( Lionstrike )
Robinstar crossed the Thunderpath, glancing over his shoulder to make sure no one was following, before continuing into the trees beyond. He made his way through Loner territory, heading towards his mother's grave. He knew the way well—so well that he could probably get there with his eyes closed. The Tom had been thinking of her. Why hasn't she been at his naming ceremony? She was in CloudClan, wasn't she? It hurt that she hadn't come. Unless, of course, she couldn't. But he wouldn't know why.
Of course, visiting her grave wouldn't give him answers, but it would make him feel better. The tom froze as he caught a scent—one achingly familiar despite the overlaying scent of TreeClan and the much stronger scent of blood and... Two-legs? Suddenly worried, Robinstar followed the scent, pushing fiercely through the bushes, not caring how far it would bring him from his Clan and his mother's grave. "Leo...?"

I was stuck. I don't know what happened, but I finally escaped after weeks of being in two-leg captivity. I was in pain as well. Something wasn't right.
I was taking shelter in the barn I grew up in, and a voice but my ears. "R-Robby!" I gasped in surprise.

The scent brought him to the barn. Memories flooded back, memories of Leo, Robin, and his mother. The leader was glad that she had chosen the spot to… what exactly was she doing? Bleeding out? He squeezed inside through a crack in the side of the barn, searching through them Pom with blue-green eyes. He as about to open his mouth to call out again, when her familiar voice called his name.
"Leo! Leo, Leo," he murmured once he had found her, concern creasing his usually expressionless face as his eyes adjusted to the darkness. "Wh-what happened? Why aren't you with your kits in TreeClan?" He asked

I winced, my attempt of standing failing. His voice was getting closer, and my fear began to disappear. He was in front of me now, and I sighed with relief.
"...could ask you the s-same." I said through clenched teeth. "I was caught...by two legs. They did something to me...and I ran away, but my wound opened again." I said, closing my eyes because it was too painful. "Why are you even here? Wildstar is essentially dead. You have no one to run your clan."

"No, you couldn't. I don't have kits in TreeClan." Robinstar gave a small laugh, but it faded when he smelled blood. "Are you okay? I smell blood." He looked down at her, searching for the wound. When she began to explain, he felt a fierce protectiveness take over and his fur stood on end. "They invaded your clan and took you? Do you know why?" He asked.
His eyes fell towards the wound, and he opened his mouth slightly. "I don't know much about herbs," he told her nervously, looking around the room. "But we obviously need to stop the bleeding so I can get you home." The muscle in his jaw worked as he tried to figure out a solution. When she spoke again, he looked down at her. "Oh... I, uh," he didn't feel like he had time to explain. What would her reaction be, anyways? I need to figure this out first. I'll tell her about it later. "I was visiting mother's grave," he responded.

I rolled my icy eyes at the tom. "Don't take me literally." I muttered, giving him a scowl. "Oh, yeah. I'm perfectly fine. Just bleeding to death. Nothing painful about that." Sarcasm dripped in my voice. I shook my head. "No...I was outside the camp. I was taking a walk, and I ran, but there was this...two-leg thing that trapped me."
I shook my head. "You can't take me home. Spiderstar doesn't take kindly to outsiders." I said. "I can just stay here until I'm better." I murmured, better referring to dead. I was visiting my mother's grave. "...Oh."
His mother had been like a mother to me as well, my own abandoning me here when I was still young. He and I were practically siblings, but I never felt that way towards the tom.

"I'm sorry my eyes don't adjust to the darkness as fast as they should," he shot back, rolling his eyes. However, when they had adjusted, he did notice how bad the wound is. "Leo... What did they do to you?" Robinstar inquired when she was done explaining how she'd been captured. He pushed his nose into her fur, worry creasing his features.
"Fine. I'll take you to my home. IceClan. Since I'm— I can have the Medicine Cats help you, even if you're from a different clan," he told her. "Either way, I won't leave you here. You won't get better, you'll die. And I… I can't have that happen," he told her, frowning. "And you aren't in a state to fight me off. So come on." He pushed the female onto his shoulders, trying to be careful not to hurt her, and grunted under her weight. He could deal.

I shook my head. "I don't know. They caught me, threw me in some shiny den, and took me somewhere cold and bright. I don't remember anything except waking up in some two-leg's home. They took me outside, and I ran." I gritted my teeth, the pain flashing quickly.
"What? Why!? Wildstar may be dead as a rock, but bringing a TreeClan queen to your camp? You've got to be joking." I said, narrowing my eyes at him. I sighed. "There's no changing you." I mumbled. My head jerked up, my ear twitching. "Robbie..." I knew him well enough. I shouldn't have said to leave me here. I was one of the only cats he had left, right? "Fine."

Robinstar frowned, examining her wound. "Do you know why you're bleeding?" He asked, worried. "Did they hurt you, or did something happen while you were escaping? How long have you been out here?" He was probably overwhelming her with questions, but he needed to know. The walls of the barn seemed to close in on him, and he wanted to get out as soon as possible. There were too many memories here, happy and sad, and he didn't want to think about it right now.
"Ah, you see... that's the thing. Wildstar is dead as a rock. Meaning she's dead. Which means... well, I'm leader. Robinstar." He winced, waiting for her reaction. When she agreed, he didn't hesitate to leave, determined to get her home before she bled out on him. He didn't exactly want to see her face when she took in the fact that he was leader. She was a little unpredictable, and he wasn't exactly sure how she'd feel about it. He was tied to his clan now, and he could never leave.

I shook my head at the tom. "You're asking me questions I don't know. I just only recently woke up, and the minute I was taken out, I took off." My claws had begun to sink into the soft ground in the barn, pain coursing through my pale body.
Well, I'm leader. I froze, which only worsened my discomfort. My icy eyes were wide as I stared at him, disbelief flooding my gaze. "Ha...you've gotta be joking. She's been leader since, well, who knows. The same as Darkstar..." I said. Surely he was just jesting her. He was told to never go the clans, never get attached...why would he pretend to do something like this?

Robinstar sighed. "Maybe the Medicine cats can figure it out. They must've done something to your stomach." What would any two-leg want to do to a cat's stomach? Surely they wouldn't get anything good out of it? Obviously nothing fatal. Still, we've got to get her back. He thought as he lifted her onto his shoulders before escaping the gloom of the barn. He walked as quickly as possible, making a silent promise to visit his mother's grave another time.
"You do know she isn't immortal, right? Honestly, I'm surprised she's been alive this long." He told her, pushing his way past a bush. He glanced up to make sure Lionstrike was doing okay, before continuing into the trees. "If you don't believe me, wait until we get to IceClan."

"I don't know what they'd want to do with my stomach. If they wanted some old mouse, I guess, but that's disgusting." I said, wrinkling my nose at the thought.
"I know! I'm not an idiot, Robin." I snapped, sighing. "I just...you weren't supposed to get attached. You weren't supposed to become a deputy, let alone a leader."

Robinstar's face shifted into a look of disgust. "Maybe you were sick," he said with a shrug. "But I don't know why the Two-legs would want to help wild cats. Mother used to tell us that they wouldn't help strays, right? Unless they were going to keep them," he said, frowning. "The sooner we get back, the sooner we'll find out. C'mon, let's go."
The tabby let out a chuckle at her outburst, but when she started speaking again, he stopped in his tracks, suddenly becoming defensive. "Says the one who went and gave birth to half the Clan in TreeClan! And don't tell me you aren't attached." He sighed, cooling down. "You're right. Mother said never to go near them, but how could I stay away when they were the only ones who knew anything about her? I didn't mean for the rest to happen. It just... did."

I snorted. "I don't think I was sick. I was perfectly fine before the caught me and cut me open." I stuck out my tongue at the thought of that being true. They had opened my stomach for CloudClan knows what, and that was disgusting. "I think they did want to keep me. I was in one of the two leg dens when I woke up, yeah? They were trying to touch me and feed me too. That two leg food is horrid."
I turned my icy gaze to him, glaring shards of glass. "I was asked to, and I couldn't say no! I had always wanted to be a mother!" I growled, my hackles raised. I felt like I had just revealed some extremely huge secret, but I pushed the thought away. "Of course I was attached! They're my children! But, I wasn't told not to go!" I argued. My tail whipped behind me, picking my pace up again.
"It's over. You made your choice." I murmured.

Robinfrost grunted. "I'm glad you escaped, then," he told her. "Coming to save you would be pretty difficult," he added with a grin, padding out of the barn, helping Lionstrike along the way. "Well, whatever they did, I hope it's nothing serious." The tom' expression grew grin, and he fell silent as they made their way through the meadow. Hopefully other animals wouldn't realize they were vulnerable.
Her words surprised him. "You… did?" He asked, titling his head slightly. He'd never heard her say it before, but he supposed it wasn't too hard to believe. "I didn't know." He looked down at her, hurt flashing behind his eyes. "You were her daughter too, Leo. She told both of us not to join the Clans. She wanted to protect you, too." The whole conversation had made him think—he had gone to find out more about his mother, to be closer to her, but he still knew as much as he did about her past as he did growing up—nothing.
The leader made it his mission to find something out. But how? He stared after his friend, before trailing behind her. "I have. And I'm not going to turn away from them. They trust me, and they've bee kind to me. They'll do the same for you. Give it a chance."
