( Sunpaw & Sunfish, @knot & Sunfish, Marshpaw & Silvercloud, Brackenpaw & Silvercloud, Viperpaw & Silvercloud - silvercloud, i wasn't sure whether or not you wanted an apprentice, so if you don't want all of them, let me know. if you guys could post in the activity check, that'd be great )
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here beneath Highstone!" Robinfrost called. "Sunkit, Knotkit, please step forward. By naming these apprentices, we show that IceClan with survive and remain strong. Sunkit, Knotkit. From now on, you will be known as Sunpaw and Knotpaw. Sunfish, you will be training the both of them." The deputy glanced over at his friend, a tiny, discrete smile tugging at the corners to his mouth.
"Silverpaw, you are kind and a skilled hunter. It is time for you to become a warrior. I name you Silvercloud. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life? I do. Then I commend you to CloudClan, to become a warrior."
"Marshkit, Brackenkit, and Viperkit, please step forward. By naming these apprentices, we show that IceClan will survive and remain strong. From now on, you will be known as Marshpaw, Brackenpaw, and Viperpaw. Silvercloud, you are ready to train these apprentices."

Okay, so maybe Knotkit had been a little too excited for his ceremony, but when he heard the call to gather he was one of the first cat's to show up. He wanted to know who his mentor would be and he wanted to know when they would start. The idea of leaving camp was probably the most exciting thing Knotkit had heard in a while. He had seen outside of the camp once from a good vantage point, but he had never been out there. In a few moments the speech began.
Knotkit was called up with another cat he knew, Sunkit. They were paired with a cat whose name was Sunfish. So now he had a new name and a mentor and also a friend to train with. Knotpaw touched his nose to his new mentors as was the custom, but he was kind of in a daze. He didn't know his new mentor, nor did he know many of the other cats that were a part of this ceremony, but he knew Sunpaw and that was something. He was an apprentice now and that was all he could think of.

The fact that the ceremony was about to begin was so exciting! But Sunkit knew she would have to be quiet until it was over. She quickly noticed that she and Knotkit were the only cats that had arrived yet. She wondered who her mentor would be. And then the ceremony began. As Sunkit heard her name being called, she smiled. Finally she would be an apprentice! She was so happy to be called -paw instead of -kit. And she would be an apprentice with her friend Knotpaw and her mentor was a respected warrior! It was like a dream come true to Sunpaw. Following Knotpaw, Sunpaw touched noses with Sunfish, because it was a tradition.

Sunfish's ears pricked and his head cocked. He didn't expect to be called for not only one apprentice, but two. He never usually payed too much attention to ceremonies but today he made sure to figure out who was who. He watched as Sunpaw and Knotpaw were made apprentices and given to him to mentor. He touched noses with them and he formed a small smile. "Training will begin as soon as possible. We'll be making you great warriors." He told them with a small laugh.
He looked around for Silvercloud and dipped his head to his apprentices. "Excuse me for a moment." He walked over to Silvercloud and flicked an ear, smiling. "Good job. Not only are you a warrior now you've got a little army of apprentices. Looks like you've got your paws full. But Robinfrost must trust you with all that responsibility. You've done good." He gave a curt nod before walking back over to the apprentices.
"You'll probably have training together on some occasions. Maybe fighting lessons. We'll see."

Sliverpaw was strangely calm as she stepped forward. She knew that she would become a warrior today, and she wasn't a bag of nerves like she had been at her last ceremony. Today, she felt like she could conquer the world. She smiled softly as Robinfrost named her. Silvercloud. It sounded perfect to her, rolling off her tongue as easily as any other name. It wasn't just a name change though, but a symbol. A symbol that she was now a true warrior of Iceclan. Dipping her head to the deputy, she stepped back, pleased and proud. Listening to the rest of the ceremony, she took a double take as her name was called. Her? She hadn't been a warrior for even a day, hadn't completed a vigil or anything. It was nice though, to have apprentices. Three, to be exact. A nice number, if unusually large. Marshpaw, Brackenpaw and Viperpaw. They seemed to be great cats, with plenty of potential. It was now up to her to develop it. She stepped up again and touched their noses in turn. She would accept this, and be the best mentor she possibly could. Turning at the sound of her mentor's voice, Silvercloud nodded respectfully at him. She was happy that Sunfish had thought her worthy of the praise. "Thank you Sunfish. You've been a great mentor, and I'll try to be worthy of my new responsibility and teach them as well as you have taught me." Speaking softly, she returned his nod. Silvercloud padded up to her three apprentices and smiled at them. "Well done! You've ended kithood, and now I'll be your mentor. Go to the apprentices' den and get settled in, and I'll go perform my vigil. I'll be mostly training all of you individually, but for battle training and such I might pair you up to train against each other."
(I'm fine with apprentices. It'll be interesting anyway.)

Marshkit had simply watched as two other kits, both of which he had met, stepped forward to receive their names. He sighed under his breath, thinking just for a second he wasn't going to be dubbed an apprentice. He would've of course taken the time to shout out the names of the new apprentices and warrior. However, after the warrior ceremony, three kits, including himself, were called forward. With gleeful excitement, the black and white tom burst forward to receive his apprentice name. His tail wavered back and forth slightly as he was named an apprentice. He was surprised to hear that his mentor was Silvercloud, who had just been names a warrior prior to his ceremony. Silently, he wished her luck with him and the other two apprentices who would be sharing her as a mentor. Like all apprentices, he touched noses with his mentor and listened to what she had to say. He nodded to her words, silently celebrating his new name. That was when it came to him, shouldn't he at least say something before he ran off? "I will be happy to be training under you, Silvercloud." Marshpaw meowed, acting like the definition of a teacher's pet. However, he had every reason to try and form a good relationship with his mentor.

Sunpaw smiled quietly as Sunfish talked to her and Knotpaw. Sunfish had said they would go out to the territory soon! Sunpaw nearly started bouncing up and down with excitement, but then realized that was something a kit would do. She was an apprentice now, and should act like one. Then she realized that she wasn't so sure about something. "Sunfish, where do I make a den?" Sunpaw asked. She knew that Sunfish had probably heard that question about 1,000 times, but she didn't want to mess up on her first day of being an apprentice. First impressions are everything.

"The apprentice's den is over there." He flicked his tail in the direction. "Make a nest anywhere you'd like in there. You could even get someone to help you if you'd like. I'm sure you've got some friends who'd like to help you move?" He could always help her if she didn't but he shrugged. "It's up to you where you make it in there. I'd chose somewhere close to a friend maybe, or someone you know, if you'd like."

Knotpaw listened to his new mentor intently. They said that both him and Sunpaw would begin training soon. Knotpaw's brain was whirring with ideas of what the territory may be like. He looked around at all the other cats who were a new rank up in the ladder of the clan hierarchy. An apprentice who had become a warrior now had three apprentices. Knotpaw couldn't really imagine having three apprentices right after becoming a warrior, that seemed almost excessive. The new warrior seemed to be handling it well though.
The Sunfish came back and Knotpaw realized for the first time that he had left. Knotpaw decided that he'd have to be more observant from now on, no more zoning out. So he listened to his mentor again. He told him and Sunpaw that they might be training together. Knotpaw didn't really mind. Then Sunpaw asked where she was supposed to build a den. Knotpaw smirked a little. He knew that they were supposed to go to the Apprentice Den and not make their own. He didn't say anything though. At another time he might tease her for it, but right now wasn't the time. Sunfish explained hat they were to do and Knotpaw listened too, just to make sure his information wasn't wrong. It wasn't.

Sunpaw listened intently as Sunfish explained where to go. Make a nest near a friend? The only other apprentices she knew that were her age were Marshpaw and Knotpaw, but she didn't know Marshpaw very well. "Hey Knotpaw, we should probably go to the apprentices, den, right?" Sunpaw meowed. She hoped that Knotpaw didn't think she was stupid for asking, but it would of been worse to mess up.

Knotpaw looked at his friend. She suggested going to the apprentice den now, but then he looked over to the other apprentices and flicked his tail slightly, trying to decide what to do. "Hey, I'll meet you there, okay?" He meowed before running over to the other apprentices. He wanted to talk to the other apprentices real quick. He hadn't met most of them. He had met Marshpaw for a brief moment once, but the rest were unknown to him. He tried to recall their name as he padded up to them.

"Alright, goods good!" Sunpaw meowed. Then she looked over at Knotpaw as he attempted to socialize with the other apprentices. Sunpaw didn't see the point in it, because she would meet them soon enough anyways. So she decided to head out to the apprentices' den, that is, after she congratulated Silvercloud, that is. Sunpaw padded near her and meowed, "How are you today?"

Silvercloud nodded in contentment as she finished her briefing. Flicking her tail happily as Marshpaw spoke to her, she smiled. She knew that it might be the start of a great relationship. Maybe between friends? Musing quietly, she almost missed Sunpaw's meow. Spinning again, she grinned as the apprentice spoke. "I'm doing great today. It's a big day, after all. Both for me and you too." Quietly, she mused about the interesting coincidence of Sunpaw being apprenticed to Sunfish. Then again, maybe it was Robinfrost's idea of a joke. Choking slightly on her laughter, she listened for Sunpaw's reply.

Brackenkit had stayed quiet throughout the whole ceremony. His face shone excitement, though his body seemed calm and like he really didn't care. But he did. As he sat there, he looked at the other kits that were getting their ceremonies today as well. There was an apprentice becoming a warrior to. This was one big ceremony. When his name was finally announced, he stepped forward, along with two other kits. Hmm. Marshpaw and Viperpaw. He was willing to have a meeting with the two later on. His new name, Brackenpaw. His mentor, Silvercloud. How interesting. He was given the newly appointed warrior.
As the ceremony dissipated, he saw all the cats conversing and making new friends. He slowly walked over to his mentor and listened to what she had to say. Dipping his head he responded, It is an honor to be trained under you. I know you will train all of us well. He mewed respectfully. He soon took off and found another, slightly bigger apprentice. He recalled Robinfrost naming him @knot. Ah, Hi there. The name is Brackenpaw. Was all the tom could muster as he placed a smile on his muzzle and waited for the other tom to reply.

When Knotpaw walked over to the other newly made apprentices one stepped forward to meet him. Knotpaw tried to match the other cat's face to a name said during the ceremony. He had been a bit out of it since he had been so excited to be an apprentice so he had missed a few of the names said. Of course Knotpaw seemed to be lucky today cause the other apprentice introduced himself as Brackenpaw. "Hello Brackenpaw. I'm Knotpaw." He stated back, just in case the other tom had missed Knotpaw's name too.
"Congrats on becoming an apprentice." Knotpaw smirked a little. His statement was supposed to be a sort of joke since all you required to become an apprentice was being alive a certain amount of moons. It wasn't hard, but there was still some merit to have some congratulation. It was still exciting and it was still a proud moment for Knotpaw himself. Perhaps Knotpaw had also intended his joke to be a sort of test too just to see how the other cat would react.
