( Honeykit Snowkit) The young tabby licked her sleeping kits. Outside of the den, the sun was rising, turning the sky dusky orange. "Wakey wakey." She whispered and gave them rapid licks, waking them up. "You want to go and play, don't you?" Smiled the large shecat, raising her head and looking through the bramble protection and into the twinkling orange sheet that stretched over their heads. |

Honeykit rubbed her face in her paws and then sprung to her paws with fur looking like a hedgehog. She swished her large head side to side and then blinked in surprise at the white kit. "A sister?!" The huge kit bounced around in circles, dropping into play-bows and letting out mrrrows of excitement.

"W-what?" the black and white she kit mewed while she opened her bright yellow eyes and looked a the queen "Oh!Hi Mom!".Snowkit became really excited with the idea of playing outside with her sister,Honeykit,however the little kitten didn't show any excitment on her face.Yawning,she padded towards her sister,who looked to be really happy I think that we'll be good friends the black she kit thought with a purr "Hi!I'm Snowkit,what's your name?" she asked with curiosity flicking her plumy tail

"Im Honeykit!" She purred warmly. "I can't wait until sunhigh so we can go and play!" Honeykit grinned and touched her nose to her sister's.

"Well, you need cleaning." She meowed and pulled Honeykit in with her massive cream paws. Earthblossom groomed her spiky pelt until it was its usual silky self.

Ah!Her name is Honeykit.It really suits her Snowkit thought looking at her sister returning her sister's nose touch with a warm smile. Mom is cleaning Honeykit,maybe I should do the same with myself the little kitten thought.Snowkit started to lick herself,but it was hard to make it silky and fluffy,she really had a lot of fur.At the end,Snowkit's fur wasn't the most beautiful fur in the world but it was good enough."Mom!Can we go outside now?" Snowkit asked Earthblossom "Errrrr...please?" she asked looking at the nursery's entrance with interest

She leapt from her mother's paws with a squeak of excitement. Her long fur shook like tree leaves in the wind with every movement she made. "Please!" Honeykit squeaked, bouncing around the nursery and then standing beside her smaller sister with a loud purr.

"Fine. Just dont go bothering any other cats, will you?" She meowed, giving both her kits an affectionate lick. "And don't you dare go near the medicine cat den." Earthblossom said more harshly, turning her emerald green gaze to the frosty grey gaps in the brambles. "Go on then, before it rains!" The shecat purred.

Willowkit opened her bright green eyes and blinked away sleep. She saw two kits who she'd never seen before but knew their scent. Her twin, Snowkit, was perched right in front of her with her older sister beside her. The medium sized kit sqiurmed to her paws and looked at her mother. "Hey mum! You're prettier than I expected. And Honeykit and Snowkit, you two have the most beautiful eyes and coats. Can we all go play together?"

"Yay!We won't bother other cats right guys?" Snowkit mewed calmly "Let's race until the entrance!" she mewed to Honeykit and Willowkit running as fast as she could towards the entrance.

Honeykit bounded strongly after her, matching her pace with ease. She pushed against her sister as they ran, trying to slow her down.

The kit was the second biggest in the litter, clearly. She sprung after them, running strongly yet slower than her siblings. Willowkit sunk her tiny teeth into her sisters' tails and dug her claws into the ground, anchoring herself in the floor and stopping them from running any further. "You could have waited!" Snapped the kit, angrily.

Snowkit saw that her older sister started to make her slow down,so the black kit was going to stop.However,before Snowkit stopped she felt something on her plumy and thick tail "Ouch!That hurts Willowkit!" she mewed twitching her white tail tip.It just thought that it would be fun to make a race until the entrance... Snowkit thought with annoyance,without showing that on her expression.At the end,the she kit felt guilty,not annoyance "I'm sorry Willowkit and Honeykit.I promise that I won't do it anymore"

"No its fine. I was up for a race but SOMEONE clearly isn't." She gave Willowkit a look through narrowed turquoise eyes and then licked both of her sisters on the shoulder. "Why don't we talk to DovePaw and StonePaw, mummy's apprentices?"

"Ok... I can't help wondering how they'll react. They might be able to teach us!" Willowkit smirked, turning her emerald gaze to her paws. "I'll ask StonePaw to be my mentor, as mummy was his. Then I can mentor one of his kits." The kit paws at the dusty floor.
