Ash's grip. It didn't appear to be working very well. The DeathClanner was obviously much stronger than he was - which might be a little pathetic, but then again, Ash was much older and more experienced.

![]() Ash As the tom squirmed a bit, she tried to tighten her grip as much as she could. The tabby growled, annoyed with the tom. Hmm.. this tom's attitude will certainly get himself killed. I wouldn't be surprised if I caused it. "Really? Not that is very, very rude, sir," she said with narrowed eyes. "Our lovely world here shouldn't have cats like you, I can.. probably fix that." she said with a ill smile.

BLAZE OF THE PLAINS "And what you're doing isn't rude? Mama always told me to be kind to everyone, but to stay away from cats like you." He made a halfhearted attempt not to show that he was completely terrified. Where were all of the other loners? He'd met a few with decent combat skills - maybe not outstanding, but enough to hold their own and maybe save him from this lunatic.

BLAZE OF THE PLAINS This was certainly not good. The DeathClanner seemed determined to keep him pinned here, he couldn't smell anyone else nearby, and he was really starting to panic. Blaze had fainted during a sparring session - he was too much of a pacifist, and it turned out that real combat was a thousand times worse.
Well… nothing else to do except hope that he'd get lucky, or that Ash would lose interest. Blaze kept thrashing like a dying carp and let out another loud screech. He wasn't about to get out of this without help.
