Sandpaw lay in her warm and cozy nest in the apprentice den. Dreaming of? I dont know. Suddenly a soft screech awoke her. "Ahh!" She yelped. She looked around hoping not awoken anyone with her cry of terror. 'Be more quiet.' She meowed to herself.
She lifted her heavy and tired ginger body and walked out of the den. It was dark and there was no moon so that wasn't that great. "Fox-dung." She muttered seeing there were no moon, but there was all of Silverpelt and that meant Cloudclan. She always wondered what those starry warriors did.
Suddenly she heard a noise. With out hesitation she got in to a hunters crouch. "Who are you? What are you?" She hissed.

"Its just me Sandstone I'm practicing my hunters crouch." Sprucepaw said poking his head through the brush. I'm waiting on a mentor so i thought id check out the den. |

Sandpaw let a sigh of relief flow out. "Thank Cloudclan." She meowed. She went over to the younger apprentice. She sat down by him because that was where her nest was located. "Its spooky tonight." She shuddered. She wasn't normally scared of anything, but she definitely was scared of ghosts and all that.

"I think cloudclan might be a little restless tonight." He said sinking back.

She nodded in agreement. Cloudclan was a little restless for sure. She stepped a step backwards and snapped a larger twig. Leaping into the air from that noise.

He jumped 5 feet in the air and when he landed his fur still stood up."what was that." He asked.

"No Spruce." She meowed softly. "If there is something back there I don't wamt you getting hurt." She looked at him her eyes filling with sorrow. "I dont know how I'd be able to handle that." She cried.
