(For Anemonemist and one other person! Let's try and keep a posting order if there's three people ) The sky was turning a delicate shade of yellow, tinging the azure sky with a rosy glow that told of the coming evening. The wind had started up and was blowing rather harder than it had been during the afternoon. Having long fur did help against the cold, but as for being in the wind, it got to be a bit of a pain, always blowing in your face. Raising my paw to brush away some of the fur around my face, my ears pricked as the sounds of approaching pawsteps reached them. Twisting my neck to look around at whoever was approaching. "Hm? Hello..." I said. Whoever they were, they should at least have the hospitality of being greeted.

Anemonemist hadn't even noticed the she-cat until she spoke, her mind too fuzzy with repeating herb after herb and their uses about a billion times. In a confused haze, she met the long-haired RockClanner's gaze. Though she seemed to be struggling to keep her fur out of her face. The wind certainly was vicious at the moment. Stepping closer, Anemonemist supposed she needed to learn the names of a few RockClanners. And what harm could come of speaking with this she-cat? "Eh... hello." she responded with a small dip of her head. She was unsure if this she-cat would remain friendly or not, but she hoped any hostility wasn't just around the corner. "I didn't notice you at all... I was thinking about some things. Anyway, I'm Anemonemist. You?"

"Oh, hello!" I said in response to the cat who had approached: a spotted, pale-furred she-cat. Standing up from where I was sitting, I turned fully to face the she-cat. "I didn't notice you at all... I was thinking about some things. Anyway, I'm Anemonemist. You?" So her name was Anemonemist... In response to her own stated question, I answered, "I'm Dapplecloud. I'm pleased to meet you." I said in a kindly voice toward the newly met cat.

{ it's fine, Spruce :3 it's an open thread for all! }
Anemonemist was about to speak to this RockClanner--Dapplecloud--when the scent and sight of an apprentice caused her to stop. She paused, turning to give the stranger an odd look. In her opinion, apprentices were dull and easily influenced into trouble. They hadn't matured enough to fully understand the world around them. And yet, she supposed stupidity couldn't be contagious if it was just one apprentice nearby. And it appeared he would have enough respect to leave a conversation he hadn't realized was there. So, he was okay to stay. "Yes, in a way. Though your welcomed to join the chat." Anemonemist said to the apprentice before turning back to Dapplecloud. "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Dapplecloud."

I turned my head to a familiar voice, to see my apprentice. "Hello, Sprucepaw." Turning back to Anemonemist, I explained, "This is Sprucepaw, my apprentice." Shifting my paws slightly where I sat, stirring up the dust a bit, I nodded to Sprucepaw and Anemonemist respectively, saying, to both, "So... How have you been doing recently?" I winced inwardly at the weak conversation starter, but it was all I had at the moment.
[sorry for the short post, I've been kind of busy]

"Oooh sorry." he apologized. then he nodded as Dapplecloud introduced him to the new cat. "Pleasure to meet you." he said. Then he turned to Dapplecloud "I've been exploring with some friends some of them haven't started training yet so I'm kind of showing them the territory but ill leave the more important stuff for their mentors." he said.

Anemonemist allowed Sprucepaw to speak first, giving her ear a violent twitch when he had finished. So, he acted like a mentor to his friends. Strange. "I've been busy cleaning our the herb storage and checking the herb patches." Anemonemist explained with a light shrug of her speckled shoulders. "It's kept me busy and out of socializing chances."
