Olivepaw nodded. "Sure. Okay, so first, you have to find a tree that's not too skinny or too fat." he instructed. He cast his green eyes around the area, landing them on a tree that wasn't too thin or too thick. He immediately approached said tree, gesturing for her to come over.

I nodded, skipping over to Olivepaw. Yet I felt my interest slipping away piece by piece. It took all of my conscious thought just to keep listening.

Olivepaw noticed her disinterest right away. He immediately tried to make it more interesting, and latched onto the tree. "If you wanna learn how to climb, you gotta try it." he meowed, lashing his fluffy tail. "Come on up!~"

Oh! He made it look like a game! Games were fun! Instantly, I wrapped my short paws around the tree while giggling insanely. Though I couldn't help but note truly how small my legs were.... "Hehe! Up! Up! Up I go!" I cheered, springing into the air and a foot off the ground, grabbing the tree and latching on. I remained there for a moment. "Mmhm...." I mumbled, unmoving. "Uh... I'm stuck."

Olivepaw crawled up the tree, his claws sticking into the staff of the tree like pins. "You gotta move your paw up, and then pull yourself up with your other paw," he tried to explain; showing her was the best he could do.

I tried doing what he said, only to squeal in surprise as my claw slipped and I tumbled back the foot I had leaped. I landed on my back, letting out a muffled squeak before peering back up at Olivepaw sadly. "Ehehehe... tree climbing isn't very fun... or easy... ow...." I whined, rolling onto my side and pouting, already giving up.

[/b]," he apologized, whether to Sweetpaw or himself he did not know. The ginger tom licked his white paw sheepishly, as he waited for a reply from the she-cat beside him. [/ul]

I scoffed playfully, standing up and brushing dirt off my fur. "It's not your fault I'm super tiny." I chided, giving my small paw a kick in the sand. "Believe me, I wish I was taller... I can't do anything like this. I can't run, I can't climb, I can't jump as high as everyone else. It's not your fault...." I trailed off, staring off into my thoughts with a pout. Everyone else was good at hunting and fighting and climbing. All I did was make a mess of things. I tried to stay positive, but being an apprentice really showed me... I can't be like everyone else.
I was just too small. Even my voice was squeaky and high and tiny. I should have been named Tinypaw. Or Littlepaw. Or something that fit me.

((I'M SORRY! I thought I had updated this sooner :'c)) "What do you mean?" He said after listening to her speech. His green eyes quickly looked her over, saying the first thing that came to mind, "You're not that small." A scoff rose in his throat. "Even if you were, that doesn't mean you're not capable of what any other cat is. It just..." Olivepaw was at a loss for words. The tom bit his lip, trying to come up with something to make her feel better. He wasn't very good at cheering cats up. "I guess it just means you have to work a little harder than everyone else. Which means you'll appreciate it more when you finally get it down." With a playful nudge, he said, "Nothing's impossible. Not even for you."
