I'M CHOKING ON MY WORDS LIKE I GOT A NOOSE AROUND MY NECK
HORNETSTRIPE IS A, Maine coon that resides in TreeClan. She was named after a hornet because of her large breed and similar colour. She is currently of young Warrior age and is in good health. Her base pelt is golden and she has a dark brown tabby pattern and colouring behind her ears, a white muzzle and white tips on the fur around her neck. Her eyes are emerald green. Her build is quite lean for her breed; she has long legs, a hollow stomach and broader chest and is quite tall (she hasn't filled out yet, that will most likely happen during green-leaf). Her pelt is long, soft and quite thick, being longer around her cheeks and chest like a mane. Her tail is also very long and fluffy, and her claws are an average length sharpness, her teeth averagely sharp but a little longer than normal.
Her scars include several nicks sprinkled over her left shoulder and rump from a hunting accident that lead to her taking a dive from a tree.
Overall, she is a long furred gold and dark brown tabby maine coon with green eyes.
Hornetstripe's past names have been Hornetkit and Hornetpaw. Her nickname is Hornet - she refers to herself as such occasionally. Her favourite foods are swallow and eggs, colours are maroon and gold, season is leaf-bare, Clan is TreeClan and time of day is sunset. Her biggest fears are forest fires and large dogs. The two traits pointed out at her Warrior ceremony were loyal and wise. If she was a human, her name would be Cynthia and her appearance would be LIKE THIS but with green eyes

PERSONALITY
Good traits - Stubborn when faced with a challenge, quite kind to those she likes, not easy to manipulate, quite easy to figure out when she allows herself to speak, thinks before she speaks, sees beauty in the little things
Bad traits - Rather clumsy sometimes, becomes flustered when a situation doesn't turn out the way she planned, easily offended, quite hot-headed occasionally, very little sense of self-worth, occasionally judgemental, anxiety, very sensitive about family
Likes - Sharpening her claws, climbing, high places, bugs, snow, night-time, kits (their innocence makes her happy)
Dislikes - Boasting, overly energetic cats, over-the-top optimists, frogs
Strengths - Climbing
Weaknesses - Her own constant self-shaming and belief she can't do anything right
Persona - Pessimist
Quirks - Has a strong love for moths, has a very hard time looking others in the eyes
First impression - A rather quiet and cold cat with a stone personality, she doesn't show much to begin with, and isn't the easiest at starting or keeping conversations.
General personality - Trust isn't a luxury that can be gained very easily when interacting with Hornet. Under the impression that everyone is in it for themselves, and she isn't particularly worth anything at all herself, she can be quite difficult to converse with at times, and can completely shut out the world around her when given reason to. However, when on her good side, she is a very loyal cat who will put her life in the hands of her companions, and will speak freely when around them, letting herself go and be free to talk endlessly about her loves. She takes offence easily from those who she believes care about her, and will become quite enraged if the connection between them is suddenly dropped. She enjoys reading cats and figuring out their traits and personalities, judging them if they're worth her time for not before putting in the effort of meaningful conversation. She has a very low self esteem, and will constantly judge herself based on others reactions towards what she says.

Training
@leelee : Apprentice - TBAFlowerfall : Former Mentor - Neutral - "We didn't speak much outside of our training sessions, although I did enjoy myself during those. He was very informative and seemed to try his best to enlighten me on all the little things about the Clans, and didn't rush my learning. I'm really hapy I got to have him as my Mentor, and I'll try my best to pass on the things he taught me to my future Apprentices."
Other Relations
Panthershade : Acquaintance - Pleasant - "We got off to a rough start, but he seems like a likeable cat. I enjoyed climbing a tree in camp with him, although it was a short-lived thrill. Our conversations mostly consisted of small-talk, although it did interest me somewhat, I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out his personality. I feel like if I got to know him better maybe we could be friends." Olivefrost : Acquaintance - Pleasant - "She was quite direct in her approach, and very stern spoken, but I enjoyed the time I spent conversing with her. Her passion for riddles was enjoyable, and I had fun trying to figure out her words. I hope we can meet again in the future, I think she could make a great friend."
Fallenpaw [account deleted]: Acquaintance - Tedious - "We didn't meet on the best of terms, as she attacked me as I was passing by, but aside form the initial bickering -mostly coming from my end- she turned out to be pretty nice, although a little too hyper for my liking."
Leopardheart : Acquaintance - Neutral - "Our conversation was rather short and mostly small talk, but I still enjoyed speaking with her. I couldn't gte a real read on her personality, but I'm sure she's a great cat. Maybe we could meet again in the future, who knows?"
Macabre : Acquaintance - Pleasant - "Despite the difference in Allegiances, he seemed like a pretty chill guy. I enjoyed speaking with him, and I know it's unlikely but I hope to see him again one day. He seemed pretty lonely, so I hope we can be friends, or he can at least find someone to be with."
Finchwhisper : Acquaintance/friend? - Respected - "She's so...hard to figure out. I want to know what she's thinking, but I just can't seem to get a hold of it. She makes conversation rather easy, and I enjoy the short words we can both exchange without discomfort. She's quite kind, actually, and I really appreciate her help with setting up my nest. None the less, I suppose I do...enjoy her presence."
Dewmask : Acquaintance - Pleasant - "Well we went hunting, and she seemed nice enough, and was willing to let me go after different prey that may have been harder for her to reach. It's quite safe to say that I enjoyed her company, and wouldn't mind being around her more frequently."
Spottedheart : Acquaintance/friendship forming - Pleasant - TBA
Close Relations
Foxstrike : Best friend/possible love?/HISTORY
Hornetkit was born outside the Clans to an unknown she-cat, and taken in by the head Queen, Meadowlark. Her non-Clan lineage caused her to instantly feel like an outsider, and she took to watching the snow fall at night rather than sleep. She also developed a rather strong case of anxiety, plus a very low self-esteem that caused her to refrain from speaking to strangers or trusting cats too easily.
Her days as a kit were spent mainly residing in the Nursery, watching cats go by their daily tasks and generally staying out of troubles way. However, a few encounters with strange cats could not be avoided, and Hornetkit soon met Foxkit: a blind tabby tom born to a rogue that shared his wisdom and ways of life with her that gave her a new perspective on things. Foxkit became her first ever friend, though she doesn't trust him completely yet, but that is bound to come in time. She also met Pantherkit, a black tom that she had a rather rough encounter with at first, but they found common ground and enjoyed climbing a tree in camp together; as well as Olivekit, who shared a variety of riddles with her that she enjoyed solving.
She was named an Apprentice alongside Foxpaw and given the name Hornetpaw and assigned the Mentor, Flowerfall. Her training began with a tour of the borders of TreeClan, where she was taught about the Clans and the ways they went about life, retaining much useful knowledge from that, before ending it off with a hunting trip where she caught her first mouse. Soon after, she met up with Foxpaw and the two took to exploring the heart of the territory, following an overgrown path along and admiring the winter scenery. It was there that she discovered the softer side of him, and tried her best to show him what the night sky that she so dearly admired looked like by scratching it into the dirt. He soon repaid the favour by taking her to a stream and showing her how to close her eyes and 'see' the world through sound. It was during this trip that she began to to feel...something for him, although she wrote it off as merely normal feelings for a friend.
Back at Camp, she met Finchpaw, a rather confusing she-cat that she couldn't figure out no matter how hard she tried, and the two spoke for a bit. She also met up with Pantherpaw again, as well as Leopardpaw, Fallenpaw and Harmonysong, and finally a loner named Macabre, who she got on surprisingly well with. The sheer amount of encounters was somewhat overwhelming, but it built her confidence up a lot.
After what seemed like a very small amount of time, she finally had her Warrior ceremony and was given the name Hornetstripe, as well as the Apprentice Rosepaw. She began her Warriorhood rather harshly, as a severe migraine after the ceremony left her incapable of building her nest and she collapsed inside the Warriors den. Luckily, Finchpaw -now Finchwhisper- showed an immense amount of kindness and built her nest for her. She developed a huge amount of respect for the mysterious she-cat during this time, and will forever be grateful for her help. Her confidence during this time has built quite a lot, and she feels more comfortable around those she feels close to.
