Brackenpaw's smile broadened as the tom seemed into starting a conversation. So he was right. This was the one named Knotpaw. It was a strange name, but he wasn't one to judge. It's great to meet you, Knotpaw. I'm sure Sunfish will be a great mentor to both you and Sunpaw. Mewed the tom with a slight chuckle. How ironic Sunfish would get Sunpaw as an apprentice. He looked around as it seemed that the only ones left in the clearing were the apprentices. Oh well.
The tom tilted his head slightly as he let out a laugh. Yes, well I'm sure being an apprentice can't be nearly as hard as sitting around and just growing a few moons. Said the tom as his laugh grew a little. He knew that the tom was joking. But he still did feel like it was a small honor to be named an apprentice. It showed that he was finally big enough, and physically ready to train to be the best warrior he could be. |

So far this tom seemed pretty cool. Even when they said Sunpaw and Sunfish's names together they gave a small chuckle, which to Knotpaw was a good sign. It was pretty interesting that the two cats with sun in their name got paired up together. "Yeah Sunfish seems cool. I don't really know him yet though. What about you mentor?" knot paw cocked his head slightly to the side. If he remembered right Brackenpaw's mentor was new.
Knotpaw chuckled at the tom's statement on sitting around and aging. "I'm sure it was oh so difficult." Knotpaw mowed dramatically. He had lived being a kit and playing games, but he was ready to be an apprentice and take on some responsibility. He wanted to learn what was outside of camp. It was more exciting than a game of mossball.

As Sunpaw listened to Silvercloud, she still wondered how she would train. "Congratulations Silvercloud!" Sunpaw meowed. She wondered how well Marshpaw and the other apprentices would be trained, since Silvercloud was new.

Silvercloud nodded at the apprentice. In truth, she had no idea how to train her apprentices, seeing as she was still new to being a warrior. Still, she would try her very best to ensure that they all had the best training she could possibly give. She wouldn't let them down! Shaking her doubts off for the moment, she padded off to get ready for her vigil.

Sunpaw, seeing that Silvercloud had left, joined over with the other apprentices. Maybe Knotpaw's idea to socialize with them wasn't so bad after all, since it might be a while till they would train together. They also would be sleeping and eating together, so heck, why not meet them. Sunpaw padded over to them, stealing a glance at Knotpaw to see what he would say.
