[Sparrowkit]

Spruceclaw

Sparrowkit was sitting alone in the camp. She was by a snowbank, near the nursery. The pale brown tabby she-kit had been practicing her digging in it, as you could see there were small kitten-sized tunnels that ran though it. She noticed a warrior and stoop up, padding towards it. "H-hello! I'm Sparrowkit." She smiled

[Spruceclaw]

Spruceclaw, the newest warrior in camp, had been padding through the camp. he was about to leave for a hunt when he heard a small voice calling out. "Well hello there little one. I'm spruceclaw." he mewed dipping his head in greeting.

[Sparrowkit]

Sparrowkit's smile got bigger when the warrior actually noticed her. That was a first. "Hi Spruceclaw." She purred. "Where were you going?" The pale brown tabby she-kit asked, turning her head to the side. She was a curious little kit, and never really minded her own business. Her mother often said that she asked too many questions.

[Spruceclaw]

"I was about to go out hunting." he mewed sitting down in front of the kit. "What have you been doing?" he asked lookin at the snow pile behind the young ball of fur.

[Sparrowkit]

"Cool!" She replied, her eyes wide. Sparrowkit looked behind her at the snowbank that she bad been digging in. "I've been digging tunnels through the snowbank! So one day I'l be the best digger in the Clan!" She puffed out her chest in pride. Sparrowkit was a very ambitious kit, but most kits were already like that.

[Spruceclaw]

"I'm sure you will." he mewed nodding to her with a humorous smile. "Who's your mother little one?" he asked curiously. then a serious look came over his face and he sniffed the kit and looked at her very intently. "Youre not one of mine are you?" he asked continuing to sniff her. "You don't look like sandy or me but you could be i guess. whos your mum kit?" he asked continuing to sniff her.

[Sparrowkit]

Sparrowkit smiled with pride before shaking her head. "No, your not my dad." She said. "I don't know my real ma or dad, but Brackensky adopted me. That's one of the reasons why I work so hard on my digging, so I can catch up to the other kits." She said, flicking her ear.

[Spruceclaw]

"Yah its hard being different. ive met several cats who didn't know their parents." He mewed. "If you were mine something mustve went wrong. because my treeclan litter is in treeclan and my rockclan litteer hasn't been born yet." He mewed looking at the kitten. "So how are you fitting in?" He asked.

[Sparrowkit]

Sparrowkit stretched, flexing her tiny kitten claws into the snow. "Meh. I don't really have any friends. I don't talk to other kits because I'm afraid they'll judge me..." She frowned, revealing the whole other side of Sparrowkit. Her being this way a rare, and if any cat seen her like this, she'd try to make them forget all about it.

[Spruceclaw]

"I know this kit. her names vixen. she's not one to judge. i think you'd like her." He mewed tryin to cheer up the kit.

[Sparrowkit]

Sparrowkit looked up at Spruceheart. "Do you really think so?" She asked, her eyes were wide and hopeful. Sparrowkit looked around and shook her head. "Heh. Anyways enough about me. Who's your ma and dad?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. She tried to push her emotional episode to the side.

[Spruceclaw]

"I know so." he mewed looking at her andd nodding. spruce smiled at her next question. "My mother is sandleaf and i never knew my father." he mewed "although its not that uncommon . most kits never know their father." he mewed looking at the kit.

[Sparrowkit]

Sparrowkit nodded. "Heh, so I guess I'm not the only one then." She said, before remembering what he said about his TreeClan kits. "Do your TreeClan kits know who you are?" She asked, her tail wagging in excitement. Sparrowkit hoped that it wasn't too rude to ask him about, seeing that from what she understood, mates from other Clans were illegal.

"No they don't know about me yet but ill meat them someday." He saw a look in her eyes. "I know you're not supposed ti have mates in other clan but... i didn't originally mean to hace kits with her. but maybe you'll end up fallin for a cat in another clan." He mewed.

[Sparrowkit]

Sparrowkit nodded before freezing. Would I....fall in love with a cat from another Clan...? She thought. What would happen then? Would she get caught and become exiled? Would Spiderstar kill her? Sparrowkit shook the thoughts out of her mind. "Yeah...." She meowed awkwardly. She looked over at another completely untouched snowbank. "Do you want to go dig some tunnels in that snowbank over there with me?" She asked
