SD vs. AS

As the last, ruddy rays of a dying sun touched the forest floor, the sleek form of a wolf slipped onto the red-bathed battlefield, as quiet as the descending night. Whereas the faces of many of his comrades- and most of his rivals- bore hatred, the newcomer wore a mask of indifference, his dark amber eyes cold and calculating, his face unmarred by even the hint of a snarl. Gaze raking the untouched clearing, Obsidian found his opponents, two wolves who looked ready to tear his throat out, to watch the red of his lifeblood replace the red of the setting sun. The massive male met malice with calm, and dipped his head to each wolf in turn. Let us finish this.

Cana trotted in behind her leader, worry plastered across her face. She wouldn't let flight die or receive fatal injuries! She had to protect her pack-mate, even if they hadn't really talked much. In battle, it was easy to fall into sync with your partnering "buddy".

She was met by two other wolves, both around her age, size and rank too it seemed. As male and a female wolf. She greeted them with a snarl, but had no intention of intimidating them. Innocence was the role she preferred to play, though that was only what was on the outside. Her heart was like ice.

I think it has been plenty long. Members who have not posted can join later, but we should begin the war... with Major and Luna's "okay".



Painne was looming behind Killer as her former mentor snarled at Nyx. If she weren't such a bold wolf who had trained under him, she would have been easily intimidated by Killer's actions. Well... maybe if she were some weak wimp, then yes, intimidation was there. But she was not. She was strong, and and quick and above all merciless.

"Shall we begin?" she snarled coldly, looking over the other wolves briefly. The victor was obvious. Luna's pack may have come here today to follow through with bloodthirst, but Alpha Major's wolves had been raised coexisting with such a term. And it was certainly clear that the Shadow Dwellers knew they held an advantage by such bloodthirst. No hesitation, or guilt or even pity would even attempt to fleet across their minds.

The Shadow Dwellers were born the predators. The Artemis Scouts were born the prey.

[Major]

The Large maned male cast a burning gave along the battle lines, all he could see from it all was victory! the clear winner was to be him they all new it. He looked at the white female whom had doomed her pack from the beginning, with a domestic *Good Luck to you, and may the best pack win* motion of his ears and banner. He stepped forward much more threateningly than before his whole calm and almost bliss deminor changing in the instant and was left with the demon inside. He Gave a thunders howl for his followers and called "Leave no Survivors" he new that was Sick and cruel, but well what else would they all be right? He had come here for land and now he had made up his mind he wanted it red and thick with AS's Blood if he were to have it at all

Kiska Fire nodded to @twig before growling"And That is what we will do" she Ran full speed at the opposing Wolf trying to Bit then ready to turn that wolves fur Dark red with their own blood.

Luna cast a quick glance over the opposing packs' lines of bloodthirsty monsters, as she did hers. They were finally getting their war. She wouldn't let them win it, though. She dipped her head briefly in Major's direction and in the direction of her pack.

Stepping forward, a low and menacing growl escaped her throat, echoing throughout the small camp clearing. Making her way past the lines of wolves, she met face to face with Major, her expression now smug. "Don't give them the satisfaction." Then her instincts took over.

[Kiska]

Kiska bared her teeth in a snarl as a new wolf appeared, joining Fire. By the sound of her role, this wolf was certainly one to watch out for, and Kiska kept one eye on the wolf as she heard the cry to begin battle. "Yes, today we fight. Let's dance!"
Immediately, she saw Fire barrelling towards her with her mouth wide open and teeth gleaming. Feeling the familiar adrenaline rush that came from fighting, Kiska breathed deeply. And this is why I'm an assassin. For the love of battle. 
Grinning at Fire, she darted off to the side, leaving her tail in the way. She was perfectly fine with sacrificing her tail for the sake of this battle, and if it could keep Fire's jaws occupied, then so be it. After all, she didn't expect there to be much more than a flesh wound.
Pivoting, the assassin aimed a bite at Fire's side, hoping that her tail would get in the way of his retaliation. If it connected, she would hang on with all she had. 

(I'll ignore Dusk for now... If he/she returns then we can just write Dusk in. Also, I would very much appreciate it if Kiska keeps her tail.)

[Fire]

Fire growled before grabbing the wolfs tail trying to fling her swing her strength into a near by tree growling she leaped trying to land on the Opposing Wolf

(Hey guys, please stop posting OOC-only posts. I get that this is a bit chaotic and that you want to keep updating lists so that everyone can fight inactive people, but it would be best if you just edit one post with new lists and say in your RP posts that the list has been updated. I've seen that a couple of times now in this thread.

Also, and I'm not saying anyone has done this, just remember not to power-play. Don't ruin another person's fun because you want to be an unstoppable force.


Anyway, have fun! This war was actually really unexpected from a lot of peoples' perspective, so I can't wait to start reading up on this thread and future ones )

Abyss was sitting a couple tail-lengths away from Luna, eyes trained on the wolf named "Red Dawn". He had to fight her, huh? He got to his feet, now standing next to the alpha female who was facing the alpha male. He didn't understand why the alpha female wasn't fighting the alpha female, and the male fighting the male, but then again it had no particular importance. All four were alphas. Red Dawn

He had their go. Snarling, he lunged at the alpha female. He knew better than sympathize with her. Females, if anything, were stronger than males.

I'm not meaning to post another OOC post, but I don't believe this thread should be continued, mainly because many of the role-players on both sides are inactive. Perhaps if Major and I could properly discuss the war thread in a PM with everyone we could actually make some resting decisions.

Sorry to disappoint everyone watching this thread (if you were even mildly interested), but I've noticed some wolves don't even have an opponent anymore since theirs is inactive. I, personally, think this is really unfair to them.

I know it's not really my call to make, but hopefully you'll agree with me, Major. Hopefully, we can have a proper PM thread. I'm up for making it if you agree with my opinion on this SD vs AS war. I will list everyone ACTIVE member in a PM if you agree. If this seemed, in any way rude, please don't hesitate to tell me.

Could you have at least made a one-line RP post just so this isn't counted as OOC-only?? I'm gonna continue to write this off because it's for the plot, but oh my god please literally just write "(insert name) sneezed and growled" or something.

all we need is a simple use of roleplaying and we're good to go, I believe.


{ anyway, I think we should each just make our own private fights that we say are all in one area. I already figured people would go inactive or be flooded out, so I believe making our own threads would be much simpler. I would ask that Major or Luna P.M. all our participants in the war and we can talk about pairing up fighters there. Then, when everything is settled, certain people will post their own thread and if they go inactive... oh well. But one big thread seems like a lot of work and pretty confusing as well. }
