Darkstar padded behind Ravenshadow. She actually hadn't been on a hunt for awhile, and was eager to use her skills once again. "Ready as I ever will be."

She runs after Ravenshadow. Darkstar took in the scents of the forest. She could smell the rabbits, voles, the birds. She felt relaxed finally, after seeing her clan disappear. All of her troubles seem to go away as she focused her mind on something other than leading a clan.

*stalks a bird looking the other direction and i pounce on it and i lift my head up*Having Fun yet?*she picks up the bird and buries it for later*

Darkstar pounces on a vole, killing it instantly. "Yes," she responded in one word as she buried the vole to retrieve it later.

Darkstar knew that she hadn't smiled in awhile, and if she did it was most likely a fake smile. She sniffed the air for more prey to kill. The wind blew in her direction and she immediately noticed a young sparrow hopping around pecking at a worm. She remembered seeing a bird eating a worm when she was a kit and she decided to eat on too. Darkstar never knew what the birds tasted when they ate worms, but she didn't really appreciate the taste. Darkstar dropped down to the ground. Luckily that sparrow was facing the other direction. Darkstar crept up to it, and before the bird knew what happened, it was in her jaws.

*i cacth the rabbit*ok,The three kits can eat the rabbit,we can spilt the sparrow,and Squirrelpelt and emberstep can eat the crow i caught.agreed?

Darkstar dropped the bird so that she could speak. "That's sounds good. We probably shouldn't catch anymore. We don't want to waste the prey," she said with a nod. Darkstar picked up the bird and walked over to where she had buried the vole. She dug it up and took it in her jaws. She started trotting back to camp with the bird and the vole in her mouth.
